It’s more than just TT Isle of Man – Ride on the Edge with additional content stuffed in: it’s an accomplished sequel. So, if you’re gutted that you can’t watch the real thing this year, pick this up. It’s sure to soften the blow.
For those who enjoyed the original TT Isle of Man, the sequel Ride on the Edge 2 raises the stakes with an improved career mode that delivers a more immersive experience. Sign with a manufacturer to get access to their livery, then proceed to unlock perks and part upgrades to enhance the performance of those bikes with each successive race. Newcomers can easily pick up and learn the ropes while making good progress on the stat sheets thanks to the arcade-like controls that don't make the racing experience too complicated, unlike the more realistic sim racer. However, beyond the career mode, there is a basic online mode to further gain some racing experience. While this isn't the premium two-wheeled racer on consoles, it is a step in the right direction for Kylotonn.
The TT Isle of Man 2 race shows you why they are both deadly and tempting at the same time.

TT Isle of Man 2 is a game for the purist of motorcycle racing fans. The gameplay can be as difficult to grasp as riding a real motorcycle, but once you get the hang of it, it’s a fun ride.
Given the general lack of racers on the Switch with every release of a title in the genre there are sure to be people who are curious about it...
TT isle of man 2 might not stand out from other similar titles or satisfy the speedsters who expect an arcade style racing game but the sequel has definitely been improved from the original. TT series games can actually let you experience how much of a realistic and dangerous motor racing it could be by the fantastic visual and audio effects when you've hit top speed. Career mode will give you the closest experience of being a competitive racer and most motorbike enthusiats will appreciate the detail the game has implemented.

Kylotonn is an excellent studio and continues to release outstanding games. They recently reinvigorated WRC and brought it home to a whole new generation of gamers. Furthermore, they took what they learned with WRC 8, and put it into TT isle of Man 2. The result is a genuinely fun motorbike simulation that does not compromise on details. It is a robust, insanely involved, and a truly gorgeous game.
If you are interested in an approach to the world of motorcycles, it may not be the best game and there are more affordable ones to start, but there is no doubt that TT Isle of Man - Ride on the Edge 2 rewards the time you spend. If you have experience in similar games, do not doubt that you will enjoy it from the beginning and it is worth having it on the shelf or in the digital library.

This is how motorbike games should be done. First instalment of TT Isle of Man had good foundations, but number two significantly improved on these. The developers worked on a proper feeling from speed and created pretty solid racing that tolerates little and doesn't excuse any mistakes. If you like challenges, this is a game for you. Just expect worse graphics. And there could also be more content available.

Overall though TT Isle Of Man 2 offers up a much improved experience over its predecessor. While it still remains a challenging and at times frustrating game to play through, there’s enough improvements to make it worth jumping back into to check out. If you’re on the fence then it’s worth a rental and just like driving itself, eventually it’ll click and the experience is unlike other motorcycle sims out there. It’s not perfect, and the long loading screens and steep learning curve will almost certainly be tall towers to climb but if you can persevere and make it to the summit, there’s a decent enough view that’s worth holding out for.
Marginal improvements over its previous entry puts Ride on the Edge 2 in a tight spot. It’s needlessly grindy and still lacks focus on whether it wants to focus on a more simulation-oriented audience or a more arcade-like experience. Sadly, with Isle of Man TT cancelled, this might be the best thing this year.

In TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge 2, the updated graphics are visual and the upgraded physics and gameplay make this game a really fun and challenging title for all die-hard race fans.
While realistic simulators like TT Isle of Man Ride on the Edge 2 may not be for everyone, I would suggest at least checking it out if you’re interested in something new and different. Amazing in the visuals department, there’s an accessibility to the entry that curbs that steep learning curve that would otherwise exist allowing people not familiar with the style to get just as much enjoyment as those riding up near the top and looking for new challenges that the latest entry provides.
We are facing a title closer to simulation than arcade, but with a maximum requirement. It is true that the more we play, the more comfortable we will feel at the controls, but even so it is not for all audiences. Lovers of this competition will be the ones who will get the most performance and enjoyment.

TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge 2 is a celebration of speed. It has some minor issues, but its driving model is enjoyable like no other game. However, although it's a top tier game in its genre, that alone isn't enough for a better score.

Bikers and those who know the heritage of the Isle of Man TT will get a real kick out of this game. It goes out of its way to put this seminal race on the pedestal it deserves and backs all of that up by building a mightily impressive racing game around it. It’s not perfect – I’d have liked to see some other models like sidecar races included – but what is here is very, very impressive indeed.
TT Isle of Man – Ride on the Edge 2 still has some issues, but this is a great sequel that improves upon its predecessor in almost every single conceivable way. If you’re into fast-paced motorbike racing, there isn’t a better game out there than this one.
