Moss Reviews
Moss builds a world and draws you into it with gusto, confidently using some of the best visuals and art direction I've ever seen on Playstation VR. Despite this, technological limitations of the control scheme hold it back from being truly great. New developer Polyarc are on to something special here, utilizing VR ingeniously to provide satisfying puzzles and tense platforming, though it's a crying shame that it's over much too soon.
Moss is one of the very first surprises of 2018 for PlayStation VR owners, a little big adventure filled with puzzles brilliantly designed, that put its focus on the main character, a little rat, that moves around levels designed as doll houses. It's biggest flaw it's that it's a very short game, but one you will embrace and love for a long time.

Moss really has something for everyone. Adventure, combat, puzzles, friendship, and even the world itself. The narration is spot on and just pulls you in and not wanting to look back, but yet somehow makes you remember the beauty of what you and Quill already have. When a game is played in VR it allows us to escape, but when that game allows us to escape within the escape, that is something special. It just goes to show that sometimes the biggest heroes come in the smallest packages.
There are multiple layers to this beautiful VR title that truly makes the game a joy to play through. The idea of bonding with the protagonist as another character, while helping her solve puzzles in a fantasy world is endearing and plucked at my heartstrings.
Moss is undoubtedly one of the best PlayStation VR games available. This little tale is absolutely charming, from beginning to end, and it offers a both interesting and perfectly balanced gameplay. Too bad it ends so quickly, after 3 or 4 hours of play, with a frustrating "to be continued"... We had such a good time ! An enchantment you still have to live, if you're equipped with Sony's virtual reality headset.

Moss is easily one of the better PlayStation VR titles and a must for anyone who loves cute animals, puzzle games or just want to see how PlayStation VR can enhance traditional experiences. That being said, keep in mind that it isn’t the longest adventure and offers little to no replay value. If these things aren’t a problem for you, then you can’t go wrong with Moss
In a medium consumed by flash and artificiality, Moss presents a mature and genuine alternative.
PSVR has found its champion, its poster child. Quill is so happy to have you join her on this journey, and the camaraderie you two create is unforgettable.
Simply put. if you have PSVR then you need to have this game, if you don’t have a PSVR, then this maybe is the kick you need to buy one. Amazing.
Short but irresistibly sweet, Moss may just be one of the best reasons for you to pick up a VR headset.
A terrifically executed, endearingly cute and thoroughly immersive romp, even if its disappointing brevity may leave you both craving and expecting more.
Moss in an amazing adventure that any PSVR owners should try. The first game from Polyarc Games is an inspiring fairytale that allows you to create a connection with its protagonist Quill and experience a good mix of puzzle, exploration and storytelling in a beautiful world you won't wanna leave anymore.

If you need a reason to buy a PSVR headset, then use Moss as that reason. It may not be perfect, but it's easily one of the best and most memorable VR experiences to date.
Moss' developer understand how to implement VR technology to their game. What we got is a great platformer with charming, fairy tale-themed setting which uses PS VR to create unique fantasy atmosphere.

Moss made a wonderful first impression and never let up. Spending four hours with Quill in this VR world was a joy, and no one element or environment type wears out its welcome. Its mix of combat and puzzles hooked me quickly, always kept things fresh, and left me wanting more.
Moss is not so much a game as it is an experience. Polyarc sets an immensely high bar for storytelling in VR, exuding careful and deliberate artistry in every aspect — sound design, lighting, camera, visuals — to create a world worthy of straining your back to see the area in 360 degrees. In every sense, I felt like I was inside one of those beautiful, gilded storybooks. The only thing missing was the smell of the forest and old paper.
The PlayStation VR deserves to be thought of as a whole separate platform, and thus far that platform has been lacking in the killer games to sell it. This is the first must-have release to arrive; something truly special. Moss is an absolutely phenomenal experience; completely captivating, utterly endearing, and absolutely magical. Ghibli fans will find this closer to the works of the legendary studio than the Ni No Kuni games. Best of all, it finishes on a promise of more adventures to come and, like a bibliophile desperate for that next book, players will be left desperately wanting the next chapter in this story.
If you own a PSVR it’s a no-brainer, Moss is an absolute must play title. It may very well be the highest quality, most polished game available on the platform. It makes smart use of the PSVR system and it’s characters, combat and cleverly designed puzzles will leave you craving more when the credits begin to roll.
Moss is one of the best VR games on the market, and at the moment simply the best puzzle of 2018.

A short but lovely jump and run adventure that makes you ask for more of the same. For those who hungered for some good VR gaming, this is a must buy. For anyone else, the 30€ might be a bit steep for just 3 hours of story.
