I am convinced, thanks to REZ Infinite and PlayStation VR, that I finally tried the real REZ, that is, what Tetsuya Mizuguchi had in his head as a "giappomatto" when he poured the 250 MB of data (about) that made up the first version of the game on the disc for PlayStation 2. It's a title that can also be used on a TV but, believe me, find a Sony helmet at any cost and try it in VR: you won't regret it.

In the end, is Rez Infinite to be classified in the category of lazy ports to enlarge a line-up or does it really justify going back to the checkout? Without hesitation, we put it in the second. Rez Infinite is the best game on PlayStation VR right now. It is simply the perfect example of what virtual reality can bring to traditional games that you know and love. To the VR naysayers, hold this game into their face and tell them to shut it. It looks and sounds gorgeous, plays brilliantly and for just £24.99 is an absolute must-buy.
Rez Infinite is the latest in the continued evolution of Rez. One can hardly call it a sequel, because a large core is made up of Rez and Rez HD content, but Area X proves that the game can evolve without the original content becoming stale or irrelevant. With or without PlayStation VR, Rez Infinite is an incredible revival of a classic best, but given the choice, I’d much prefer to immerse myself with the headset on my head, finding the ultimate incarnation of Rez’s synesthesia in virtual reality.
Lovingly remade in high definition and enhanced via optional PlayStation VR support, Rez Infinite crystallises, polishes and preserves Rez's legacy, making it an essential purchase for PSVR adopters and standard PS4 owners alike. The untethered 3D-cyberspace of Area X presents a tantalising vision of the IP's potential future and adds an extra layer to what is undoubtedly the definitive edition of Mizuguchi's masterpiece.
Rez is an on-rails shooter that shines due to its unique auditory and visual design. Rez has aged well, and the added immersion of VR makes a great game even better.
With or without PlayStation VR, Rez Infinite is a great game that can be loved by fans of shooters on rails or by anyone willing to have a different experience that responds to a series of sensory stimuli that make you not only enjoy the game , but also feel it. Rez Infinite is still as mesmerizing and enjoyable as it has been in the versions we've seen in the past, but it takes advantage of current-gen hardware to present itself with the best audio and visuals it has been able to achieve.

To believe that Rez Infinite had been thought for virtual reality. Already very addictive when you play it in a classic way on a TV, where it appears slightly boosted compared to the 360 version, the game of Tetsuya Mizuguchi is transcended when using the PlayStation VR. This electro trip becomes all the more accessible and natural and tickles our senses as it should to create a slight addiction to the sensations provided, very pure and downright sublime in Zone X mode.

One of the merits of PlayStation VR, beyond anything, is the fact that it brought Rez's great HD re-release to PS4. If you have never had the opportunity to try this milestone of the video game, you can buy the title even without having the viewer, sure to rediscover an ageless masterpiece. However, the ability to play with the headset is more than welcome. The gaming experience gains in terms of engagement, and the addition of Area X gives us a glimpse of how current, magnetic and wonderful Rez's formula still is. The hope is that this unprecedented level is just the starting point for an experience sewn around the potential of PlayStation VR.

The death of the Dreamcast. The birth of PlayStation VR. Rez's singular orbit stays outside of a mercurial industry and remains as powerful and as relevant as it was fifteen years ago. By its architecture and through its nature, there isn't a time when Rez won't be beautiful. PlayStation VR, as it happens now, is the best way to experience it in 2016.
Rez Infinite complements PlayStation VR tremendously. Ought it be in the collection of every PS VR owner? Probably not.
Rez Infinite is a must-have game for anyone with a PSVR, but even if you don’t it is still the best way to experience a beloved classic title. The unique gameplay found in Rez Infinite is enhanced by the incredible art style, which is something that you don’t see in recently released games.
Even with its relatively short playtime Rez Infinite is a game that is a must own for PlayStation VR owners.

Rez Infinite shows that the original gameplay still stands the test of time, now with added VR support and the cool Area X level. The asking price feels a bit high however, especially if you don't plan to use VR or already have Rez HD.
Playable with or without PSVR, Rez Infinite is a fantastic game that deserves a spot in your PS4 game collection regardless of whether or not you’ve played a previous version of it.
Still a unique game after 15 years of being released, and this version adds new modes and a level that is closer to a preview of a potential sequel. For those looking for a fast paced and challenging game, with equality quick and unique graphics and sound, this is a great game with VR as well as without it.
