It may not be the purist's choice, but for pure enjoyment it cannot be beaten. Everybody's Golf is everything I wanted from the return of the series.
Everybody's Golf is a great game for those who want to relax and hit the virtual links. The game provides a good challenge that increases slightly as you progress. The beautiful graphics and calming soundtrack make the world more engaging and serene. The extra activities such as golf cart driving and fishing add to the already high replayability. If you're a fan of the Hot Shots series, you'll definitely want to pick this up.
Everybody's Golf was exactly what I was looking for in a relaxing, yet fun game. It has the makings of a great arcade golf game and some pretty nice longevity with the online mode.
How it has been allowed for Everybody's Golf to exist on PlayStation is beyond anyone's comprehension, but may Sony continue to get away with this tomfoolery for another twenty years because it's simply a pleasure to have Everybody's Golf on PS4. Accessible for all ages, play styles and ability, this is a game that is the closest thing a player is going to get to being gently hugged whilst holding a DualShock.
Over six months after it's launch, I still play Everybody's Golf regularly as I slowly move towards unlocking a new Platinum trophy for my collection – It's everything I wanted it to be and a little more. Clap Hanz really outdid themselves on this title.
Polished arcade golfer that every PlayStation 4 owner should have in their library.
With Everybody's Golf, Clap Hanz resumes its position at the top of the virtual golf genre, delivering a title that preserves the beautiful, deceptively technical core gameplay they've refined over the past two decades, with a number of new tweaks and online offerings to keep the series feeling fresh and relevant.
Players are able to customize their characters appearance with unlockable parts from body shape, to clothing, to the animation style they use during the game.
If mini golf elements, playfulness were upsized and applied to full scale courses.
Not every single aspect of Everybody's Golf hits the mark, but so, so much of it does. It gets the most important parts right, and I'm hopeful we'll see some quality-of-life updates and advanced control options before long to help close the gap. Clap Hanz has dreamed up a wonderfully warmhearted game, one I encourage every would-be golfer to consider picking up.
This is very much more Everybody's Golf with a few extra brush strokes and a overtly pleasant online portion to round it out. The result of that is easily the best version of the game to date, and with a good price point and welcoming structure, it's a fine place to visit for a few holes.
With a low barrier to entry and a high skill ceiling, charming design, and reasons to play for a long time, Everybody's Golf really is golf for everybody. What? You were expecting a hole-in-one pun?
With Everybody's Golf, Clap Hanz gives longtime fans and newcomers plenty of reason to hit the links, even if it doesn't quite live up to all its promise.
Everybody's Golf is a surprisingly deep and fulfilling game. It offers a decent amount of content, and while it might look quirky and cartoonish, it offers a solid digital golfing experience.
Everybody’s Golf is a game that can eat up your time if you enjoy golf. It’s just so interesting and fascinating that I didn’t even notice that I’ve been playing the game for so long. I would recommend this game if you need a game to just relax and have a chill experience.
Everybody’s Golf is a worthy addition to the series and a welcome addition to the PS4 library. If you want a game for when you have ten minutes to spare, or one in which you can challenge yourself as you seek to set better scores on the leaderboards, look no further.
Catering to both the casual and simulation golfer, Everybody's Golf strikes a nice balance of fun and challenge. There are plenty of things to keep you busy and the game is especially fun in couch co-op with friends. If you don't mind the arcade graphics and presentation, Everybody's Golf is sure to bring hours of fun and is a worthy successor to Hot Shots in every way.
Sony's long-running golf series hits a birdie in its feature-rich PlayStation 4 debut.
