Gran Turismo 7 is a "real-driving simulation" revelation, taking full advantage of the PlayStation 5's power and the DualSense controller to create one of the best racing games ever.
Gran Turismo 7 is an excellent racing simulator for those looking for a more realistic experience or to learn more about cars. There's a ton of things to do, cars to collect, and tracks to master with the game's great driving model. While you can feel the sheer passion the developers have for the subject, it does come with some flaws like very slow and tedious progression gates and persistent microtransaction prompts.
Many will look at the microtransactions and be instantly turned off by what's on offer from Gran Turismo 7. However, if you can look past the cash grab, it is a racing game capable of generating some amazing and intense racing experiences that even fully fledged racing sims would be jealous of.
When you’re in it and smashing around the track against expert AI or other players, this is where Gran Turismo 7 excels. All of the weirdness that Polyphony Digital has bolted on to this quality car game fades away into obscurity. But sadly, that’s not all this is. Instead, it’s a jumble of well-made car racing and strange design decisions, coupled with his tonally odd take on what it means to be a car nerd. For now though, Gran Turismo 7 is the best console racing game for the masses, at least until another contender comes along.
On PlayStation 5, Gran Turismo 7 shines because there is simply no competition. Against the background of the whole genre, however, it is a long overdue premiere of a slightly outdated game.

Gran Turismo 7 is probably the best racing simulation game on the market right now, something that every car fanatic needs to own. Gran Turismo 7 allows you to fine-tune everything from the motor, to the circuits, to the paint, and more. Everything can be made just the way you want it to be. Gran Turismo 7 is also the BEST looking game on the PlayStation 5… PERIOD. Everything is reflective, from the paint to the chrome on the wheel covers… It's AMAZING. If you're a racing fanatic, then this is the game for you.
Gran Turismo 7 seeks to ignite a passion for vehicles. From exceptional realism to the numbing amount of customization options, GT7 is an ocean of driving simulation that does its best to ensure newcomers won't drown but enthusiasts will be happily swept up.

It will be hard to find a game that is as lovingly crafted as Gran Turismo 7. The king of racers is back, and what a triumphant return it is.
Gran Turismo 7 is a car-lover's dream. Whether you love cars already or have just started your journey into being a car person, GT7 wants to welcome you to the community with open arms, get you up to speed and give you everything it can to help you enjoy cars in whatever ways it's able. It has a wealth of car history to share, incredible feeling driving and some of the best visuals I've seen in a driving game. There are some cars I wish were included (Mount Panorama and no Aussie V8 Supercars? Come on, mate!) and the always online requirement might be a deal breaker for some, but even with all that Gran Turismo 7 is the friendliest, most approachable driving simulation I've played with all the depth of options you'd expect for seasoned car enthusiasts.
Gran Turismo 7 is essentially a celebration of the series’ 25th anniversary, melding features old and new and presenting it on next-generation hardware. Polyphony Digital’s sheer love of cars and obsession with detail flows through every single part of this game. The forced main campaign could be a turn off for some, but it is countered by their use of subtle, innovative haptic feedback and the experience of driving these legendary cars around legendary tracks. There is a method to the madness. The world is quickly moving on from fossil fuels and combustion engines, but there is no denying that these are some beautiful machines… and this is a beautiful game.
With excellent visuals and loads of content, Gran Turismo 7 VR is an absolute triumph for PlayStation VR2 thanks to a free update that brings an already excellent driving experience to a new level in virtual reality.
There are some misgivings to find within its design, on and off the track, but Polyphony's meticulous craftmanship handedly surpasses them.
Gran Turismo 7 is a gorgeous celebration of all things driving. It's splendid presentation and 400 + car homage to the world's favorite vehicles is a car lover's dream. What it isn't, however, is a true 'real driving simulator.' While easily a step up from GT Sport in offerings and presentation, those looking for an exhilarating gameplay experience will likely be disappointed.
After all, videogames serve to fulfil fantasy, right? So why not let players jump between stage rallies and supercars; between the garage and the showroom?.
Gran Turismo 7 is a summary of the development of the Gran Turismo series over the past 25 years, with all the core strengths of the series retained and further polished. Kazunori Yamauchi has created a "car city" with plenty of game content and fun for the players. His love for car culture is reflected everywhere in the game. Although Gran Turismo 7 does not have many surprises and innovations, it is worthy of the title of "synthesizer of 25-years-old Gran Turismo series".

Racing fans have waited a long time for the arrival of Gran Turismo 7, and I believe the wait was worth it.
Gran Turismo 7 embraces the career mode and presents a whole new aesthetics for menus and competitions. Nevertheless, it is a game that refuses the modernity and chooses to be identical to the first GT in terms of IA inconsistency.
