The marriage between the Warriors and Fire Emblem franchises has yielded one of the deepest and most engaging games the Warriors series has done to date.

Fire Emblem Warriors pays tribute to the most recent 3DS titles that helped the series take off in recent years.

Fire Emblem Warriors is, for my mind, the best of the licensed Warriors titles. It was Arslan previously, and I really love Arslan still, but the respect that Fire Emblem Warriors has for its roots, and the way that it's cleverly melded the tactical atmosphere of that series while keeping the pacey action of the Warriors formula, is truly impressive stuff.

A solid, all-around enjoyable game that is simply really, really good fun.

Fire Emblem Warriors is one of the best designed musou games of the recent years thanks to its strategy touch, which is great for this genre. Even though its story is a little bit dull, de Chronicles mode offers lots of objectives and battles that last hours and hours.

Fire Emblem Warriors might stand as one of the greatest Musou collaborations to hit the market. Great care was taken in incorporating both gameplay systems to create a thrilling and fun game to play. Yet it is so upsetting that where the combat rises above expectations, the menus felt like an afterthought. While that is annoying, Fire Emblem Warriors is still a hell of a time.

While the story isn’t as tight as you’d expect from a major Fire Emblem game the over the top shonen style battles and mixed cast definitely put together a fine show. I can definitely suggest the game to any fan of either series.

Fire Emblem Warriors uses some of the least interesting characters in the series and somehow creates some of the most fun I've had all year.

If you hate the musou games, Fire Emblem Warriors will hardly make you change your mind about the genre, but for everyone else it's a strongly recommended game thanks to its tactical and strategic elements.

Wonderful fusion of Musou and Fire Emblem, that is superbly balanced and very extensive.

Fire Emblem Warriors may not have the most original story, however the gameplay works well, particularly if you like the musō genre. Koei Tecmo have also done an excellent job at bringing this genre to the Nintendo Switch and if you're looking for a game to absorb all your spare time, Fire Emblem Warriors is definitely that game!

Fire Emblem Warriors turned out to be a genuine surprise that I thoroughly enjoyed. It's the best Warriors game yet.

The malleable quality of Fire Emblem's weapons-triangle and pairing systems make them a natural fit for the hack n' slash genre. Even when I could barely tell what was going on on the crowded battlefield and my troops were a little too codependent, I enjoyed directing the action and jumping in to be part of the carnage. And while Fire Emblem Warriors makes poor use of the Fire Emblem universe's story and history, we still get traces of the relationships between the characters that make it memorable.

Like its Hyrulean brethren, Fire Emblem Warriors is a joyous action packed romp through hordes of faceless enemies in the company of some well-loved characters and all the trappings of a Fire Emblem game. It's not going to convince anyone who's unsure about the well-worn Warriors template, and it's far from being a technical showcase for the Switch, but it is raw, unadulterated fun packed with bags of fan service.

Not just a great game to bear the Fire Emblem name but also one of the best Warriors games out there.

The large-scale combat of Dynasty Warriors collides with the heroes and tactics-heavy gameplay of Fire Emblem in a wonderful venture filled with action and ample fan service.

Fire Emblem Warriors is a very fun game marred by a only few issues, some of which were probably unavoidable. The basic hack-and-slash gameplay is as solid and polished as any Warriors game, and the new innovations based on the Fire Emblem series add a lot. The game honestly feels like Fire Emblem almost as much as it feels like a Warriors game. If you're a classic Fire Emblem fan like me, don't let the roster keep you from buying the game. If you like Dynasty Warriors but don't know Fire Emblem, there's still plenty to enjoy here.

Fire Emblem Warriors is superb. It successfully translates the beloved RPG series without sacrificing any elements for which I have adored the series. With countless characters, a robust upgrade system and plenty of modes on offer, you'll sink hours into this stylish hack ‘n' slasher without even knowing it.

Fire Emblem Warriors does a better job of blending two disparate series than Hyrule Warriors did. Fire Emblem's ethos remains intact, perfectly accentuating, and enhancing Warrior's' patented hack-and-slash gameplay.
