Rain on Your Parade Reviews
Almost everything about Rain On Your Parade is geared towards giving the player a good time. A mischief simulator packed with wise cracks and pop culture references, it’s a lot of fun to play. Not all of the humour lands but enough of it does to make this an easy recommendation to anyone who liked Untitled Goose Game.
Rain on your Parade is a feel-good game that will hopefully make you smile as much as it did for us. While light on a challenge, if you’re having one of those rainy days yourself, this game might just be the ticket to bring a little sunshine to your day. Rain on your Parade is funny, charming and overall brilliant, one of my favourite gaming experiences this year so far.
Rain on your Parade is an absolute delight, with its simple yet creative rain-pouring antics and brilliant level design making for a memorable (and undoubtedly unique) experience. I loved completing all of its levels and its many absurd objectives, whilst the little things such as customising Cloudy’s appearance just added to the fun. It’d be easy to dismiss Rain on your Parade as another gimmick-fuelled game, but it’s so much more than that; it’s a whimsical and wonderful romp that’ll delight both youngsters and adults alike.
More than just a funny game, Rain on Your Parade is a fun game. Its absolutely idiotic premise works, not only because of how cathartic it is, but also because the developers took their time to cram it with as many settings, objectives, and destructible objects you can imagine. It offers a staggering amount of bang for your buck and will give you a big dumb smile from beginning to end.
The obvious comparison here genre-wise would be Untitled Goose Game, but whereas that game’s value was primarily derived from its meme potential and novelty, Rain on Your Parade also brings to the table a constant barrage of creativity and interesting new gameplay twists that make 99% of other games look lazy by way of comparison. This is the type of game that makes me wish that I did awards or something because it really is head and shoulders above the competition. Be sure not to sleep on this one—Rain on Your Parade is a special game.
If you ever wanted to recreate the hit TV show, The Office, playing as a cloud and filling up coffee, then you have come to the right place.
Rain on Your Parade is a wonderful little puzzle game with a lot of heart, imagination and some occasionally laugh out loud moments. While it won’t last forever, there’s more than enough here to enjoy on a rainy day and would certainly bring its own kind of sunshine.
Rain on Your Parade is an extremely fun and playful cloud simulator, excellent to be played with children. It will cause laughter in all types of players, be it casual with little contact with the gamer universe, or that hardcore player who will understand all subtle (and less so) references to the gaming industry itself. After all, who doesn't like to cause a good deal of confusion? Or raining coffee?

Rain on Your Parade is the weather-based equivalent of Untitled Goose Game. You play as a mischievous cloud – aptly named “Cloudy” – whose goal is to annoy anyone and everyone who happens to be standing under them. If you think raining on people is a little dull, when you add in thunder, snow, and copious amounts of acid, petrol, fire, and even a little “Tactical Espionage Action” then Rain on Your Parade brings a whole new meaning to “cloud-based gaming”.
Rain on Your Parade is a delightfully charming puzzle game that will super-soak players with its incredible creativity. Although I had plenty of fun breezing through on my own, I can absolutely see streamers and youtubers drawing in an eager audience, wondering what hilariously designed level awaits them next. If you love a novel experience that doesn’t take itself seriously but is genuine fun every step of the way (or you just really like precipitation-based gameplay), look no further than Rain on Your Parade.
While most people spend so much of their lives consciously trying to be kind and courteous with others that isn’t to say they can’t have a mean streak in them...
As far as silly games where you mess with people go, Rain on Your Parade is a solid indie that's sure to make you smile.
I enjoyed Rain on Your Parade, largely due to its consistent creativity and invention. This is a profoundly silly game that operates in that often untouched comedic space in video games. Sure, not every joke lands, and sometimes the goals are underexplained, but that also just sounds like how I could describe every comedy I've ever experienced. I welcome more video game comedies like Rain on Your Parade.
Rain on Your Parade is a simple, funny little game. Its levels aren’t challenging, but many of them are clever and humorous. It’s especially worth picking up if you have kids that just like to wreak havoc in virtual worlds. But regardless of your age, there’s plenty of joy to be had in hitting people with thunder and turning them into big snowballs. What’s not to like about that?
Rain On Your Parade is a super cute and fun game full of great references and amazingly cute characters. Who doesn't want to see a cute vengeful cloud with a frog on his head?
Rain On Your Parade is a clever little puzzle game that references and spoofs dozens of popular video games.
Rain on Your Parade does what it sets out to do. It’s chaotic, ridiculous and allows you to ruin the day. The lack of cohesion between target market and style does make this slightly confusing to recommend. However, players of all ages will enjoy the simplistic but enjoyable gameplay. It’s a cute indie game with a great visual style but in many ways it also misses the mark just slightly. It lacks immersion with the jarring and seemingly pointless cutscenes and the jumping in and out of load screens. With a few design changes, Rain on Your Parade has the potential to gain better continuity and appeal to a wider audience. There’s something special and engaging here, but in its current state, it leaves me a little frustrated, confused and expecting more.
Rain on Your Parade is an excellent little game and is well worth anyone's time. It's cute, it's funny, and I've not played anything quite like it before. For me as a speedrunner, I'm always looking for new games to throw in my arsenal, so it says a lot to me about the quality of a game when I find one I seriously want to dedicate countless hours to. But I've certainly found such a game here. I believe just about everyone would be able to get some enjoyment out of Rain on Your Parade, and I might even go so far as to say it's my favorite indie I've played thus far this year.
