Cyberpunk 2077 proves that the developers have improved their skills since fantastic The Witcher 3. It is an excellent action RPG that would benefit from a longer delay to polish the various issues. However, no amount of bugs can diminish the immense pleasure of exploring this world.

A remarkably well-executed open world game whose greatest heights exceed its deepest failings.

Minor flaws aside, Cyberpunk 2077 on PC is an exciting and enthralling open world experience. It doesn't set a new industry standard, but it does most of the things it aims to do with great success.

Cyberpunk 2077 is excellent and one of the must-play titles of 2020, but unfortunately this statement needs to be clarified depending on the platform.

There's a lot of surface detail, that is clearly just set dressing, yet it still provides one of the most incredibly realized and mature worlds to date. The story and characters are wonderful and pull you into their needs and wants. If you don't mind a number of immersion-breaking bugs or lack of polish, then Cyberpunk 2077 absolutely measures up to be one of the best games out there, but only if you're willing to put the work in to find the good stuff.

Playthrough Cyberpunk was made easier due to the similar controls of other popular shooters and RPGs. Players who are looking for hours of gameplay can find themselves easily lost in this game either through side quests or by trying out different fighting styles. Overall, we enjoyed our time with Cyberpunk 2077 and it is worth giving the game a second chance.

Cyberpunk 2077 is definitely a technological wonder in the world of video games proving that CDPR has reached unprecedented heights that we could never imagine. They went above and beyond everything they have ever created in the Witcher series.

Night City is the host of a very neat and cool playground for a mercenary, gun-for-hire, bounty hunter type persona. We can't fault CDPR's handling of the main-story and fleshed-out side quests. These are both excellent and well worth playing the game for. Whilst the game does feel lacking in other areas as if unfinished, and has its fair share of bugs, it's still a cracking top-notch experience on top-end PC.

So, Cyberpunk 2077 on Xbox. This is a game I had been looking forward to for what seems like a lifetime, and it was never going to live up to the high expectations that CD Projekt Red, I or the world as a whole has been putting on it. It’s a great RPG, but at the same time it doesn’t do anything grounding breaking in terms of style and gameplay. Yes it has bugs, there is an annoying UI and I can’t ignore the mission stutters, but similarly it’s a game that I constantly think back to when I’m not gaming, looking forward to my next deep session with it.

I am not going to call this a commendable effort, because honestly, this is how Cyberpunk 2077 should have been released in the first place. Sadly, committing to last-gen platforms at first, combined with fan demand, death threats, and the COVID-19 pandemic, resulted in a botched version of a great game that left a horrendous first impression. That is not the case with this PS5 version. This is how Cyberpunk 2077 should be played.

If you enjoy the cyberpunk subgenre, open worlds, and open ended gameplay sequences, you can lose yourself to Night City for many hours. Just don’t expect a game that’s bug free.

I was very impressed with the 2.0 update. Cyberpunk 2077 came out earlier and we had to wait almost three years for it to reach its current form, and I love it. I really wish they had been there from the beginning because they would have left a lasting impression on more than just me. The game has become much more beautiful thanks to new technologies, and in places where you just sit and admire what is happening on the screen, I haven’t had such a feeling for a long time.

Cyberpunk fascinates with its story and characters, but presents itself in a partially desolate state on consoles.

Measured against the extreme expectations, Cyberpunk 2077 can't fulfill any of them. But all in all, despite the countless small weaknesses and inconsequences, with interesting characters, great story and dialogues or the freedom concerning gameplay, CD Projekt delivers a unique and great RPG that every fan of the genre needs to play.

One of the best open-world RPGs of all-time is held back in part by a rushed release that fails to tap into the full power of the new generation of consoles or perform acceptably on the previous one.

If you can look past Cyberpunk's technical issues and the noise that has trailed it since its bungled beginnings, you'll find a gem of an RPG that's rife with promise and well worth your time.

After years of anticipation, Cyberpunk 2077 has arrived. Offering a slew of missions, activities, and lore to explore within the breathtaking atmosphere of Night City. If you are a next-gen owner, you are lucky to experience this vast open world with a few technical issues along the way. However, outside of a few shortcomings, when the game shines, it shines bright. The amount of content, choices, and deep story building kept me moving forward. Night City offers more than what's on the surface, but is it worth exploring?

Off the top of my head I can’t think of another game with a backstory like Cyberpunk 2077. It’s fortunate that CDPR were able to spend the last year-plus continuing development of the game, listening to feedback, adding content, and fixing tons and tons of issues. Many games would simply not have gotten the extra time and money spent that Cyberpunk got, but this time CDPR got it right. Now is the right time to play this game; I’m not saying it’s flawless and perfect, but it’s nearly so, for such an elaborate, massive game. This is the game we were hoping for back in December 2020, but I’m reminded of the adage ‘better late than never.’ And that certainly applies here.
