No matter how much we want to go back to the days when things were simple, all we really have left is nostalgia.
Cute dragon Spyro is back and he is still playful and amusing.

It might not be as famous as Crash Bandicoot or as well made as the Nintendo 64's finest, but this still a gorgeous remake of a classic series offered at an attractive price.

Activition managed to deliver a quite perfect platformer game with remastering Crash trilogy, now Spyro Reignited Trilogy continues this trend of reviving of old series. This could be an alert for companies like Nintendo that have the opportunity to remaster their old gems.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy is the best way to experience the original Spyro the Dragon trilogy, two decades after the first entry was released. The games on offer were never major classics, of course, and their heavy collect-athon nature won't appeal to everyone. The new, upgraded version is simply beautiful, making the originals look even older than they truly are, so Spyro fans will simply love this… as long as they have the patience to endure 30-second-long loading times (or more).
Spyro Reignited Trilogy is a lovingly crafted experience that is bound to satisfy anyone who was a kid during the era of 90’s mascot platformers. It’s a joyous and relaxing experience that made me smile at almost every turn.
Overall, I think anyone who's a fan of Spyro, or 3D platformers in general, should pickup the Spyro Reignited Trilogy. Despite a few flaws, the games still play quite well today and, in my opinion, are well worth a playthrough
Spyro: Reignited Trilogy lives on contrasts. We can be Spyro whenever we want with the portability and a lot of content to experience with a great control system. But also we cannot deny that the portability was payed with lot of technical compromises, that weren't even enough to give the game a costant fluidity. Perhaps it's only to those who have only Switch as a current-gen console.

Spyro: Reignited Trilogy is a dream come true, a full remake that surpasses all expectations.
Nostalgia is a tricky thing in that it tends to be a liar more often than not.
A ridiculously handsome, pitch-perfect remastered trilogy that no Spyro fan should miss
A relaxing jaunt back into the classic world of 3D platformers.
It's a faithful and fun remaster, although it doesn't push the boat out in any way.
Style and substance make Spyro: Reignited Trilogy an incredibly compelling package, for fans and newcomers alike.
Spyro Reignited Trilogy is a solid remaster for those looking to play as gaming's most famous purple dragons.
Spyro Reignited Trilogy is a faithful recreation of the original three Spyro games for current gen consoles. Toys for Bob was able to get the look and feel of Spyro down while adding a cherry on top bundling it all together and creating a new and improved soundtrack.
Reignited is a very well done remaster and was well worth the time and effort put in by the developers. Everything looks, feels, and sounds as if it could have come out this year as a brand new game. All three games are fun though the first and second are the strongest entries in the series. As platformers go these games aren't incredibly challenging, but there are some spots which can be fairly difficult especially when trying to 100% the games.
Toys for Bob has done an exemplary job of bringing Spyro into 2018, and we hope to see Activision continue to experiment with remasters like this and Crash.
Spyro Reignited Trilogy is pretty much all you could hope for in a remake. It feels like a modern version of the originals, at least as best that they could be, without too many dated elements to hold it back. While I would argue it didn't age as flawlessly as one could hope, you get an absurd amount of bang for your buck and the ability to take it on the go is hard to argue with. So, if you want to have a blast from the past, look no further than Spyro Reignited Trilogy.
