The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition (Switch) Reviews
Should you play The Witcher 3? Absolutely. It’s one of a handful of games from the past decade that you simply can’t miss. Should you play The Witcher 3 on the Switch? Honestly, probably not.
It is a truly impressive technical feat that a developer was able to get The Witcher 3 onto the Nintendo Switch in a working state at all. That doesn't necessarily mean that the port should have happened though.
It's a great thing to have The Witcher III : Wild Hunt - Complete Edition on Nintendo Switch. Players will be able to (re)discover one the best games of the past years - with its two expansions- and take it everywhere they want. If you're not too disappointed by the visual downgrade, a needed sacrifice in order to have it running quite smoothly, and don't try it on a TV, on which it's painful to watch, everything is going to be fine Geralt, Yennefer, Ciri, and this epic and engaging dark fantasy adventure.

The Witcher 3 looks pretty bad on the Switch, but it's still an incredible RPG that shouldn't be missed if this the only way to play it.
A well-functioning port of a brilliant game with an unexpected identity crisis. Given the availability of other platforms, the visual compromise makes this technical marvel a difficult sell to first-timers and veterans.
Poor port of a great game. At least it has all the content released to date in that tiny cartridge and is very much enjoyed in portable mode.

Long-time Witcher fans will have a blast reliving their adventures on the go, while those who have yet to step into the hunting boots, luscious locks and scruffed beard of Geralt of Rivia, have the perfect opportunity to get stuck in.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition on the Nintendo Switch is a great technical achievement through the stable framerate and the immense content it comes with. Only the not constant resolution of 720p and the reduced graphics make it hard to recommend for people that use the Switch in docked Mode on the TV. Everyone else can definitely go for it!

The Witcher 3: Complete Edition on Nintendo Switch may not look as good as its PS4, X1 and PC counterpart, but it's still a blast to play and one of the best rpg of this generation.

The Witcher 3 for Switch is a marvellous port that makes some smart sacrifices to graphics and performance to translate a fantastic game in a downgraded but highly playable action-RPG
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition is a killer addition to the Nintendo Switch library.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition on Switch is a bittersweet compromise, a conversion that heavily sacrifices resolution, general and textures, to preserve all its essence.

The Witcher 3 for Nintendo Switch turns out to be another incarnation of the franchise ready to kidnap you without making you understand how, where and when. A game that knows how to excite and fascinate its players.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for Nintendo Switch is still the same masterpiece as before, but now with the ability to take the game with you. The clarity of the graphics significantly loses to the rest of the consoles, but it is not so noticeable in a portable format, especially given the good optimization and beautiful characters. If you dreamed to plunge into the dense atmosphere of Slavic fantasy on the road, you can safely buy the game. In all other cases, it is better to take a cheaper and more beautiful version for PC (or other systems).

Hack, slash, chop, blast a fireball, stir my pasta, dodge those lunging talons, taste the bolognese, chop off the monster's head to collect my bounty.
Despite its compromises, The Witcher 3 is still a breathtaking adventure and the best RPG for Nintendo Switch till now.

The (S)Witcher 3 is an ambitious port of one of the best games of the generation, albeit with some notable concessions.
In the end, it's a testament to the art direction and captivating gameplay that the Switch port of The Witcher 3, stripped of most of its technical achievements, is still a damn good and immersive video game. If you haven't played The Witcher 3 yet, this is a good opportunity to jump in. The game runs better and is available at a more affordable price on the other platforms, but if you can live with the heavy visual downgrades for the sake of portability, then this is as good as The Witcher 3 gets.
It is witchcraft, being able to take one of the best open-world RPGs of the generation anywhere can not be qualified otherwise. The technical sacrifice has been important, but performance and quality have been perfectly prioritized at the right times, making this edition perfect for those who do not have another machine than the Nintendo hybrid console or for those who want to play the adventures of Geralt of Rivia anywhere.

The mature content and somber approach of The Witcher III: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition may put off some gamers, but it's a can't-miss game for those seeking an RPG with more bite and consequence (not to mention playable characters above the age of 15) than we normally get on Nintendo systems.
