Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is very much a continuation of what Insomniac Games built with the last game but when that game was a game of the year contender is saying that such a bad thing? It’s one of the best launch titles I’ve ever had the pleasure of playing and it shows off the graphical, performance, and fast loading capabilities of the PlayStation 5. The story and world activities are also a bit more focused this time around due to the shorter run time which is a good thing in my opinion. Anyone picking up a PlayStation 5 should be suiting up as Miles as it is nothing short of a heart warming fun time.

The Massive success of Marvel's Spider-Man was not a random win for Insomniac Games and the greatness of Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is just another proof for an undeniable fact; Spidey's Main video games are in the best hands possible.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a solid installment from the friendly neighbor that shows us that the city of Manhattan has a lot of potential to offer new and varied stories of this young Spidey.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales is an interesting spin-off that shows a young superhero and is an excellent forecaster of the possibilities of the new generation. A new Spider-Man is born before our eyes.

Miles Morales presents his more personal story as a young Spider-Man trying prove himself as New York's hero. But the game recycles too much of the original's content and consept.

But it's certainly no less impressive. That intimacy lends itself perfectly to a story about a vibrant, tight-knit community with a rich and storied history; a story about gentrification and misguided attempts to "fix" things that aren't broken; a story about a mixed-race kid looking for his place in a world that always seems to see him as "other", and finding that place in the welcoming, open arms of Harlem.

Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales offers a fun story in a streamlined adventure that builds on the great foundation of its predecessor, despite a few performance issues on the PS4.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales may be smaller than the previous game, but it's a great experience nonetheless whether it's the thrilling narrative or the action-packed gameplay.

Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is relatively short, but it is still exceptional. Miles' gameplay manages to be different enough from Peter, even though the base of both is similar. The story is interesting, but a little predictable and much less "epic". Despite these points, it is an excellent addition to the PS4 (and now PS5) library.

My only real gripe about Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is that I wish there were more of it. Miles and the rest of his circle are absolutely capable of being compelling enough to carry a game for twice the length. I just like this kid, and I think a lot of other people will, too.

Long story short, Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a stellar game, deserving of a perfect score. However, it’s not without faults. Still, this new entry to the web-slinging series is what players shouldn’t miss out on. The teenage Miles Morales may be new to the superhero business, but people behind the game definitely aren’t.

Without a doubt, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a much more enjoyable game than the original and it shows off PS5's performance brilliantly. It's too bad that it isn't longer because I loved every minute of it.

Everyone has their own controversial opinion, and this is mine! Yes, Miles Morales is better than the original! Despite being shorter than the first Spider-Man and obviously having less content, Miles Morales offers a more concise experience, taking full advantage of everything it has to offer. One of the best hero games I've ever had the pleasure of playing.

Much shorter in length than Marvel's Spider-Μan, but more compact and immensely entertaining, Miles Morales is a must buy, regardless of whether you had experience with its predecessor.

Seriously, this is an amazing game. It may not last that long, but it also never comes close to wearing out its welcome. Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is an excellent sequel to an equally excellent game, and now that it's out on PC, it's absolutely worth your time (even if that time is over far too soon).

Miles Morales is an intense streamlined experience, that provides some much-needed perspective on the ongoing story of the Spider-Man saga. With the sequel coming up soon, where an epic team-up of the spider-men is teased, this part of the story becomes quintessential to understanding where Miles comes from, and how he has grown. With powers and a personality that set him apart from Peter Parker, Miles Morales uplifts himself from the misnomer that he is just the other Spider-Man. This is a fresh take, which makes him equally important to the story that Insomniac wants to passionately tell. Miles, from the game, might sometimes make a misstep owing to the fact that he is an amateur, but the game does not. Insomniac ain’t new to this, and the mastery with which they wield this game shows that they are in the big leagues now.

A likeable protagonist, new abilities and a personal, down-to-earth story made up for the fact Spider-Man: Miles Morales is shorter than its 2018 predecessor. It’s a game with enough qualities to stand on its own, one that proves that Miles isn’t just some fluke character being pushed by Marvel over the past few years. Not only that, but this PC port is the real deal, with some pretty good optimization and performance.

When I first started the game, the surroundings hit me before the character models did. It looked pretty flawless, and as hard as it is for me to say, even better than when I played it on the PS5. The character models are just as impressive as the previous original game and DLCs, and though the new Peter still looks weird, I am not one to get annoyed by minor changes as others seem to be. One of the things I like doing is going to locations of other Marvel characters to find little Easter Eggs, like the Avengers Tower or the Sanctum Sanctorum.

Miles Morales finally makes it to the PC and brings with it hours of fun, whether fighting with new powers or simply strolling around Christmas New York. Accumulating the knowledge from previous ports, the experience is up to each person's discretion, with the sky set by our specifications.
