Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Reviews
The Iceborne expansion delivers a sequel’s worth of content with how much it expands Monster Hunter World.
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne has blown me away with just the sheer quality that it puts forth
Iceborne is as good as expansions get. It presents welcome tweaks to the original formula and monsters that will challenge even the toughest of hunters. If only more of the campaign explored this.
Monster Hunter World was already a great game but with Iceborne, Capcom has made it even better. It is easily one of the best expansions released for a game this generation and worthy enough to be considered on its own.
Iceborne is basically what we expect from an expansion. It has a new region to explore, a lot of monsters and a consistent endgame. It's the perfect excuse to spend another hundred hours in one of the best games Capcom has offered in this generation.

Monster Hunter World is undoubtedly a title this generation needed. Its first expansion, Iceborne, has captured the unanimous consent of players, from series lovers to new levers, in its icy grip. With the refinement of the mechanics already present and a disheartening amount of content, Iceborne is able to keep us engaged for hours in search of materials, with a deep and satisfying endgame compartment.

When it comes down to it, Monster Hunter World: Iceborne isn't just an expansion. It's an overall improvement to what was already an excellent game. More monsters, more attacks, new strategies and challenges, and new distractions add tons of content to the game. It's easy to lose track of time in Iceborne, as hunts will continue to keep you engaged. If you took a break or even if you never left the New World, Iceborne adds plenty to make the game feel fresh again.
Monster Hunter World is already a really good game. Just when we thought it couldn't get any better, Monster Hunter World: Iceborne comes along, and expands on it with expanded gameplay, gear, tons of cool (geddit?) monsters, and most importantly, replayability.
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is a fantastic expansion that almost feels like a sequel with all of the content that’s packed into it. There’s a huge cast of monsters to hunt with lots of new equipment to keep you going for another year at least and along with the promise of post-launch content like the base game received, you’re in for another treat when you make the journey to Hoarfrost Reach.
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne comes close to matching the perfection of the first adventures with the Fifth Fleet but this new expansion is all but guaranteed to lead to more times being carted back to camp. The links above are affiliate links. Iceborne is more than just an expansion, improving in every way the already excellent gaming experience offered by a blockbuster like Monster Hunter World. Recommended for veterans and new players.

Capcom didn't just add a full-bodied, rewarding expansion to Moster Hunter World, but it actually turned it into the best "Ultimate version" in the franchise's history.

he PC version, provided you have quite powerful hardware, benefits from increased fluidity and a greater level of detail than console counterparts: those who have waited for the arrival of this edition can therefore breathe a sigh of relief.

Capcom has gifted us more than just simple paid DLC with this massive expansion. The amount of fresh content packed into Iceborne amounts to a sequel built on the original engine. The new locale is beautifully rendered, offering exciting new sights and sounds as you explore the crisp snowfields and frozen caverns. Visually, each new monster is fantastically detailed in all their intimidating might, even the ones built upon the models of previous designs. What’s more, they keep you on your toes when visiting the original locations from the base game, adding a new edge to each hunt.
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is more than an expansion: it's a generous gift to its fans (both the seasoned and the fresh ones), one that can last for hundreds of hours of the purest monster-hunting fun.

Iceborne is an amazing DLC that is well worth the hefty price tag. It continues with amazing graphics and fun, challenging gameplay, while bringing a whole new level of grind to an extreme grind game by adding many more hours of content and many more items to collect for those who are looking to scratch that collector’s itch.
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne adds loads of impressive monsters and tons of quality-of-life improvements to an already incredible game.
