Sniper Elite 4 Reviews
Sniper Elite 4 performs well overall on the Nintendo Switch and provides an opportunity to play the game on the go. There are no noticeable technical issues, and shooting enemy soldiers with perfectly-placed lung shots is still enjoyable. The Joy-Cons are not ideal for lining up each shot due to the twitchy nature, but they don't hold back an overly enjoyable experience.
Sniper Elite 4 is going to be a favorite for those who love shooting through a rifle scope. It cleverly injected strategy and cooperative play to suit its crowd. Unless you’re specifically looking for some sniping action and are able to play in high difficulty mode, Sniper Elite 4 can wait.
Now and then I love a good stealth game and that is what I have today. Sniper Elite 4 combines stealth gameplay with being a sniper very well, and I believe that this is also a wonderful port. So how does this game manage that? Let’s find out.
Sniper Elite 4 is a title that will appeal to both casual players and fans of the genre, especially those who prefer stealth. The Switch port has some visual problems that take away some of the charm, but the gameplay experience is good. The game is not a Triple A, but it achieves the same quality as one.

Rebellion keeps impressing me with how well they’ve been able to port their more hardware demanding games for the Switch. Sniper Elite 4 is, without a doubt, their best title in the platform so far. It features great visuals, a surprisingly stable framerate, and the best level design in the series so far.
I had tons of fun with this game and found myself often going back into the previous missions to try and find the collectibles or simply do the mission a little better, whilst this may seem standard for a lot of players it has been a long while since a game has provided me with such levels of fun and variety that had me crawling back for more.
If you are a fan of Sniper Elite franchise, you've already played and finished it. If you are not -like me- you should give it a try, for it offers a unique open-world sniping/stealth fun.
Sniper Elite is one of the best stealth action shooters. In this instalment we have wider range of movements, the mechanics are refined and we can actually finish every single level guns blazing. For the first time there is no need for stealth if we don't appreciate silence.

There’s a great feeling of risk and reward to Sniper Elite 4; you can take risky shots and clear entire maps with just your sniper or you can take on a full battalion assault with a scavenged MP40. With impressive depth and more to do than any other war time shooter in current memory, I would highly recommend the game to anyone.
An excellent Sniping game. There’s stealth approaches as well as full firefights depending on how you approach tasks. The game also allows you to customize your experience as needed.
As you might expect, sniping is the most entertaining way to play the game, whether you’re pulling off a tricky shot, executing a plan to perfection or scoring a troublingly satisfying X-Ray killcam (and seeing a Nazi’s testicles explode in slow motion). Though the game also deserves praise for the huge number of alternative options at your disposal, which plays into the excellent level design that does a great job letting you put these options to use.
Although the title presents some flaws, especially at the IA level and at the level of graphics, care and movements, it is globally still enjoyable, finding its space within the world of online sniping.

Sniper Elite 4 is a great sequel to Rebellion's franchise, which fixes a bunch of defects from the past game. The AI, although not totally perfect has its own surprises, and Italy as a war field allows us to discover new and diverse environments. Accessible to everyone, Sniper Elite can be seen as a game for some or a real shooting simulation for those who will play without aim assistance, and this new episode will be another great experience to try.
Sniper Elite 4 is a blast when you're in its sweet spot, tagging enemies and dispatching them from a distance. Unfortunately, it's dragged down by otherwise bad gunplay, a mediocre story, and poor voice acting. If you just want to shoot Nazis from a distance, you'll have a good time though.
Sniper Elite 4 improves on the right parts and offers new gameplay-possibilities for Stealth-Action combined with a thoughtful enemy AI. Only the story of the game doesn't convinced us that much and the multiplayer-part definitely needs more players to lower the waiting time.

Vast and well-designed areas are the foundation for fun hide-and-seek games and voyeuristic executions masked in WWII attire.

Not only am I a pretty big fan of Rebellion, but so is most of the staff here as back in 2014 Chris gave Sniper Elite 3 an excellent 8 out of 10 and a year later nearly every member here at CGR was able to get in on the action of slaying zombie Nazis in the Zombie Army Trilogy. Fun fact, I am so incredibly "zombie'ed out" that I actively avoid anything to do with them … except for Zombie Army Trilogy. When Sniper Elite 4 was first announced I could not wait; not only did I want to get back into the action to revisit World War II from a sniper's perspective, but I was itching for some good old fashioned cooperative play. Few titles in this day and age have engaging cooperative campaigns and much to my excitement, Sniper Elite 4 continues the excellent trend that Rebellion set in years past. Sniper Elite 4 is a fantastic example of how to refresh a franchise while staying true to its roots.
Rebellion dreht an den richtigen Stellschrauben und bietet ein äußerst gutes Spielerlebnis im schicken Italien des Jahres 1943.

This is definitely a brutal and beautiful shooter that takes the aspect of sniping to new heights.
Without question, Sniper Elite 4 marks a high point for Rebellions’ stealth-shooter series. The game’s excellent main campaign provides a great mix of stealth action and the franchise’s trademark sniping shenanigans.
