God of War Ragnarök Reviews
Kratos and Atreus are the heart and steel that forge God of War Ragnarök into a flawless and fitting end to the Norse Saga.
I highly recommend God of War Ragnarök to all fans of the series and especially to those who have played its predecessor. You will find lovable characters that you will be very attached to. It is, in my opinion, an essential in any PlayStation library.

God of War Ragnarock paints a more authentic vision of Norse mythology that really sets it apart from the more glamorous portrayals we are familiar with. The subtle ways Kratos tries to "be better" combine to form an enlightening evolution of a man that was once nothing more than an instrument of war. Unfortunately, the combat is not nearly as flawless as the story with aspects such as dodging and switching weapons lacking responsiveness. This is not the next-gen experience you might be waiting for but it doesn't stop it from being one of the most impressive games in the series and a satisfying conclusion to the Norse saga.
God of War Ragnarök’s successes with its finale can be applied to the game as a whole since it is also an exquisite end to this Norse saga.
The nature of Ragnarök is what sets it apart not only from its first few titles but from the 2018 version as well. God of War Ragnarök is perhaps the purest sequel ever produced in recent times, a stunning refinement of everything that made God of War memorable. The form may feel familiar, but Ragnarök‘s self-assured storytelling and breathtaking worldbuilding combined with its pitch-perfect gameplay make for an essential PlayStation exclusive.
God of War Ragnarök is without question, this year’s greatest gaming experience. Arguably one of the best stories ever told is set to be unleashed into our great medium. From aesthetical design, to technically speaking a gaming gargantuan that’s proven bountiful in not just gameplay, but delivering the ultimate adventure.
Epic, emotional and enduring. A mind-blowing journey through Norse mythology that goes beyond what we could have hoped for.

This is a must-buy for PS5 owners this winter.
God of War Ragnarok is an example of sequel excellence and cements its place among the gaming gods of greatness.
Though it is hard to be certain that this is the greatest game of all time, It definitely has its rightful place around the masterpieces. The relatively simple narrative has become more complex but solid, characters' individuality and Santa Monica's directing skills combined to show the best-ever narrative delivery. The level design and combat sequence, which were close to the best, have also been able to take a step further. The one and only drawback to this game is that this is the last of its great saga.

God of War Ragnarök isn't free from weak spots, but the game is better in nearly every aspect than its great predecessor. There is more variety in combat. There are more spectacular boss fights. And you will visit all nine regions of Norse Mythology, all of them looking amazing on PS5. There is no way around this great adventure, if you love the series, action games in general and own a current PlayStation.

God of War: Ragnarok is the definition of a sequel and the ultimate advertisement for what videogames have come to. It's the block buster that puts to shame similar productions in other entertainment industries.

God of War Ragnarok is almost perfect in every aspect but sadly its pacing is inconsistent. Often its story gets thrown to the side in favour of hours of exploration and its last act is horribly rushed. However, it is incredible in every other aspect.
God of War Ragnarok is one of the most incredible action-adventure games of all time. It also surpasses the previous game in every possible way by telling a heartfelt, human story surrounded by some of the most breathtaking action and battles in any video game I’ve played.
God of War Ragnarok is the perfect sequel. With varied and spectacular action, a beautiful world to explore, and an epic yet intimate story, it improves on the first game in every single way.
God of War Ragnarok is a must-play. There are no two ways about it. It is one of the best games out there. So I hope for your sake you don’t get spoiled and enjoy the game for the first time like a lot of us reviewers did and the way the devs wanted you to experience it.
God of War Ragnarok is an epic and perfect adventure at all levels, both playable and audiovisual. We are facing the best game of the year and the best in the current PS5 catalog. It offers us very good story that you won't want to finish, with secondary missions just as entertaining as the main plot, as well as well-constructed characters that transmit across the screen. Added to all this are some well-constructed puzzles and agile and different combat.

Kratos and Atreus set off on yet another great adventure. This time the stakes manage to be even higher, and we get to watch both characters continue to develop into some of the most interesting and well-written figures in gaming. PS5 version reviewed.
I could spend hours upon hours talking about God of War Ragnarök, but at the end of the day, the only thing that should matter to you is if it's any good -- and it is. It's better than good; it’s a downright masterpiece. I know that word get's thrown around everywhere, and a lot, but I genuinely mean it. The story is beyond anything I would have imagined, and by the time I finished watching every line of credit roll, I couldn't help but give everyone a standing ovation. Like the first game, God of War Ragnarök will forever be etched in my memory as a timeless experience. A remarkable, unforgettable journey that I’ll keep talking about for the years to come and probably for the rest of my life. I could not be more confident in saying this, but I’ve found my Game of the Year for 2022.
