TombStar focuses on the basics to create a reasonable action roguelike adventure. The biggest highlight is the firefights, which have intense moments and a good challenge. Also, the introduction of new features is constant because of a lot of unlockable content. However, the game lacks personality, variety of situations and unique mechanics, which makes the runs repetitive over time. In the end, TombStar is fun, but not very memorable.

OMORI is accessible, has creativity and depth in its narrative design, illustrations with personality and charisma, and a sensitive and well-written cast of characters that brings to life one of the most memorable groups in indie RPGs. DNF Duel is a good fighting game, but nothing more. It has beautiful animations between fights and a very rich universe to use to its advantage. Besides that, the gameplay makes combatants use their creativity to the fullest in combos. But still, it seems that all the meticulousness of the mechanics has not been extended to the game modes and all the rest of the experience that a fighting game can give its fans.

After more than a decade without games, Klonoa is back in good shape. The new collection isn't a perfect package, but both titles offer a lot of fun. Of Bird and Cage presents a very interesting premise that mixes a movie, a metal concert and a game. Unfortunately, it fails to execute this idea, with poorly polished graphics and gameplay and a poor story. The soundtrack is neat and there is a great effort by the developer in this aspect, but it is not enough to sustain the title. It's worth a conceptual experience, but as entertainment, it leaves something to be desired.

F1 22 remains a benchmark in the racing simulation genre with a true-to-life experience of the weather, driving and adrenaline of the motorsport elite. Despite bringing more updates than innovations, it is still a great recommendation for anyone who is a fan of car racing, especially Formula 1. The game does not disappoint in relation to previous years' editions, but it runs the risk of being outdated in 2023 if it doesn't bring something that makes the player more engaged.

Little Noah: Scion of Paradise is a charismatic roguelite with unique ideas. The combat is enticing with its fast-paced action and the system that allows players to combine attacks and spells for combos — a part of the fun is exploring the various possibilities and combinations. Besides that, there are many options to unlock and its colorful atmosphere exudes charisma. The simplicity of the concepts makes it clear that the experience is more casual, though there are options for players who are fond of more intense challenges. Even so, some issues get in the way on the long run, such as its basic level design and limited content variety. The expectation is that these negative points are fixed in the future. Overall, Little Noah: Scion of Paradise is a light and fun experience. It's nothing as elaborate as other roguelites but it executes well everything it sets out to do.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak succeeds in its mission and justifies its existence as a paid expansion through fun monsters, difficult hunts, new biomes and lots of content to explore alone or in multiplayer. Initial progression issues aside, Sunbreak complements what was already great, extending the lifespan of one of those rare games, which in its complexity and abundance of features are capable of holding audiences for years.

Redout 2 delivers an experience with high speed and solid gameplay. The experience is difficult thanks to the complex gameplay and unique mechanics. Dedication and customization of controls are the solutions to make each race fun and properly competitive. Beautiful vehicles and tracks and a first-rate soundtrack complement the game, which is a great choice for fans of the genre and of great challenges.

Disgaea 6 Complete brings with it a fundamental evolution to the strategy RPG series. With the possibility of automating combat, it has never been so easy to dive in and enjoy the rewarding feeling of the series. Pocky & Rocky Reshrined is a honest new take on a classic from the 16-bit era bringing back that desire to play a challenging and fun game with a friend for many hours. However, for modern standards, it doesn't offer enough content to keep you engaged for long. It lacks the multiplayer option at first, doesn't offer extras to keep you coming for more and it may even feel like there isn't much to do after completing it once. It's nostalgic but that isn't enough nowadays.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge offers quality brawling with some retro touches. Its biggest highlight is the agile and accessible gameplay that allows you to create impressive combos, and the variety of moves and enemies brings diversity to combat. In addition, multiplayer for up to six players is frenetic and chaotic, making it a great option to enjoy with friends. The new Turtles adventure is heavily inspired by the past and even modernizes some concepts. However, the title is too conservative – which is a shame, as other current beat 'em ups have already proven that it is possible to innovate. In any case, the nostalgic ambiance with elaborate pixel art visuals and the uncomplicated action are enough reasons to check out the game.

Beethoven & Dinosaur's debut game has good inspiration and a lot of personality to be observed from some of the tracks, psychedelic environments and the tone that balances sensibility and good humor in Francis' mad space odyssey. On the other hand, the rhythm and platformer mechanics' development is too simple and unappealing. Character and plot developments do have a few highlights, but it's still too basic, weak and predictable, and even its sound and visual aspects have a few issues. The Artful Escape is recommended for peopel looking for a platform-adventure with unique science fantasy art direction in a musical context. However, it's not recommended if the person would like a platformer with deep mechanics, and even less so for someone looking for a focus on rhythm mechanics.
