Ultimately, the GOTY Edition makes a fantastic simulator even more enjoyable and polished, adding a ton of value on top of a package that was already pretty much unbeatable under this point of view.
Despite small quirks, MS Flight Simulator is also a great experience on Xbox Series X/S. Beginners can book a flight with peace of mind.

I don’t think I’m being unfair at all to Microsoft Flight Simulator to say that suggesting a purchase for those outside of the flight sim fanatic crowd is complicated. If you’re an Xbox Game Pass subscriber, however, this is one of the easiest recommendations I can make, even if I’m still a ways out from being able to formulate any sort of final opinion. This is an exciting and enthralling video game experience the likes of which rarely come around, and if you’re already paying Microsoft a subscription fee, there should be nothing stopping you from giving it a try.
Flight Simulator lands on Xbox Series X with an edition that returns to confirm the great talent of the developers of Asobo Studio, authors of a technically surprising conversion. On Microsoft's flagship, the title keeps substantially intact the qualities of a monumental graphic sector, which exploits the power of the cloud to compose extraordinarily suggestive photorealistic scenarios, among the meshes of what is a unique sensory experience of its kind.

Microsoft Flight Simulator is a one-of-a-kind experience made possible by a marriage of clever developers and cutting-edge technology. It’s a gift to the series’ dedicated fans, an appealing entry point for newcomers, and now the bar for the simulation genre.
Overall, Microsoft Flight Simulator is one of the most beautiful games of this generation and it's attention to detail is spectacular. This new version stands above the rest with its incredible landscapes and customizable options that allow for new or veteran players to easily get into the game, regardless of skill level.
The product basically flies on two distinct routes: the first leads to an extreme simulation and suitable for enthusiasts, while the second in the direction of a too simplified experience, without a middle ground. Notwithstanding, in any case, that the primary target of production remains that composed of die-hard fans of simulations, and in this respect there is really little to say: the work done by Asobo and Microsoft on the technical and simulation front is in fact simply colossal and cannot but be rewarded.

A visionary, landmark release that's built with the long haul in mind. It will take a while for PC hardware to catch up with the game's potential, but despite some early technical turbulence the experience remains dazzling.
Despite its flaws and performance problems, Microsoft Flight Simulator rises as the most ambitious and advance flying simulator for the general public. A dream come true for all the Av Geeks out there.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 not only offered me a breathtakingly immersive experience, but it also helped with my fear of flying.

If you are an experienced pilot and already have X-Plane with premium paid content, you won't upgrade to Microsoft Flight Simulator. Well, not right away. Because if we can find problems with Asobo's baby, none of them is insoluble and will undoubtedly see improvements to strive even more towards perfection. As it stands, Flight Simulator is already a benchmark platform that will undoubtedly establish itself as the civil flight simulation of the decade. Checkmate.

Microsoft Flight Simulator is a triumphantly ambitious venture which pushes the boundaries of photorealism in the gaming medium. It requires a lot of horsepower and the support of Azure technology to accomplish such a feat, but these barriers are washed away when you're staring down at endless cities and thick jungles from thousands of feet in the air. It's breathtaking, and I hope it brings such simulators further into the mainstream.
Flight Simulator on Xbox Series X and S is marvel to behold. It might not be that easy to read a cockpit flight plan while lounging on the couch, but it’s a stunning way to watch the world go by with Microsoft Flight Simulator on Xbox.
Microsoft Flight Simulator is a game that you have to play to understand just how incredible of an experience it is. It's an incomparable adventure that consistently surprises and delights. The game provides you with all the tools necessary to conquer the unthinkable task of flying the plane.
