Diablo II: Resurrected Reviews
Diablo 2: Resurrected is pure nostalgia, but one that does not disappoint. A fantastic remastering work, which respects to the maximum consequences the essence of the original game. That is the only one that new players will find: a hard experience that shows the passage of time.

Resurrected comes with a few quality of life changes, but not nearly enough to bring it up to par with most ARPGs in 2021.
Other things like being able to stack gems or potions in your stash.
Diablo II: Resurrected delivers on the promise of a rebuilt original, without tampering with the soul of what made it amazing in the first place. With completely remastered graphics, all-new cutscenes, and console cross-progression, Diablo II: Resurrected takes us back to Hell, and it's every bit as amazing as it was when we played it 20 years ago.
I want to review this game. But I also want to be cognizant of the alleged awfulness done by men in power to Activision Blizzard workers who merely wanted to do their job. Tasked with remastering a classic, originally created by this same beleaguered corporation, Vicarious Visions does not deserve this taint. The question is whether Vicarious Visions succeeded in its task.
Blizzard had to strike a careful balance of changing just enough, but not too much, which is no easy feat. Though in a lot of ways it feels like unearthing a relic like that in which you find during your dungeon-crawling exploits. Its dated design is solved by its sequel or other games within the action RPG genre. Diablo II: Resurrected has the same deep customization it’s known for. In addition, the new visuals modernize it for both PC and consoles. No matter where you play, this is the best version of the classic dungeon crawler. This remaster made in such a way to ensure that Diablo II: Resurrected is played for the next 20 plus years.
I know that hardcore Diablo 2 fans don’t want to even entertain the idea of Diablo 3 seeping into their beloved game; I totally get that sentiment and don’t want a watered-down version of Diablo 2 either. However, a few modern touches, addressing the three biggest pain points I mentioned above would have gone a long way to properly resurrecting Diablo 2 and making it a premier ARPG in 2021.
Diablo II: Resurrected is a product that appeals towards the longing of the community. It adds new functions that bring it up to speed with modern games, but at the same time, it still feels like an old-school title, which might alienate some people.

Diablo II: Resurrected preserves the original game while still showing just why it was considered a legendary game in the first place.
Diablo II Resurrected manages to give a new breath of life to the classic of 2000 with a new graphic layer of the highest quality and some tweaks in elements that make it more comfortable to play, but that do not modify its essence. And most importantly, its excellent arrival on consoles has made the title more accessible than ever. Vicarious Visions has once again proven that they are one of the best studios when it comes to remastering these classics, and we hope that they manage to stay out of the spiral of terror that is currently ravaging Activision-Blizzard.

Diablo II: Resurrected is a revitalizing experience that blends old and new together, simultaneously showing us where we have been and how far we have come.
This is primarily for those who whittled away many a night in front of their PC two decades ago raiding dungeons, bludgeoning skeletons, and swimming in glorious loot. A remaster for archival purposes if you will. The only modern stain on the original tapestry has been the online issues that plagued the game’s launch, but even those will be but a distant memory before long.
Diablo 2: Resurrected brings a beloved classic up today's graphical standards, but it overlooks 20 years of obvious flaws. It's still a very satisfying action RPG, but you couldn't get away with these problems a decade ago, much less today.
Diablo 2: Resurrected is the definitive experience of the title, improving just enough to further enhance the masterpiece that it already was. We have before us a graphically polished game that has nothing to envy of new generation titles. We will enjoy hours more than enough with the main campaign, with the expansion and repeating the game over and over again to be able to try all the classes that we have available. It is a must have in your collection despite the fact that we do not find any substantial playable improvement in relation to the original game.

Its main flaw is that it may be a game focused on fans and not so open to new players. All in all, I think anyone who enjoys ARPG will find in Diablo 2: Resurrected a game that they can enjoy enormously, and it is certainly a recommended purchase.

Diablo 2: Resurrected is a great remake of a real classic. It looks and feels just how I remember it from playing in the early 2000s, but with cooler lighting and sharper graphics. It has a few control issues with when using a controller, but it's still a must-play for anyone who used to play it and misses it, and a strong recommendation to anyone else who likes action RPGs, dark and grim atmospheres, or who just wants to experience a treasure from the now distant past.
The smell of death surrounds me ...again. Diablo II is back with great new graphics and cutscenes. Amusing for old players, less attractive for younger generations.

This resurrection won’t convert you into being a fan if you didn’t like the original D2, but if you’re coming from that game, you’ll enjoy the ride.
Diablo 2: Resurrected both benefits and suffers from its faithfulness to the original title, but overall provides an adventure full of satisfying gameplay and fun exploration
Diablo II: Resurrected recreates the best parts of the original game with a fresh coat of paint. However, the core gameplay design feels a bit dated.
