Mortal Kombat 11 - Flawless fighting marred by tedious grinding and content gating
Mortal Kombat 11 is one of the most complete games available within the fighting genre. The story mode brings exactly what we expected from NetherRealm as well as several online and offline modes, suiting all players.

Mortal Kombat 11 is the best fighting game in years, featuring polished combat and a ridiculously fun story.
I think players who like fighting games will be satisfied with the game. Although you don't have much to do with fighting games, you can have fun with the story of Mortal Kombat 11.

Mortal Kombat 11 takes everything we love from the franchise and turns it up to 11 even with a disjointed story and very slow progression.
Though the Netherrealm Studios delivered with Mortal Kombat XI a polished title with a great production and a overall well made storymode, the excessive grind to unlock new costumes might scare off some players over time and the adaption of existing bugs from its predecessors crosses our lack of understanding, but fans of the series and friends of gory fighting games still get served well and extensive.

Mortal Kombat 11 is a fantastic game with rich yet accessible combat and a great story. It's also mired in grind and randomness in the post-game and causes concerns about real money transactions.
Complete and challenging gameplay, stunning visuals, detailed animations along with memorable music, all are the reasons for Mortal Kombat 11 to be the best Mortal Kombat in the last few generations of video games. Add to these, a very useful tutorial, good netcode, various online options, and a vast customization system, and you will have one of the best Fighting games of this generation in front of you. I just wished developers didn't lock a big portion of customization content behind different game currencies and a need to always being connected to the internet, otherwise, it would have been a flawless game.

Mortal Kombat 11 is a great fighter, perhaps the best the series has been to date. It’s a visual spectacle filled with lots of ways to play for players of all skill levels, and features the most enjoyable fighting game story I’ve ever gone through. It also has some boring new characters, crippled further by the extensive customization suite, and a growing disconnect between the regular fighting and the fatalities. Small issues, but issues all the same. Still, you’ll probably be having too much fun to care.
Mortal Kombat 11 is a good game ruined by odd decisions. NetherRealm and Warner Bros have pushed consumers into one little corner. Basically "purchase our in-game currency or suffer and grind for hours". That is not fair; it's not fair to the fanbase, the consumers and the franchise. Mortal Kombat deserves better.
