When Iron Man VR tucks the player into Iron Man's armor in action moments, he is unrivaled. It is the closest we have been, as gamers, to putting ourselves in the shoes of a superhero. A very irregular rhythm, also cut by endless and excessively frequent loading screens, distances him from the excellent game that could have become. A wasted opportunity from which, even so, I will look forward to the second part if it occurs.

I cannot help but feel that, while Marvel's Iron Man VR is better than I feared it may be, it limits itself and prevents itself from being a standout title for the system. The fun combat and movement system are held back by repetitiveness, its story is frequently interrupted by massive load times, and progression is almost nonexistent. When not coated in iron, the world around us is pretty but offers little interaction or incentives to explore on your own. Iron Man VR feels restricted by its game design to be little more than a fun wave shooter, when it could have been much more. It is still a very fun game to play in VR and it's one of their better titles, but it never even scratches the heights that it so clearly aimed for.
Iron man VR offers a great combat mechanics and fun gameplay, however the technical limitations of PS VR prevented it from reaching its full potential.

Iron Man VR explores the depth of VR tech as fans of the Amoured Avenger can finally experience the thrill of flight (minus the nausea) and blast away at enemies in their very own Iron Man suit.
It's difficult to judge Marvel's Iron Man VR poorly when a team of developers is pushing the hardware to its very limits. Camouflaj's attempt to put players into the Iron Man suit is a valiant one that offers one of PlayStation VR's most exciting and most memorable experiences to date, even if the VR itself struggles to keep up.
It’s disappointing that, through shortcomings in design and the platform’s limitations, Iron Man VR isn’t a superhero outing worthy of the story told here, nor the Tony Stark that has carried Marvel’s films into this new age of popcorn cinema.
Marvel's Iron Man VR is a pretty enjoyable virtual reality experience, but overall, it is a game with some flaws that keeps it from being a great experience.

This isn’t just one of the most entertaining VR games I’ve played in years, but one of the most entertaining games in general I have played in a very long time. It is hindered by the limited horsepower provided by the PS4 and the PSVR, but what the people at Camouflaj have managed to achieve with so many limitations is absolutely impressive.
Fans of Marvel's character will enjoy impersonating Tony Stark's metallic alter-ego, thank to well crafted controls and compelling flying action. The game, though, soon becomes repetitive, graphics in the city is not very compelling and the scenes with Tony add little to the experience.

Overall, Iron Man VR will provide fans of the titular character with a unique and highly engaging experience. They can build their own suit, store another custom as a loadout, and take to the skies to shoot down villainous foes. Encounters with other Marvel characters and brands are fun for the hardcore lover of the brand but the game blasts off on all cylinders when it hurls gamers into action beats, often with creative beat the clock missions and different objectives to keep things fresh. For PSVR owners, it's a simple and safe choice to spend the $39.99 for this experience, but for those considering investing in picking up the PSVR towards the end of this console generation's shelf life, well, let's hope they really, really like Iron Man.
Marvel’s Iron Man VR is a truly unique experience that I can definitely recommend. This is not a flawless game, and the biggest problems arise from the technological limit of PSVR. We recommend the game for 8 points out of 10. The game will offer you both crazy action, but also the opportunity to look into Stark's villa and fool around as much as Tony Star can. Well, you just can't pull those girls out of the bar.

While Iron Man VR is not the most spectacular or ground breaking VR title available, it does a great job of making you think and feel like you are Tony Stark. The world is big and beautiful and you can get lost in it so easily, that it is astonishing how limited the actual campaign actually is by comparison. It is also nice to see all of the classic characters make their warranted appearances throughout the experience - particularly the banter between two of Tony’s virtual assistants, Gunsmith and Friday. Naturally, it also helps how great everything looks, despite the massive lack of anti-aliasing. Overall, the game is great fun. While there is little reason to return to the game after completing the campaign, it is possible the title could become a household go-to for children and big fans of the character. Iron Man VR does an incredible job of driving home the fact that you can be Iron Man, and that is the only thing that counts in this PlayStation VR experience.
Iron Man VR is a mixed bag that lacks confidence in its identity. When it’s able to work up the energy to trust the player enough to take on a challenge, the gameplay becomes ineffably fun. Unfortunately, this is a rare occurrence that’s limited to either late or post-game challenges.
Marvel's Iron Man VR is one of the best VR experiences on PS4 so far. There is a small lack on perfection in terms of the controlls by using the outdated Move controllers. But considering action, freedom in movement, graphics and vibe of Tony Stark and his iconic alter ego it's an must-buy title for every PSVR owner.

I was hoping Iron Man VR would be the quintessential, possible swan song for the peripheral device. It isn’t quite, but it’s still a solid, popcorn-like story romp.
The end result is an entirely competent game that I finished because I had to, not because I really wanted to.
Marvel's Iron Man VR is a decent game, but one that will only likely appeal to a younger audience or die-hard fans of the property.
Marvel's Iron Man VR is another great PlayStation VR title. If you want to become a world famous superhero, there aren't many better options.
