Command & Conquer Remastered Collection Reviews
This remaster is a winner. It’s a stellar package, and hopefully a template for what is to come. The minor shortcomings are all due to the age of this title – but this is an old game. You have to take it for what it is – a glorious little piece of history. In presenting that, this is a practically flawless release – but the old-fashioned, less friendly design in places will mean this one isn’t quite for everyone.
Memories of past years bring with it a few drops of tears.

This Remaster is a gem and I really hope it’s just a sign of things to come as more C&C games get remastered with this level of passion, community involvement, skill, and heart.
The Command & Conquer Remastered Collection is a love letter to Westwood’s classic titles, and it’s well worth the asking price, whether you are already a fan of the franchise or not.
Minor quibbles aside — such as the lack of an attack move option — Command & Conquer Remastered is not only an amazing remaster by its own merits, but also a great reminder that simplicity in strategy games can sometimes be paramount if we want the genre to grow. Tactical victories and complex mechanics have its space in the genre, but we do need a more direct route for a bigger audience. It’s ironic that a game from 1995 does it better than most newer releases.

The Command & Conquer Remastered Collection is a surprisingly great game that, with the added benefit of getting two for the price of one, also includes a bevvy of improvements, new support, and multiplayer options.
Command & Conquer: The Remastered Collection gathers up every conceivable ounce of content from the first two games in the series and gives it a full makeover, resulting in a collection that feels holistic, modern, and true to its roots. It has some wrinkles that add an asterisk, but only just that much. This is Command & Conquer, not just how you remember it back then, but how you'll want to remember it years from now.
The original Command & Conquer might be almost 25 years old by now, but its signature fast-paced strategic gameplay hasn’t aged a day. Remastered does exactly what modern-era collections should, offering old-school action with modern-day fidelity and loads of extras. This is a perfect example of remasters done right: The original gameplay remains intact, the upgraded presentation is flawless, and the added bonuses are tremendous. Put simply, your favorite Command & Conquer games are back and better than ever.
Command & Conquer Remastered Collection is an example of how to do things right. In addition to improved graphics and audio, Petroglyph Games has introduced a new control system, many extras, collectibles and game modes.

Command & Conquer Remastered isn't just the best way to replay these classic RTS', it's one of the best and most consumer-friendly remasters ever made. Welcome back, Commander.
There's a lot to love in this remaster. Eclipsing the 2012's "Ultimate" edition, this version may not contain all of the sequels, but damn if it doesn't make the originals truly fantastic. It might be too much to hope for a complete remaster of all of the sequels, but Command & Conquer Remastered is pure fan service. Welcome back, Commander.
EA and Petroglyph Games have created something truly incredible for fans of the series and the RTS genre.
Command & Conquer Remastered Collection is, simply put, an amazing value for money at only $19.99. Containing two legendary strategy games that have been masterfully touched up, looking great and also including the ability to see the old view for comparison, the games have also been touched up with new modern features as and when required, without sacrificing what made the games the iconic titles that they are. There are ever so slight issues with pathfinding at times and the difficulty can ramp up at an insane level, with the AI almost seeming like it's cheating, but overall this is the best remaster I've ever had the pleasure of playing and one that I can't help but recommend to anybody and everybody, even those brand new to the series.
EA's reverent approach to this remaster is not only visible on the screen but behind the scenes too. Involving the community and involving creative talents behind the scenes show the care and commitment taken here.
At its core, the game just feels great to play, and that's a small detail that a lot of nearly great games miss out on. The remaster polishes almost every system, while somehow leaving the soul of the game perfectly intact. Both longtime fans and first-time commanders would do well to give this one a shot.
These games often feel their age, but their genius shines through, especially in this polished package. This is one of the best remasters around, and an easy recommendation for the nostalgic or the curious.
Command & Conquer Remastered Collection is the gold standard for what a blast from the past should and can be, as Petroglyph's efforts have resulted in a handsome and hefty package of classic strategy, passion and modern-day improvements.
There it is! A nearly perfect remaster that will please as the old school gamers either the newcomers to the C&C series.
