Pirates Outlaws Reviews
Pirate Outlaws is an engrossing deck builder, with plenty of cards to unlock and multiple challenges to endure through fluid gameplay.
Pirates Outlaws is a very pleasant card game with clear rules and fairly soft entry conditions for beginners. A large roster of characters, several diverse worlds, from the tropics to cold seas, as well as increasing complexity leave an exceptionally positive impression. It is a pity that this project is not yet on the Nintendo Switch, where it would be most appropriate.

Pirates Outlaws is a title that mixes the best of card and roguelike games in a seemingly simple formula.

The price may be a bit high for a cartoonish card game, but Pirates Outlaws is fun and light-hearted. Better, it has good playability and re-playability with its numerous locations and different heroes to engage in epic battles.
A seaworthy addition to the roguelike deckbuilder genre with a treasure trove of content.
Lacklustre animation aside, Pirates Outlaws is a great addition to the strategy card game genre.
Pirates Outlaws is a good card game, you could even say that it is a great introductory proposal for those who want to give this type of experience in gaming a chance. The system is balanced, it is not kind when it does not have to be but it also lets luck do its thing. Of course, it is also a game with limitations and some details that are not overlooked, but it is definitely a game worth playing, having fun and getting away from the demands of the video games we are used to.

Although there are problems with making most of its content available and also an excessive randomness for combat and progress, Pirates Outlaws is one of the best current roguelikes, with a lot of personality and a considerable challenge.

50+ hours of addicting, fun, fast, and easy-to-understand gameplay awaits fans of roguelikes in Pirates Outlaws - plus some simple, yet beautiful, and varied visuals, and hundreds of unlockables (and achievements, for those who care about those).
Pirates Outlaws is pretty fun once you start unlocking things and there's a lot of stuff to do in the form of quests, feats, earning repute, trying out characters, and beating the alternate game modes. There's enough content to keep swashbucklers invested for dozens of hours but for me, the core gameplay just isn't fun enough to keep me entertained.
Fun and addictive, Pirates Outlaws! will charm any GDC lover with its simple yet complex and long-lasting gameplay formula. With solid mechanics that change as new characters are unlocked, Fabled Studio's title boasts considerable content to keep players engaged for many hours. While the game's randomness is not negligible, prudent and judicious pirates can mitigate its effects on more than one occasion.

Nothing wrong with getting this game if you need more Slay the Spire.
Roguelike, you say? Card battler? Deck-builder? In the vein of Slay the Spire? Well, why didn’t you say so? I adore Slay the Spire and adore roguelikes, so surely Pirates Outlaws (which I think is a weird name) will be a surefire hit. Load your pistol, grab a parrot, and let’s sail the high seas! AAAARRRRRGGGGGGHHH!
Don't let the lack of creativity in the main game mode fool you: Pirates Outlaws will get you addicted to its virtually infinite possible combinations of cards and character abilities. If roguelikes and deckbuilders are among your favorite genres, be prepared to keep doing run after run.

With its smart and generally quick play, plenty of heroes to unlock, and a bit of roguelike flair this deckbuilder has a lot going for it
Pirates Outlaws is addictive in every way the word deserves. The long list of cards encourages us to try every possible combination with the different heroes, while our reputation leads us to unlock different resources and seas. Even people who don't like grueling replays will end up coming back to play a game at some point.
