The Last of Us Part I brings everything the game deserved to be in 2013 with visuals, mechanics and features that provide a great experience for both veterans and newbies in this universe of intense stories and outstanding characters. Fully standardized with Part II, this is a remake that we didn't need, at least for now, but one that is very welcome to keep alive one of the most important products in the global gaming industry.

Midnight Fight Express is a dynamic and frenetic fighting game that makes the player feel like the protagonist of an action movie. Despite not being perfect and having some balance issues and excessive unnecessary dialogue, the surprising variety of content and its excellent combat system make this game recommended for all lovers of virtual brawling.

Learning some lessons from the first remake, Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed managed to maintain the quality level with good news. Crypto continues to live crazy adventures full of missions, collectibles, weapons and very cool skills. Unfortunately, technical issues permeate the game and limit an experience that is positive, but could be even better.

Chronicles of Refugia is a good entrypoint to a unique futuristic world. Though the story and sound have a few direction issues, the title experiments with the visual novel format in an interesting way. It's a charming and expressive game, and I'm really curious to see the other characters' perspectives in the next episodes.

Missile Command: Recharged is a beautiful reinterpretation of the classic, which serves very well the proposal to satisfy the nostalgic audience that spent afternoons defending cities on arcade screens or the Atari 2600. The aesthetic and mechanical modernizations are very welcome and really improve the gameplay. As for the audience that doesn't have nostalgic feelings for the classic, perhaps the game is unflattering for the repetitive gameplay and lack of variation. Still, it's a well-made remake of an immortal classic, with basic gameplay but at the same time straight to the point, which can yield good moments of fun.

With a generic open world, an uninteresting cast, and an extensive list of bugs, Saints Row fails in its core mission to introduce the franchise with pageantry to a new generation. Here you can still find traces of the uncompromising creativity that once put the series on the industry and gamers map, but for the most part, Volition's work shows that renewing for the sake of renewing isn't always the best choice.

Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: Burst Forth!! Choro-gon☆ Breath is a really shallow game, especially compared to other modern titles in the genre. Even so, it offers some good content for the fans and instigates those who are curious to know a fun work. But it would have been worthier to invest into having more playable content than [adding more] collectibles.

I think the word that best describes my experience with Phoenotopia: Awakening is “captivating”. It's a massive, enjoyable, warm, beautiful, polished, challenging and thought-provoking adventure that encourages exploration and rewards curiosity. It deserves the full attention of anyone who enjoys digging through 2D adventures to enjoy every detail.

Overall, Dusk Diver 2 improves on several aspects of the first, with a greater focus on improving the fluidity and diversity of the combat system. However, other peripheral aspects, such as sidequests, variety of enemies and side activities, remain without significant improvements. Those who enjoyed the first Dusk Diver will probably have a positive impression of the second one, but it hasn't quite reached the right point yet to break the bubble and reach a wider audience.

Yars: Recharged brings back the bullet hell style of the past in a not-so-creative, yet competent and effective way. The formula replicated by Atari seems to still be working and this type of release always makes us curious to know what else they plan to rescue for current platforms.

Thanks to a competent port, Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered is the best version of one of the best superhero games ever made. Super Bullet Break is a comfortable roguelike deckbuilder and will definitely please some people fond of fanservice-focused works. Unfortunately, the game doesn't try to be anything more than that, and this choice, along with small QOL issues, make the experience nothing too spectacular. Nonetheless, this title can warrant many hours of casual fun.

Two Point Campus has arrived to show that Two Point Studios has a good idea in hand and is able to adapt it to different administrative realities. The game offers a solid management challenge without losing the light and relaxed essence proposed by its predecessor.

Despite having little single-player content, GigaBash should be highlighted for its solid gameplay, addicting local multiplayer and charismatic characters. It's a strong choice to gather some friends and throw them at buildings.

Cursed to Golf is a fun roguelite experience that brings a new, fun and challenging golfing twist. Charming and with a simple gameplay, the already accentuated difficulty could be alleviated thanks to a more efficient use of the game's camera and a checkpoint system that encourages the player to want to finish the game without having to go through so many hardships

Tyrant’s Blessing has an elegant audiovisual, does an excellent job as a tactical game with strong deductive reasoning appeal, has good progression in its level design and good replay factor with characters with unique abilities. This title is easily recommended to any fan of tactical games, and maybe even to some puzzle enthusiasts, but for RPG players, only if they are inclined to like elements of these other two genres as well.

Rollerdrome combines shooting and extreme sports in one spectacular experience. It's exciting to skate through arenas as we shoot and stunt in stages with varied and interesting challenges. The difficulty is steep, requiring a lot of skill and insistence to emerge victorious, but customization options make the game accessible. In addition, the striking visuals, fast-paced soundtrack and countless stylish moments bring identity to the title and its dystopian universe. In the end, Rollerdrome is an unmissable creative competition.

Thymesia is an interesting title for those who already know the soulslike genre but aren't ready or don't want to go through so many hardships in more demanding games of this type. Its main highlight is the agile and competent combat system that encourages the player to maintain an offensive posture most of the time in a more modest, but still very challenging, soulslike experience that will yield good hours of gameplay.

The Tarnishing of Juxtia tries to add good ideas to the already traditional mechanics of soulslike. The main one is the haste system that helps break the monotony of combat and allows the player to be more active and less reactive to enemies. However, the exploration leaves something to be desired for the inaccurate and tedious platforming snippets, and some of its ideas are underdeveloped to the point of being almost useless. Overall, The Tarnishing of Juxtia is a good game despite its issues. However, it will hardly attract the attention of players, as it does not present really striking mechanics that make it stand out among other games of the genre.
