The Last of Us Part I Reviews
The Last of Us is truly one of gaming's best, but the PC port is not the ideal way to experience it. Eventually, The Last of Us Part 1 on PC will be in a state where it lives up to or even exceeds its PlayStation 5 counterpart, but right now it's difficult to recommend. Buried beneath the poor performance is still one of the best games ever made, though, so PC gamers who don't mind playing with Medium graphics may still be able to enjoy the incredible story and gameplay if they absolutely can't wait for everything to be fixed.
The PlayStation classic remains out of reach on PC due to debilitating performance issues.
A gorgeous and well-honed remake of one of the biggest boppers in the PlayStation pantheon, The Last of Us Part I is the best way to play – or replay – Naughty Dog's esteemed survival classic.
The Last of Us Part 1 brings the classic title to PS5 with a major visual overhaul but the core experience remains largely unchanged.
The question you have to ask yourself before picking up Part 1, then, is not only whether a feast for the eyes is a meal worth paying for, but whether that meal is going to completely satisfy your appetite, particularly if you've already had your fill of the original recipe.
The Last of Us Part I manages to tell a harrowing story of loss and redemption that still holds up despite some of its dated level design. However, its PC port is a big letdown.

The Last of Us is very much a product of its time, and there’s certainly issues there. But now that I’ve seen how well it’s aged overall, I can really appreciate it — not as a cultural relic or a stepping stone, but as its own grisly, beautiful creation.
If this wasn’t a remake, I firmly believe it would be right at the top of Game of the Year articles as we assess things over a bit of Christmas Pudding. The PS5 has had some brilliant games already, no doubt, but as a fan of The Last of Us, Part 1 is my new favourite exclusive on the console.
Graphical upgrades and smarter enemies make this version of TLOU the best one yet, but those updates fail to address an issue at this game's core: TLOU was originally designed for the PlayStation 3, and at its worst, TLOU Pt 1 still feels like a PlayStation 3 game.
The Last of Us Part I’s real problem is that The Last of Us Remastered exists and doesn’t provide a substantial reason to choose it over Remastered given its pricing and missing content. The Last of Us remains a timeless classic, but The Last of Us Part I isn’t quite the must-have definitive version of the title.
The Last of Us Part I is a nearly flawless PS5 remake of an exceptional game
There’s nothing wrong with paying a high price to gild the lily – but there’s nothing wrong with not wanting to do so, either. I think The Last of Us Part 1 will make a great addition to the casual TLOU fan’s library when it inevitably goes on sale, and maybe the PC players when it launches on that platform as well.
The Last of Us Part I on PC is still suffering from issues, and while most have been put to bed, it's still worth waiting a little longer.
The Last of Us Part I is a technological marvel, making Naughty Dog's classic story of survival better than it has ever been before. The visuals are sublime as is the audio, and all of the other changes make this well worth playing all over again.
The Last of Us Part I is a beautiful thing to behold, honouring your recollection by surpassing it.
The Last of Us Part 1 is arguably the best possible way to relive one of the best stories the industry has ever seen, even if you've had the chance to try the game on more than one occasion in its previous version. Immersively redesigned environments with attention to detail, facial expressions, character models, and cinematic scenes that make the original game look like a title from ancient times, and improved AI with different battle scenarios. on the other hand, the animations remained the same without any improvements, and the remake relied on the same gameplay mechanics of the original title, ignoring the improvements witnessed in the second part, and the most disappointing point was the abandonment of the Factions mode, despite it being one of the pillars of the original game.

The Last of Us: Part 1 is the definitive version of Naughty Dog’s classic. Sadly, I’m afraid the conversation, at least among the old guard who first took Ellie under their wing all those years ago, will hone in on the economics rather than the breakthrough emotional storytelling and the grounded gameplay.
The Last os Us: Part I updates the original adventure of Joel and Ellie in audiovisual and playable terms, beyond what many of us expected when its development was announced. Enhancing its emotional side and improving the gameplay. In addition, it comes with some other juicy extra for anyone who likes to delve into the development of the work. So this version becomes, in its own right, the best way to enjoy The Last os Us and Left Behind.
