Luigi’s Mansion 3 is a perfect example of a “Nintendo Game.” It’s simple, yet complex. Engaging, fun and perfectly paced. It’s an absolutely riotous good time and once again, shines the light on Luigi, Nintendo’s most interesting and well-developed Mario brother.

Luigi returns with an adventure which most remarkable virtues hide behind his playable mechanics. Nintendo has managed again to create a game where what we do and the environments that we travel through are with connected tightly. The game and the player meet in an experiencie the feeling of discovery is the greatest reward and, ultimately, makes Luigi's Mansion 3 get into the list of the rest of Nintendo Switch greatest titles.

It’s hard to say anything more about Luigi’s Mansion 3, other than “it’s cool.” Not everything works perfectly, but it definitely is a very good game – weird, but good. It brings fun, but not emotions. It’s memorable, but it doesn't make for a good game to talk about with friends. Still, if you own a Switch, you should be happy with the purchase.

Eighteen years after its debut, Nintendo's "soft horror" series still proves to be one of the most brilliant and iconic of those created by the Kyoto company.

Luigi’s Mansion 3 is the best looking Switch game to date, bringing fantastic visuals, intuitive puzzle mechanics, and charm that can only be successfully executed by the wimpiest mascot Nintendo has on offer.

Multiplayer and co-op add value, but the true goo here is in the game's ever-enjoyable single-player campaign that will keep you checking, checking and checking again under that bed, for that hidden ghost, or that hidden treasure.

Luigi's Mansion 3 is yet another excellent Nintendo exclusive and is the perfect antidote to the doom and gloom that runs rampant in the horror genre these days.

Despite its annoyances, Luigi’s Mansion 3 is a hauntingly good time, packed with charm everywhere you look. As someone who has once dabbled in the franchise, I’m already hooked — I can imagine those already in love with Luigi (and Gooigi!) will find this a trick rather than a treat.

Boiled down it's a fairly simple riff on GhostBusters, but Luigi's Mansion has been produced with such a sense of humour and eye for detail that it has a personality and uniquely Nintendo quality all of its own.

It might not even be a mansion, but the Last Resort Hotel is the perfect stage to another freakishly fantastic entry into the Other Mario Brother's oddball spinoff franchise

Luigi's Mansion 3 treats the player to a meaty singleplayer adventure, with beautiful environments, a plethora of different enemies and cool puzzles. Afterwards you can even play the game with friends. The fun does get spoiled a bit by a less than ideal camera and clunky controls however. Still, it's a game that can be enjoyed by young and old alike!

Luigi's Mansion 3 is a magical return to the franchise which newcomers and old-school fans will delight in. Filled with adventure and spooks, the sequel brings back what fans loved about the series' first game. Luigi has never felt more loved in a game before, even when he's been put through seven layers of ghostly hell, and fans will enjoy the game even in its most frustrating moments.

With a near-perfect story mode, Luigi’s Mansion 3 is a polished spectral comedy that keeps you on your toes. While its multiplayer and co-op modes are slick to play, the minigames lower the bar. Yet it’s in the animation and the devilish puzzles that really makes this game shine, with or without the Strobulb. Well done Luigi, those ghosts didn’t stand a chance.

Luigi's Mansion 3 has a completely solid setup for another ghost hunt. The hotel environment makes every floor stand out, the bosses and basic enemies feel like a great mix of the last two games, and Luigi himself really shines. It's a ghastly great time.
