Golf Peaks Reviews
While Nintendo Switch has yet to get a proper, full-fat golfing sim to its name yet (come on The Golf Club, get your act together), it does have a handful of fun and rewarding alternatives to tee off on. Golf Peaks is one such memorable trip down the fairway, taking that classic pastime and infusing it with an isometric puzzler that's as fun and engaging as it was on mobile. Much like the original, this Switch port's only real letdown is the fact it's simply over too quickly. Let's hope Golf Peaks 2 is on the cards one day.
Looking for a change of pace or an escape from the stress of the rat race? Then Golf Peaks can provide you with a brief respite from the daily grind.
Now I just wish I understood what that weird nut thing from the promotional materials is. Is he a golf caddie or Mr. Peanut's hippie cousin?
Golf Peaks is a calm, de-stressing game that makes you plan ahead but also does not punish you for making the wrong move.
Golf Peaks is the very same game which came out on any mobile phone store back in 2018. Without any new addition, Afterburn's puzzle game still delivers quite a dozen of pleasant challenges, thanks to its Joy-Con or touchscreen controls. Unfortunately, the game's difficulty remains unchanged, and those golf puzzles will be done in no time, leaving the player wanting for way much more.

Golf Peaks is an interesting mix of puzzle-solving and golfing. The card playing mechanic is entertaining and adds a good challenge. It doesn't take very long to complete every level, but it's a nice journey.
I enjoyed Golf Peaks from start to finish. It's a fun, light game that's perfectly suited for portable play on the Switch, but is equally engaging in docked mode where it's easy to have some others help solve the puzzles. This is not priced to be a game that'll remain on your Switch for a long time, but you may find you'll keep it around for some quick brain flexing between bigger sessions with your standard, go-to titles.
For the meagre price of $4.99 USD, Golf Peaks supplies several hours of engaging brain twists that are both fun and relaxing to take part in. Its simplistic design and wonderful control scheme makes it a perfect match for the Nintendo Switch's "on-the-go" philosophy! Highly recommended!
Golf Peaks on Nintendo Switch is an enjoyable puzzle experience, but rather short.

Golf Peaks is a gem of a puzzle game. Everything — its controls, presentation, and premise — indicates simplicity, but the ingenious puzzles won't let you breeze through this. It's an addictive enough title because of this, and while this is light on content, its relaxing nature means you won't mind too much. If you need a game that acts as a nice break from the longer and more stressful titles on the system, Golf Peaks is it.
Golf Peaks' card-based mechanics lead to some interesting puzzles, but the package is a little on the light side. There is a solid golf game to be found here, but it is over before it even begins.
Although Golf Peaks could have benefited from there being more content included, it's still a solid puzzler that is more than worth the cost of admission. Its delightful presentation, calming presence and pick-up appeal make it perfect to take on the go.
Even with that in mind, Golf Peaks is an excellent bite-sized puzzle game for the Switch. It was a nice, serene, and challenging way to wind down and after playing through it, I'll be keeping eye for new stylish puzzle games from this developer as they clearly understand how to make these things fun.
Golf Peaks isn’t going to stand out on the Switch. It’s well made, clean, and the minimalism is appealing, but it’s also somewhat limited and hard to sit down to for long periods.
If it weren't for its reliance on trial and error, Golf Peaks would be a top-notch puzzle game but it's still definitely worth checking out.
Starting out things are pretty simple as the game walks you through the basic mechanics...
Golf Peaks is a stylish and satisfying puzzler that takes the sport of golf and gives it an interesting twist helping it stand out in an already crowded genre. Sure it’s a little on the short side but it also means Golf Peaks never outstays its welcome. A golfing experience that’s more birdie than double bogie.
Golf Peaks offers some great puzzles and a nice distraction. It’s not flawless but it’s definitely worth the low price of admission.
WORTH CONSIDERING - Golf Peaks blends logic-based puzzle gameplay with golfing aesthetics for the visual presentation. The game is neither a great golfing game, or really a challenging puzzle game as most of the levels are fairly easy and straightforward to solve, and the sport serves primarily as just window dressing. That doesn’t mean to say that the overall experience still isn’t polished and fun. Golf Peaks lands on the Nintendo Switch for a meager $4.99, and for that you’ll get a few hours of relaxed puzzle fun. It’s a decent alternative to hitting the real links on a given Sunday afternoon.
