LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Reviews
So if you're looking for your fix of Star Wars, Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens might keep you occupied. Unless you've played any game in the Lego series prior to this. Recommended for die-hard Star Wars fans and newcomers to Lego games only.
The ideal game for the LEGO geek or geekette and you are never too old to play with LEGO as it says on the box 4 - 99 years old.
The Force Awakens haven’t made a great change in the series but it has some new elements which are fun to try. If this is your first or second LEGO game, you will completely enjoy this but if you have played many LEGO games, you may get bored of using the same formula.

The series signature humour and gameplay fits perfectly with Star Wars, after all, it's what it was originally designed for! The new features add enough to keep this long-running franchise feeling fresh, the stages are short and fun, fitting perfectly to the handheld for pick up and put down gameplay. In conclusion: a great addition to TT Games' magnum opus.
With level breakdowns that make the long console levels more manageable, strong use of 3D, and some creative additions, the 3DS version of The Force Awakens delivers in a way that just barely edges out its console brethren.
Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens feels designed to quell even the loudest detractors of the Lego games. With increased level variety, new gameplay additions and excellent, original dialogue, the title gives Star Wars fans plenty of reasons to revisit the franchise.
LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens probably would have sold well enough on the license alone, but TT Games wasn't content to coast on this one. The company put its best foot forward, and players are the ones to benefit. I haven't had this much fun with a LEGO video game since LEGO The Hobbit. Even if you weren't completely impressed by some of the recent LEGO titles, give this one a go. LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens is well worth your time.
However minor the various issues may seem, LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens is a worthy addition to the LEGO Star Wars videogame franchise. Even though the gameplay mechanic feels a little bit dated, and is still susceptible to a plethora of mechanical glitches and rough controls, this latest adventure is a refreshing take on the ever-expanding galaxy that is Star Wars. With new locations and characters taken from the movie itself, with a booming soundtrack to back it up and plenty of humour thrown in, this LEGO adventure is a must-buy for any fans of either LEGO or Star Wars, and is definitely one that should be experienced with another player, if possible.
In the end, LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens is not a perfect game, but it is a very, very good one that does something the series has needed to do for quite some time: innovate
'The Force Awakens' is one of the better 'Lego Star Wars' in recent memory. TT is paying attention to players and throwing in more variety. Even if we've seen all of this variety before, it's very welcome in the 'Lego' world. If you haven't been a huge fan of the series to date, this might not change your mind, but the returning fans will find a lot of 'Star Wars' to do.
If you can overlook the often mediocre gameplay, there's plenty to enjoy in this funny and faithful interpretation of the movie.
While the story is a little linear and straightforward, the bonus missions make up for it with untold tales and new voicework. Like with seemingly every Lego game, if you're not into the source material, buyer beware. But if you're into Star Wars and want to relive the thrill of The Force Awakens, this is the best way to do so.
Slowly but surely, the LEGO series tries to evolve, yet still failing to overhaul its gameplay. After a LEGO Marvel's Avengers full of good intentions but ultimately disappointing, regarding the open world and dubbing, LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens offers a more coherent recipe. The semi-open world appears much more interesting thanks to sidequests, treasure and other things to find as well as more generally varied in environments. More rhythmic, a little nicer to look at, with the original music and voices, this title should appeal certainly fans of the saga as fans of the LEGO license.
LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens is not a LEGO game revolution, but the concept still works without issues. If you're tired of LEGO and Star Wars isn't your cup of tea, you should pass on this game.

LSWTFA is a fun, simple game with straight forward game mechanics that are a pleasure to play for fans, and many Lego veterans will be familiar with the game if they have played any other franchises under the lens of Lego.
LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens is still a very solid game, with a lot of appeal for fans of action games looking to have some fun without having to learn a bunch of systems or battle an overly challenging difficulty curve. If you are a fan of the Star Wars source material? All the better - you will likely enjoy your time with the game even more. I applaud the team for doing some unique things with the game to try and change the pacing up and offer new systems to the players, though some of the innovations work better than others. Still, there is an undeniable charm to the classic gameplay, humorous situations and outstanding overall presentation both visually and from the voice actors.
"LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens lures you in with all the charm of BB-8 while offering you the chance to engage in the roles of so many of the series much beloved characters, a childhood dream for most players".
Older players will generally be interested in what The Force Awakens has to offer when it comes to humor. Just like the LEGO movie, the game takes the story already familiar from the movie and mostly follows it, but "twists" it just enough to make it funny, entertaining, and with a few mature jokes to appeal to the older audience.
With a series edging closer to becoming stale with each release, new gameplay elements help both evolve and freshen up the series and above all else, this game is so much fun!
Good wholesome fun that fans of LEGO, Star Wars or co-op can happily enjoy.
