Rage 2 isn’t the biggest game in the world. Nor is it the prettiest, or the most polished. Once you’ve explored its tame open world enough to open up your combat options however, it doesn’t really matter.

Rage 2 is one of the most exciting, entertaining and craziest games that i played in this generation. It's an amazing mixture of Rage, Doom and Mad Max with so many skills, guns, upgrades, vehicle combat, costumization and of course "Adrenaline." If you are looking for a deep story and memorable characters, it's not your game, but if you want one of the most engaging and deep gameplay and gunplay of this generation, Rage 2 is exactly one of the best choices that you should not miss at all.

Rage 2 is an absolute fun, gives the player lots of toys to play with thanks to its big budget, but fails miserably when it comes to story telling.

The best Avalanche Studios game so far, but still a mediocre experience.

New Rage from Avalanche Studios is good explosive shooter, but with bounded movement and bald quests.

Rage 2 is a chaotic, fun, and rewarding adventure that combines a light but interesting narrative with explosive combat and a well-structured open world. It won't blow you off your feet, but you'll have plenty of fun blowing everyone else off theirs.

Rage 2 is an engaging game that's hindered by a number of annoyances.

If I was to sum up Rage 2 in a single word it would be ‘fun’. The gunplay feels so good and when chained together with Walker’s Nanotrite abilities you can have a real blast taking down the bandits and mutants that plague Rage 2’s wasteland. While I would have loved a more engaging story and deeper characters I did love the true open world and it’s visual diversity. It’s a big step up from the original Rage and if the team’s take on player feedback, Rage 3 is well on it’s way to being something amazing.

Rage 2 offers exhilarating combat with firearms and Nanotrite abilities making the player feel like a powerhouse but its lacking open world and story structure drags down the experience between firefights.

And that would be it. RAGE 2 is 20 hours of very repetitive, not fully thought out and poorly distributed fun. Yes, although there are a lot of flaws here, it's fun. This title fulfills its basic assumption and simply gives fun.

The collaboration between id Software and Avalanche Studios has been successful by joining forces with the two forces of the studios. Thanks to id Software, the game has a rock-solid gameplay with various weapons and powers, and with Avalanche Studios' engine, the world has become beautiful, the color splashes off the screen, and there are many vehicles to use. That's why it's such a shame that the storyline is so short and has no surprises of its own, so the lion's share of RAGE 2 comes from the side missions and activities. What remains is a short, but powerful game that secretly could have lasted a lot longer.

While Rage 2 falls short in most areas, it excels in the one that matters the most: gameplay.

For at least twelve hours that the game lasts, it definitely offers fun, and even if the side quests do not have much to offer to the lore in general, they are reasons for more shooting.

11 abilities, 11 weapons and 13 vehicles. A shooting game with hundreds of POSSIBILITIES on how to play it. You can play the entire game with a rifle and a shotgun or you can mix it all up and have a BLAST with crazy combos. Hard mode for veteran players is easy. If you love genre and mode, GO INSANE on this game. It rewards killing and fast pace advance (feltrite collection). Play it with RAGE and live up to its name!

Rage 2 is not a bad game but it's not a particularly good one either. At its best, this bland open world is overshadowed by glimmers of brilliance in its combat. At its worst, Rage 2 borders on mundane and laborious, taking liberties with your time through meaningless quests and unskippable dialogue. If you value your time, Rage 2 is not a game I can recommend. Its combat is spread far too thinly and the few shining moments of brilliance are dimmed by a mundane tasks and mechanics we've seen time and time again, delivered with more flair in other games.

Rage 2 offers another typical “open world shooter with activities” for those who need another fix since Far Cry 5 last.

Open world games are a delicacy today, so much so that developers go far beyond what fans ask and end up delivering great titles that should not go unnoticed by any player.

Rage 2 feels like a game from 10 years ago and I'm still not sure whether that's a compliment or an insult. It's certainly not the worst game you'll play, but it's never going to be the best.

I have enjoyed every minute I have spent playing Rage 2 since its release, and I’m looking forward to diving into the DLC down the road. Rage 2 is going to get the Thumb Culture Gold Award from me for being so damn fun, in spite of its short length. It’s not often I play many games lately that I look forward to playing again. I definitely recommend it.
