Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom Reviews
Ni no Kuni II is easily one of the best RPGs on the PS4 and PC. A masterpiece that needs to be played by everyone, regardless if you like RPGs or not.
Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom is a charming and beautiful game that is just as much fun to play as it is to look at.
Much like the first game, Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom is easily one of the best games out in 2018 and a strong contender for Game of the Year. Not only is it an improvement over the predecessor, it stands out among other recent JRPGs. From an amazing and intriguing coming-of-age story, to a battle system that is simple and fun, giving players plenty to experience. In so many ways Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom is a must for fans and newcomers alike.
Absolutely recommended.
Ni No Kuni II tells a nice fairy tale with an iconic Ghibli art style. But the combat system is not good enough, and the design of side quests need some second thoughts.

High spirits and breezy gameplay punctuate a sequel that doesn’t quite hit the highs of its stellar predecessor and squanders some of the potential of its various systems while still making for an enjoyable adventure
Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom delivers plenty of charming moments
Ni no Kuni II managed to capture the charm and wonder that keeps RPG fans coming back to the table. Stylistically, the game manages to balance cute and serious for an all around fun ride. Surprising depth of gameplay will give completionists plenty to explore. Easy access to core features allow more casual players to enjoy most of the game as well. Level-5 does a tremendous job with optimization as well, avoiding the typical RPG pitfalls of long lectures and load screens.
Ni No Kuni 2 is an astonishing adventure, one of the most beautiful and funny action jRPG from the last years.

Ni No Kuni II is full of some tremendously creative decisions that make this unlike many other Japanese RPGs, as well as a clear step above an already good game in the original Ni No Kuni. However, some additions like the RTS elements left me scratching my head. Despite this, Ni No Kuni II tells a beautiful story that's set in an even more beautiful world, and should be enjoyed by most JRPG fans.
[Review in progress] 7 hours in and this game is addictive and rewarding in a way that suggests there will few other games this year that can compete. It is as if Level-5 have put everything they have done in a cauldron and magically created this incredible RPG.
Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom is a wholesome, delightful adventure that any fan of traditional JRPGs would be wise to jump into.
Overall, Ni No Kuni 2 accomplishes what it sets out to do: It's a fun but deep fantasy world with heroes who remind us there is good in the world and villains who remind us that sometimes the worst-seeming people are just… misguided.
Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom is a truly magical experience oozing in charm and fantasy. The game is a worthy sequel that surpasses the original.
Adorable graphics, a lively world, a perfectly orchestrated musical score, and charming gameplay all culminate to make Ni no Kuni II feel like playing a gorgeous anime.
The main cast, the plot, the music, and the visual styles will be memorable for years to come.
Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom is a special JRPG. It doesn't show its magic immediately but after a few hours, you'll see the full potential. The disappointing fact is that it delivers a combination of amazing features that's never been done before together, but it struggles in the obvious areas like side quests and level design.
