Overall, the LEGO Harry Potter Collection represents a true nostalgia operation. If it has been a while since you last played the original games or you were too young to do so, then - especially for the latter - this is as much of a must-buy as ever. This Collection, doesn't change the cards much compared to the original 2010 bundle and the 2016 remastered, but the additional refinements in terms of graphics and performance are there guaranteeing - therefore - an experience (following the entire narrative arc of the saga) further refined and really enjoyable to live (or relive) for hours and hours of fun, free of bugs, glitches and very fluid thanks to the 60fps to say the least granitic.

I really don't know who needed this remaster. Although, granted, they are good games.

While the improvements are noticeable, it isn’t pushing visual limits or providing groundbreaking gameplay, the LEGO Harry Potter Collection is incredibly good, and this remaster doesn’t disappoint. With its charming visuals, witty humor, and expansive environments to explore, the collection successfully captures the magic of the Wizarding World so many fell in love with, making it a perfect title to revisit or discover for the first time. LEGO Harry Potter Collection offers an enchanting and engaging experience for all ages.

When it comes to the video game itself, it still feels somewhat outdated compared to current LEGO video games, such as the Skywalker saga, which is still available on Xbox Game Pass. But when you pick up the controller, a smile immediately appears on your face as soon as you start casting your first spells.

Undoubtedly, the package is designed for those who have never been able to enjoy the original works, as well as for fans of titles with the famous Danish bricks as protagonists. For everyone else, the product may not be very appealing, all the more so when compared to current LEGO productions, from which the wizardry necessarily differs in its mechanics and general offering.

The two-game LEGO Harry Potter Collection offers great value for those wanting to relive the young wizard’s brick-based adventures on Nintendo Switch. It’s practically bursting with content, but the improvements offer little more to those that have experienced their magic and charm before.

Nine years may have passed since LEGO Harry Potter first released, but the games still feel as fresh and enjoyable as when they debuted. If you didn't know that LEGO Harry Potter Collection was a remaster, it would be easy to mistake it for a new release. The only real downside has to do with those who own the original Xbox 360 games. Since they've been withheld from BC, if you want to replay these on the Xbox One, you'll have to buy the LEGO Harry Potter Collection.

For anyone out there who is a fan of Harry Potter, LEGO, and videogames, LEGO Harry Potter Collection just might be the safest bet imaginable. Both titles within are overflowing with Traveller's Tales' affection for charming production values and easily-accessible gameplay, and Xbox One's enhanced frame-rate and resolution breathes new life into what was already a lovingly-crafted world. The formula does wear itself thin at times, and players might even feel like they're just going through the motions, yet it's doubtful that they'll ever regret their days spent at LEGO Hogwarts.

Having two whole games worth of content can also be seen as a double-edged sword depending on how you feel about repetition and collectibles. In short, it’s another solid Lego game with all the good and bad that come with the franchise

LEGO Harry Potter doesn't bring anything new to the LEGO-formula, but the Harry Potter world is still great. Characters feel unique even though casting spells isn't always fun. Thanks to the music and coop you'll forget about that quickly though.

With a friendly approach to gaming, a warm sense of humor, and lots of content, the HP Collection is a good investment for younger and/or less accomplished gamers.

A return to Hogwarts to relive Harry Potter’s school years, this remaster features an enjoyable adventure for fans who haven’t taken this trip before. Though the games are still fun to play, the experience doesn’t offer anything new (other than updated graphics) from the original releases. While the Harry Potter movie world keeps expanding, game fans get a rehash, which is something of a downer. If you haven’t played the Lego Harry Potter games before, this is a great package in terms of value and sheer amount of gameplay. Otherwise, it would be better to play one of the newer releases in the franchise.

Lego Harry Potter Collection for the Nintendo Switch is a nice, complete edition to the Switch's library. It being an eight-year-old port, the game does lack some of the conveniences we've come to enjoy in modern day Lego games.

After all is said and done, the LEGO Harry Potter Collection really is a fun game and with this being the definitive collection, it is the best way to play. Of course, you can get this on Xbox One or PS4, but you can only take the Switch version with you when you go see the next Fantastic Beasts film.
