Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection is a must-play title for retro game lovers or turtle fans. Having all these games from all the different consoles in one collection is amazing - so much easier than pulling out and hooking up all the systems!
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection does right by the retro collection format, although at around $60-$70, even for digital, it’s on the pricier side, which won’t sit well with too many gamers, I suspect. That’s a pity, because it’s the kind of historical approach to curation that I wish more companies would take seriously.
Despite the stuttering and issues with the extras, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection is still a very good title thanks to the quality of titles on offer and the enhancements to make each game a little easier for inexperienced players. The duo of arcade classics still stands the test of time, and their home version counterparts do a very good job of porting it all over while adding new elements to mask the parts that didn't get moved over. The portable games can be hit-and-miss, but they're still very good compared to the Game Boy lineup. The fighting games are interesting, and the other beat-'em-ups are solid. Hopefully the title gets patched for improvements, but retro fans will definitely enjoy it.
Or maybe you just want to watch a playthrough of Hyperstone Heist just because. Cowabunga Collection presents so many ways to experience the Turtles games of the '80s and '90s, making it enjoyable for anyone who has any interest in the Turtles or their video game exploits. This truly is radical.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection is jam-packed with nostalgia, extras, and most importantly, a baker's dozen of classic games. If you're a fan of beat 'em ups then order some Pizza Hut, invite the neighbourhood kids over, and have a blast.
Now THIS is how you do a classic collection.
The Cowabunga Collection is a fantastic compilation of some of the best TMNT games ever made, and it’s one of the premiere examples of a property managing to make the jump to video games without losing what makes it special in the first place.
The Cowabunga Collection shows a Konami more friendly with their IPs. Not only feels great (even after the excellent Shredder's Revenge) but is also great to have the chance of playing this games in the newest consoles. Whether it is on-the-go for Switch or in the comfort of your house (PS and Xbox).

A perfect slice of 90s pizza pie
The Cowabunga Collection truly is one of the best compilations of retro quality I’ve seen in a long time. Not every title is a hit and particularly enjoyable, but the way each game has been lovingly presented and masterfully recreated for modern formats deserves infinite praise. It’s also a fantastic reminder of how important this license was for Konami and the love, respect and care they showed it can teach publishers important lessons for years to come.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection establishes a respectable standard when it comes to collections. Bringing back so many TMNT classics to current systems already makes it an important milestone in preserving old games, but the extra content gallery elevates this work to the status of one of the best products in the game industry in 2022.

Everything came together in a great playing package, with tons of bonuses, enhancements, quality of life, and 13 fun games to enjoy, and for that, I am definitely proud to declare myself a turtle fan now… At least, of the video game variety.
TMNT: The Cowabunga Collection brings back games from the ancient past with good memories, but with many technical problems that could kill your playing fun.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection is a wonderful collection of video games from the late 80s and 90s. It is sure to evoke nostalgia. The extra additions such as online multiplayer, intermediate saving and being able to rewind provide a lot of convenience. If you have to whine, it is at most about the price. At forty euros, it is quite an expensive collection.

By itself, this The Cowabunga Collection is already a great compilation of retro video games of these characters. If we also include all the added value to the titles themselves brought by Digital Eclipse's exquisite treatment of the legacy of these characters, it is little less than an essential acquisition for those of us who grew up with the Ninja Turtles.

TMNT: The Cowabunga Collection certainly deserves its title as a collection that’s as awesome as the franchise itself. From classic games to nostalgic side content, this is a dream come true for longtime fans. Konami has gone above and beyond to make this package worth it, filling up the Turtle’s Lair virtual museum with enough material to justify calling itself a museum. Concept art, advertisements, guides, and even retail boxes are here for players to enjoy. A collection like this will mostly appeal to fans such as myself, but objectively speaking, the value in the collection is immense. While newcomers may find the games dated, TMNT: The Cowabunga Collection can easily offer hours of mindless fun for everyone.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Cowabunga Collection is a trophy to bury for hours for someone like me who is a fan of old series and games.
