My Time at Portia Reviews
My Time at Portia already had my attention, but now that I’m actually deep into playing it, I’m obsessed. But don’t let that distract you from the fact that there are several issues that you’ll need to overcome to also get to that point.
My Time at Portia is an excellent life sim for those who have always wanted to spend their time befriending everyone in their village.
Luckily, the more time you spend in Portia the more the world will reward you. The game is effortlessly simple, but it excels in almost everything it aims to achieve. It's one of the most relaxing indie life-simulation games out there, and yet it still offers enough adventure and addictive crafting opportunities to keep you hooked. A totally new spin on the post-apocalyptic experience, My Time At Portia is vibrant, relaxing, and brimming with charm.
A gorgeous, atmospheric, and relaxing world chock full of things to do, My Time at Portia ultimately falls frustratingly short of its potential due to some serious pacing issues and an overall lack of mechanical polish.
While going 3D literally adds another dimension, the game's clunky menus and systems detract from the fun of building, crafting, and selling, but the general gameplay, dungeons, art style, characters, and light-hearted storylines are enough to make the early confusion worth suffering through.
My Time At Portia is an ambitious game that actually delivers on what it sets out to do. The crafting can be extremely overwhelming at first and the presence of some in-game timers can be a mild annoyance, but get your head round its detailed multi-step building missions and you'll end up with a game that could end up racking hundreds of hours on your Switch.
Do you long for a relaxed, endless procession of tasks, each a companion to a fleeting sense of achievement? Do you wish to wile away your hours making things? Are you looking for that next digital husband or wife whose fondest wish is the right combination of gifts and dialogue branches? Then My Time At Portia will call your name, friend.
GOOD - My Time At Portia is a charming attempt at the Simulation RPG genre. While it has its fair share of flaws that make the game difficult to get into at first, the experience beyond the entry point is nothing short of rewarding. There’s a sincere charm to this game that you don’t often find.
Tries to do a whole lot and doesn't do it all perfectly, but certainly doesn't fail either.
My Time at Portia is a good RPG and Adventure game that will require hours of effort and exploration in the best Stardew Valley and Minecraft style.

This can cause it to be intimidating and more than a little confusing at times. The quality of its many systems range from addictive to annoying. However, taken as a whole My Time at Portia is a rich world full of activity that, when played at an appropriately chill pace, will yield many hours of charming fun.
Sunny sandbox with crafting in charming land is very relaxing.

A colorful farming experience that always has something new to offer. No matter what path you take, you've only scratched the surface.
My Time at Portia is a brilliant game with a magnitude of things for you to do, a wonderfully crafted world with quirky inhabitants. If you’re into these type of sim games, I would highly recommend.
It’s easily one of the best chill-out games there is, and if you feel like you want to channel your inner-builder, then Portia lets you do this wonderfully.
My Time At Portia isn't the best game in its genre, but it's still a appealing and well-made game. Despite some shortcomings in gameplay and storytelling, living in the colorful and beauteous world of Portia is very enjoyable. Developers got their inspiration from other RPG and simulator titles to create a lovable title that's definitely worth trying and despite being incomplete it can still be addicting.

Monster Energy Supercross: The Official Video Game is in the middle of the pack of Milestone S.r.l games. It's not fun or amazing or even disappointing. It might actually be unique for players who aren't into this genre though technical issues, lack of variety and risk stops this from being an incredible game

My Time at Portia may not be the most creative indie game of recent times and it also may not be free of flaws, however it is so full of content and enjoyable that it is easy to forgive a relatively small team for their intermittent mistakes. My Time at Portia shoots for the moon and lands there save for irregular hiccups.
