All in all, Mega Man 11 is a pretty good game, despite the number of glaring flaws. I urge all of you to try it out for yourselves and grab a copy if you wish to see what the Blue Bomber has new in store.

The legendary Mega Man is back and continues the fight against the evil Dr. Wily. Mega Man 11 offers a lot of enjoyment, whether via the story mode or catchy challenges.

Yet what it lacks in ambition is made up by tight platforming and riveting boss fights — a homage to its more pixelated past Mega fans are sure to enjoy.

All in all, I rather enjoyed Mega Man 11, and feel it was worth the long wait. But I have a proviso. I love pretty much everything about this game, but I think it proves Capcom has no more excuses to wait more than two years before the next one. They still know how to make a great Mega Man game, and they can plainly see there is still plenty of demand for them. For $29.99, fans can’t really go wrong with this. It isn’t perfect, and I feel the Double Gear system was a bit half-assed, but it does so many other things right that it’s hard to complain. If you’ve been waiting for a new Mega Man game, or just want a great platformer, you can’t go wrong. Nice to see Mighty No. 9 did one thing right.

If you love the classic mega man games there’s a lot for you to love here in Mega Man 11. It retains much of what made the earlier Mega Man games so great while also providing something fresh to move the series forward with it’s visual upgrade and introduction of the Double Gear system. If you’re a fan of challenging platformers I’d highly recommend giving it a try.

As a long-time fan of Mega Man ever since the 8-bit days, I'm happy that Mega Man 11 retains a lot of what makes the series special.

One specific comparison that stuck with me is that the stages are significantly longer, but I also found some of them more memorable and engaging than ones from previous Mega Man games. With Mega Man 11, Capcom is catering to new players and hardened veterans, and satisfies both to a degree, but it will likely disappoint some players, too. It might not be the Mega Man game we need, but on October 2 it will be the one we get.

Despite being one of the oldest brands in the industry, the Mega Man saga has not offered many innovations since its first chapter's debut. Mega Man 11 follows this pattern by offering a great and very difficult gameplay, flawed by the lack of significant new features. If you loved the previous chapters you will definitely like the new one, but if you were looking for some new ideas and a better looking graphics you should try the demo before you buy the full game.

Mega Man 11 is one of the rare instances where I'm forced to ask myself, is this a perfect game? Unfortunately, the answer is no, but it's still pretty damn close.

There are some neat little features to the newest Mega Man. However, while it's the kind of game that series fans should enjoy, there just isn't enough to bring it to a new audience.

The project resulting from the 30-year celebration of the series could be better, with more content and variety. However, Mega Man 11 is a good game and its existence deserves to be embraced by the fans. With this new edition, Capcom has created a great base and gameplay model, making room for future Mega Man games to be even more incredible.

Mega Man 11 is a solid entry in the franchise, but it's not an exceptional one. It's a well-made and enjoyable Mega Man game with a great variety of robot masters, fun levels, and interesting weapons. It suffers from some odd difficulty spikes and a disappointing finale, but nothing drags down the game too far. If anything, the game's biggest flaw is that it's too safe and too traditional, but after nearly a decade without a new Mega Man title, perhaps safer is better. All in all, Mega Man 11 is a safe and fun title that's a pleasant experience for fans and newcomers alike.

Mega Man 11 takes the series back to its roots while introducing new mechanisms like Double Gear which adds a new layer to its beautifully crafted gameplay. Great graphics and perfect sound design are other factors that make Mega Man 11 a modern and enjoyable addition to this franchise.

Mega Man 11 not only marks a return to form for the franchise, it serves as a natural evolution of Mega Man's foundation, finally allowing the series to progress into the next generation. On an aesthetic and gameplay level, the series has taken some much needed, and welcome, steps. The art style has an appropriate level of charm and polish, while still evoking a more old school aesthetic, while the new Double Gear system pairs wonderfully with the platformer's tight level design. Mega Man 11 is a magnificent blend of old and new, honouring what came before, while never forgetting to look towards the future.

It is a real pleasure the return of this beloved series by millions around the world after waiting for many years since the release of Mega Man 10. I still believe that the game still holding on to its unique style and the difficulty that pulls you to complete the game and to finish it many times, but at the same time while I am in the game I am still certain that its development was quickly terminated and could have been better than the final version that got released. For the fans of the series in which they will enjoy the rare classical experience in Mega Man 11, but as the regular gamer who has no interest in the series may face some difficulties to make him finish the entire game.

In 2010, Capcom left all it's fanbase heartbroken by cancelling all of the upcoming Mega Man projects. Now after 8 years, Mega Man 11 has proved itself to be Capcom's redemption. This game does not only succeed in being a decent Mega Man game but it is also a friendly gateway and starting point to newcomers.

I would love to play a take on Mega Man that's built with the present in mind, and not linked to the past. As it stands right now, I have no problem saying that Mega Man 11 is probably the best in the series, but it's also showing that the series has to come up with something new, especially now that they've shown what's possible.
