Gear Club's march of unlocking and upgrading is more fun than the racing itself, making for an uneven experience

Aside from sub-par sound design, Gear.Club Unlimited offers up an outstanding racing experience for Switch. It straddles the line nicely between offering up a sim-infused experience while keeping the on-track action fast and exciting. The amount of racing types available is impressive and the sense of progression makes it easy for a quick play session to turn into a marathon.

Gear.Club Unlimited is a highly entertaining racing game that sits firmly at the casual end of the realistic racer spectrum.

The Unlimited May mean that Gear.Club isn't shackled by monetisation, but the only real thing that will not be unlimited here is your patience.

A racing game with a lot of potencial that conforms with being just a port of a mobile game, instead of a complete experience that takes advantage of Nintendo Switch's potential.

Gear.Club Unlimited is not a very good game. It's not a bad game by any stretch of the imagination, but not even it's impressive car visuals can save it from being just an incredibly average racing game. It honestly feels like there was no love put into this game. At $49.99 I simply cannot recommend this game at the current price tag. The title still feels like a free-to-play game you would find on the Apple App Store more than a fully fledged game, and frankly, that's all it's worth to me.

Gear.Club Unlimited is a very serious bet for the driving games on Nintendo Switch. Its story mode features a huge amount of races and guarantees lots of hours of entertainment. More than 15 brands of the best cars await for the fans of the genre that own a Switch. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

A racing game that loses its strengths and motivations in the transition from mobile to Switch.

Gear.Club Unlimited is the most budget game with an outdated graphics and monotonous music and tracks, which mistakenly sold for 3000 rubles. Honestly, there is no real reason that will force you to buy this game. If you have a Switch, then it's better to pay attention to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe or Fast RMX, which look and play many times better. Or you should try DiRT4, Project CARS 2, Forza Motorsport 7 or Gran Turismo Sport on other platforms.

Gear.Club Unlimited could have been yet another gem on the Switch, but ultimately feels like exactly what it is. The price tag is shocking and the changes from the mobile game don't fit the pace of the core experience. While there are moments of fun to be had, this racing game rarely ends up feeling worth the investment.

As long as you don't take the “Serious racing on Switch!” pitch too seriously, you'll have a lot of fun with Gear.Club Unlimited. This is an engaging, retro arcade racer with a rewarding structure that puts bigger-name games to shame. I've reviewed most of this season's major racers, including Gran Turismo Sport and Need for Speed Payback, and I can honestly say Gear.Club Unlimited was the most entertaining of the bunch. Gear up for a good time, Switch owners.

Gear.Club Unlimited won't pry people away from Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and it certainly can't compete with the Forza and Gran Turismo's out there but there still is some fun to be had. I came away disappointed but I can acknowledge that Eden Games has done a decent job in bringing a realistic racing experience to the Switch.

Just passable arcade racer with licensed race cars, that you can note its Free2Play Origins.

Given the severe lack of other options, Gear.Club Unlimited is perfectly serviceable racing experience, especially with its split-screen multiplayer option. The racing itself is enjoyable, if a little easy, and the upgrade system prompts you to think strategically about what to upgrade and when, but it struggles to escape its mobile roots.

If Gear.Club Unlimited can't compete with games like Forza Motorsport or GranTurismo and isn't as fun as a Mario Kart, it's good enough to be considered as a good way to entertain players in need of driving games on Nintendo Switch.

Gear.Club Unlimited is the most traditional racer to hit the Switch, and a successful outing for Microïds / Eden Games Mobile The graphics, although not as slavish to accurate detail like in a Gran Turismo title, still manage to hold their own, and are crisp and enjoyable.

Gear.Club Unlimited appears to try and deliver to every type of racing fan, but appears to ultimately disappoint all of them. With a positively massive amount of content, there is sure to be something that will delight you, but the real question is – will your interest last long enough?

he Nintendo Switch doesn’t allow for too many racing games to shine with the well-regarded Mario Kart 8 Deluxe hogging the spotlight. But Gear.Club Unlimited is stealing the limelight this holiday season with its racing sim action, RPG-lite upgrade system and beautifully rendered licensed cars. Although it’s not a true racing sim, this is still the best racing game available on the Nintendo Switch to date.
