Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Reviews
The campaign of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare runs itself into the ground with lots of schock moments without any substance or consequences for the player but the Multiplayer Part is probably the best in years. If you want to jump into some great multiplayer action after a meaningless and short campaign you'll have lots of fun with this years Call of Duty.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is back in an explosive way, ruling both the campaign and multiplayer scene for the foreseeable future.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a no frills upgrade of the game that shaped a generation of FPS, featuring a surprisingly good story and deep weapon customization
Both the campaign and (currently divisive) multiplayer add a lot of new angles and depth to the usual Call of Duty experience. Unfortunately, that all comes at the cost of a good story, and the last Modern Warfare had a great story.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is the best entry the series has seen in nearly a decade. A riveting story, beautiful visuals, and addictive multiplayer are bolstered by new features that will keep you coming back for more. Modern Warfare is a must-play for anyone who enjoys the older Call of Duty titles, especially considering the steady flow of free content we've been promised.
Nowhere close to a reinvention of the series but the more serious tone is mostly successful, with an ambitious story campaign and some entertaining new multiplayer modes.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare isn't the best Call of Duty game. Hell, it's not even the best Modern Warfare game. But it does maintain the series tradition of delivering a solid feature-packed release. Modern Warfare offers a great single-player campaign and exciting multiplayer gameplay, all dressed up in excellent visuals and terrific sound. Death, taxes, and Call of Duty. The brand may long in the tooth, but it isn't ready for discharge anytime soon.
When Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is at its best, it's easily one of this generation's best entries in the series. The campaign makes up for a so-so story with a run of brilliant missions that offer up some astonishing moments. Multiplayer treads old ground but remains highly compelling, and Gunfight is a successful addition to the list of modes. Special Ops is disappointing, with just a few missions that are all far too difficult to be fun. Overall, this is an entertaining, high-octane shooter with highs that outweigh the lows.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is another fantastic shooter from Infinity Ward, but it's still just a Call of Duty game. If you're a fan of the heights of the franchise, you're sure to have a great time. However, for those hoping for a more daring and innovative leap, there's not much new to see here.
Infinity Ward's new campaign effectively conveys both the existent horrors and strange exhilaration of war
Another Call of Duty that doesn’t really change anyone’s mind about Call of Duty. Whatever’s there that I thought might actually be making a leap was seemingly just good marketing. In that sense, I suppose, it’s been pretty successful. [OpenCritic note: Jeremy Peel and Sherif Saad separately reviewed the campaign (4/5) and multiplayer (3/5). The scores have been averaged.]
Call of Duty is back to its former glory with this Modern Warfare reboot, and is easily the best military shooter out there. The single-player campaign is pure gold, although short as always, and the multi-player that the franchise is know for is back to give you an almost complete package. Future looks very bright for the series.

Modern Warfare does not reinvent the CoD wheel, but thanks to a good campaign and a great multiplayer, it's an all around successful shooter package.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare overcomes some questionable design choices to deliver a densely-packed, slickly addictive military shooter.
Infinity Ward brings back the iconic and the most anticipated single-player campaign and it looks as great as the old Morden Warfare series despite the mediocre ending. The multi-player part is as neat as usual but the spec ops is too difficult to continue.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's campaign and multiplayer are so good that players will be able to overlook most of its shortcomings.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's campaign is more throwaway blockbuster than challenging look at conflict, but its mission variety makes for an enjoyable few hours. And even with the disappointing Spec Ops, a wealth of entertaining multiplayer modes makes this a worthwhile addition to any Call of Duty fan's collection.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is one of the most thrilling and absorbing experiences I ever had in a very long time. The story is containing shocking scenes which will be remembered forever. And removing the season pass and enabling cross play is another plus that makes Modern Warfare a great game.

Call of Duty Strikes again. Return to modern era is good choice. Multiplayer is fun, but singleplayer campaign too short.
