"Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight" is a tribute to 80 years of Batman. The game brings together Batman characters from a wide range of eras and tells a story of its own. It’s packed with Lego slapstick and humorous one-liners that make me laugh just as much as they do my five-year-old son.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight creates a clever throughline between the imagination of the brick-building video games and the mechanical genius of Rocksteady’s Arkham series, resulting in the strongest LEGO game yet. Full of endearment to its source material and approachable for audiences of almost all ages, regardless of whether your childhood Batman was Adam West or Robert Pattinson. It may not be quite the hardcore video game comeback we wanted from the Dark Knight, but it’s a surprising win nonetheless.
TT Games didn’t just rebuild Batman here. Along with their last stellar showing, LEGO Skywalker Saga, they’ve slapped down a duplo-sized brick in a larger plan to rebuild my faith in the entire LEGO games formula.
Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is a love letter to the character, the fans and the Batman universe.
LEGO games are usually lots of fun to begin with, but this one is elevated by being a fantastic tribute to decades of Batman. If you’re a fan of Batman, you’re really going to love the storylines, costumes, and references.
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight proves to be a massive, incredibly fun game, crafted with such attention to detail that every single Batman fan should experience it. Despite a gameplay system inherited directly from the Arkham series that falls short in polish (both in terms of gameplay and technical execution) and an underlying humor that, in rare moments of the campaign, feels overly pervasive and out of place, its encyclopedic scope, the extraordinary variety of main missions, and a spine-tingling audiovisual presentation make it an incredibly solid, massive, and satisfying product. If you’re looking for a total, reverential, and visceral journey into the history and immortal myth of Batman, this is practically a must-buy. TT Games has hit the mark once again, crafting a splendid and memorable declaration of love. We’re betting it will remain in the hearts of The Dark Knight fans for a long time to come.

While LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is what you expect from a LEGO action adventure game, kudos to TT Games for implementing Batman: Arkham quadrology mechanics in its retelling of the Batman mythos (albeit in all-ages family friendly form).
Lego Batman: Legacy of The Dark Knight stands out as not only the finest Lego game we've ever played but also ranks among the greatest Batman titles of all time. Featuring numerous Easter eggs, sharp humor, and some of the most impressive combat mechanics seen in a Lego game, Lego Batman: Legacy of The Dark Knight will undoubtedly be remembered as one of the most exceptional titles ever developed by TT Games.
LEGO Batman: The Dark Knight Legacy, despite some uncertainties, is without too many doubts the best LEGO game, and the greatest love letter, ever made by TT Games.

The LEGO Batman games have generally been good, but LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight takes things in a familiar yet new direction I hope we see more of, and across different properties. The improved combat feels weighty and impactful, yet whimsy as “CRACK!” and “POW!” pops up on-screen. The reverence for Batman by TT Games is truly felt, and is such a celebration of the character for nearly 90 years across comics, TV, and film. Legacy of the Dark Knight is the best LEGO Batman game to-date, but is also the best Batman game yet.
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is without a doubt the most ambitious and mature LEGO Batman game to date. TT Games combines a stunning open world, more in-depth combat and a loving tribute to Batman’s entire history into an adventure that will appeal to both fans and newcomers alike. The story isn’t always perfectly tight, but the charm, humour and sheer joy of playing more than make up for it. As far as I’m concerned, this is the surprise hit of 2026.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is the perfect love letter to the Caped Crusader, with fun gameplay, great writing, and tons of surprises every step of the way.
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is a witty, brilliantly affectionate celebration of Caped Crusader history that masterfully balances sharp satire with fluid, Arkham-inspired combat. While repetitive enemy waves, shallow stealth, and overly simplistic puzzles check its momentum, the vibrant Gotham open world offers an incredibly rich co-op value.
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is pure, unadulterated fun, delivering another excellent LEGO outing coated with the legacy of one of the most iconic comic book characters of all time.
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is a spectacular celebration of the Caped Crusader, masterfully blending the charm of plastic bricks with the thrill of Arkham-inspired combat. Driven by a breathtaking maximalist Gotham City and a deep respect for Batman's history, it delivers an immensely rewarding odyssey for fans of all generations.

Although Legacy of the Dark Knight did not reinvent the genre of “brick-built” games, it stands as undeniable proof of the decades of experience and brilliance that TT Games represents. This game is not merely a love letter to Batman, but to Batman’s legacy as well.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knights feels like the ultimate Batman fan game disguised as a LEGO title. TT Games somehow managed to capture everything that makes Batman such an iconic character, from the darker Gotham atmosphere and Arkham-inspired combat, right through to the humour, gadgets, and the ridiculous amount of fan service packed into every corner of the game. As someone who grew up obsessed with Batman, this honestly felt like stepping into a playable tribute to the Dark Knight’s entire legacy.
