While Death's Door borrows a lot of elements from many other games, it mashes them all together and refines them into its own thing. Not one single element feels undercooked and the result is a mysterious world you'll instantly be lost within. Outside of the odd frame dip in certain situations, we absolutely loved Death's Door. It's a game filled with surprises, nods, humour, and moves at such a pace we could barely put the controller down. Games this well-crafted don't come along very often, but when they do, they're something to celebrate. Death's Door deserves all the attention it will most likely get, and is a contender for one of 2021's best games.
Ultimately it’s the boss fights you’ll remember by the time the credits roll on Death’s Door. There’s more of them than you’ll probably expect, and each and every one of them is wonderfully designed. They can be tricky to defeat – one or two of them particularly so – but when you emerge victorious the feeling is akin to overcoming a boss in Dark Souls. Needless to say, if you love games like The Legend of Zelda and don’t mind a bit more of a challenge, be sure to give Death’s Door your attention.
Wondrous game with a sincere, bittersweet story, charming characters, and incredibly emotional soundtrack.

Death's Door is a streamlined action adventure experience that finds a groove and sticks with it. With a low asking price and high level of polish, fans of this genre should find the little crow's soul reaping journey quite endearing.
Death Door is a game that overflows with quality in each of its sections. With a fun and addictive gameplay, a graphic aspect that has nothing to envy to the big productions and a fairly wide soundtrack that fits perfectly with each situation and presenting itself as one of the candidates for play of the year.

Death's Door is a gorgeous action RPG inspired by The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening and Souls Franchise. It has well-made hand-designed interconnected levels with a delicate combat system and elegant puzzles. Death's Door also succeeds in audiovisual aspects and delivers an unbelievably coherent experience. This game is an indie masterpiece and a must-buy.

The soundtrack is also fantastic, with composer David Fenn managing to strike a perfect balance between high energy action and peaceful contemplation. Not to mention the crow you're controlling is just a cute little bird. If you are a fan of action games and have an itch for one that will kill around 8 hours, Death's Door is a pretty good place to clock in and get to work.
Death’s Door is an excellent action-adventure gem, balancing solemnity with laughs and moderate difficulty alongside forgiving mechanics. Its combat is pure and satisfying, and the light-RPG elements make progression enjoyable. What I admired most, though, is how all of these elements work in tandem as Death’s Door offers an adventure that feels fresh. From the exquisite environments and discoverable upgrades/collectibles to the delightful characters, you won’t wanna miss out.
Death’s Door is a very polished and lovingly crafted action adventure game. It is seemingly a very personal game from the developers and it is steeped with creative ideas in regards to characters and designs. The gameplay is somewhat vanilla, but the ambiance and style elevate the material.
Acid Nerve has demonstrated an understanding of the Adventure RPG genre and has absolutely nailed its execution with Death's Door. Combat is fun and fast-paced, world exploration is rewarding, and the story while light-hearted hides some deeper meaning. Do yourself a favor and pick up Death's Door.
Death's Door feels great to play, it's beautiful to look at, and the characters and world are beyond memorable – clock in and get your reap on.
