Warcraft III: Reforged Reviews
While Warcraft 3 is still a phenomenal game to play today, Reforged is unfortunately a chaotic storm of failed promises, technical bugs and missed opportunities that makes a great game worse.
Reforged ultimately feels like a dusty museum exhibit more than a faithful remaster or an update into the modern age. It could have been an excellent way to introduce this story and game to a new generation. Instead, it’s a halfhearted release that misses the opportunity to bring Warcraft 3 back to its old audience while hopefully finding a new one.
I brought up "the old Blizzard" in this review because this is a first time in a while (yes, even counting Diablo III at launch) that you can really sense a huge shift at the company in just about every sense. Warcraft III: Reforged is both the beginning and end of an era. It works to a degree thanks to the immense talent of the original Warcraft III creators and custom map fiends, but it doesn't quite feel like Blizzard, does it.
Warcraft 3: Reforged is the latest disappointment in a long string for industry titan Activision-Blizzard.
With Warcraft III: Reforged, Blizzard killed this legendary RTS, and instead offered fans and newcomers a neglected mess that's filled with bugs.

Despite the fun that I’ve had playing Warcraft 3: Reforged and for how it has reminded me what an incredibly influential and brilliant game it is, there’s no way I could recommend anyone outside of the absolute hardcore Warcraft fanbase to purchase it.
Lots of broken promises means this game doesn't worth buying just for Reforged makeup. But, if you haven't played Warcraft III before... then it's one hell of a game despite all annoying details.

An inexplicably careless remaster, where none of the changes are unequivocally for the better and the experience is brought down further by numerous bugs and missing features.
An exceptional RTS let down by a very disappointing remaster.
Warcraft III is still one of the best RTS ever made, yet this Reforged edition is just a lazy remaster. That's because many features are missing and the game is plagued by a significant amount of technical issues.

Except for its solid core gameplay and intriguing story, Warcraft III: Reforged lacks any major updates over the original. In the end, what we have is a game that is a complete disappointment..
Warcraft III: Reforged is still one of the best RTS ever made, but is also one of the worst remake we have seen.

Unfortunately, the finished product ended up being not much of an upgrade over the classic version of the game.
Warcraft III: Reforged is a much-needed remaster that's not quite complete.
There’s a reason why it’s a classic.
All in all, playing multiplayer with everything available in Warcraft III: Reforged is a great experience. It's a smooth, attractive and altogether great experience for those who are wanting to see the game that started the DOTA craze as well as a game with one of the most thriving and energetic modding communities in the world.
