OlliOlli World Reviews
OlliOlli World is a fantastic addition to the indie landscape that warrants any platforming fan to give it a go, but players uncomfortable with fighting game special moves, or players that don’t like challenging titles will have a rough time.
The Kingdom of Radlandia is full of fun and shows pretty well how Roll7 keeps growing and improving.

OlliOlli World plays just as great as its extreme sports predecessors, but its pandering presentation makes the whole package feel like a letdown.
Forgiving it may be, but OlliOlli World has heaps of challenges to complete, and getting through all of the objectives in the last level is no easy feat. The new hand-drawn graphical art style makes it easier to have branching paths and a better sense of depth than ever before, which allows for grander levels and more mechanics to be added. The controls are simple enough, and quick reactions will be needed to fully master all the levels by stringing together one long-combo throughout. An absolute joy to play, and while it is different from the original two, its evolution was much needed to bring the title forward to the current generation of consoles.
Highly addictive and visually stunning, OlliOlli World is the definition of entertainment.

OlliOlli World offers an enjoyable easy to learn/hard to master experience. Your love-hate relationship with the game is partially spoiled by its technical flaws.

OlliOlli World continues to kick flip its way across a variety of colorful and imaginative levels. Returning fans will be pleased with this familiar experience sporting a new art style, but newcomers may be put off by eventually increasing difficulty and repetitive trial-and-error nature of the levels.
If you're looking for a simple, fun experience to empty your mind for a limited time, OlliOlli World is highly suggested.

OlliOlli World is a game that is full of personality and will challenge you to your core. It's hard, but a ton of fun and very rewarding, however I'm warning you, expect a lot of swearing!
In most cases though, you should know what you’re signing up for here – this is an addictive but challenging 2.5D skateboarding game. The story and characters gel the colourful levels together, and the avatar customisation and unlocks add personality. One other thing that will keep you coming back is post-codes – these generate levels for you to play on, and you can share them with other players. Simply put, OlliOlli's newest entry is god-tier, and places it up there with the best skateboarding games on the market.
The animation is impressively overhauled, the level design is intricate while evolving, and the gameplay is as smooth as butter with even more ways to flow. There's something to be said about iterative evolution but this is on another level of progression that makes the older games harder to go back to. Trust me, I tried and it was a grind.
If you enjoyed Roll7’s previous OlliOlli games, it’s safe to say that you’ll love their evolution into OlliOlli World. Even if you weren’t a fan, there’s more than enough here to entice new players. The controls are accessible and easy to get to grips with, though there’s still plenty of depth for advanced players. Combine that with beautiful visuals, a kicking soundtrack and wonderfully animated characters, and what more could you possibly want? It’s never felt better to land a truly epic trick.
OlliOlli World is one of the finest skateboarding games around. The gameplay is fun, intuitive and simple enough for newcomers to enjoy while having complex layers that will have skate veterans everywhere grinding to master. With plenty of items to unlock the incentive to replay levels goes beyond beating a high score. The multiplayer modes are simple but highly effective, keeping skaters busy long after beating the game, which will be no easy feat thanks to in-level quests and score challenges. Even when the story begins to drag as the game goes on it barely takes away from how incredible OlliOlli World is. Riding through Radlandia is a trip well worth taking.
OlliOlli World is a delightfully charming little platformer. It has its own sense of style, and it's dripping with personality. The gameplay is a delightful mix that's easy to pick up and play but difficult to master. If you're looking for something that scratches the Tony Hawk bug, then OlliOlli World succeeds in spades. Just don't get frustrated when your near-perfect run is ruined by a stray cat sitting at the very end of the level.
I thoroughly enjoyed OlliOlli World, especially the fact that its gameplay remains instinctual yet challenging which allows anyone to have fun whether you merely want to skate or aim for the top of the leaderboards. Plus, its trippy visuals and music are spot-on.
A great game for fun that is worth your time.
Given the overall lack of sports-oriented titles on the Switch in general, let alone from indie developers, it’s always a blessing to get something new to check out on the system...
OlliOlli World shows itself as the magnum opus of a team that knows exactly what they are doing, with super solid gameplay and original visuals, all with a creativity and variety that make this one of the most fun arcade games in recent times. A nice surprise in a month full of great games.
