Crash Team Rumble Reviews
Crash Team Rumble is an interesting competitive game about picking "apples" and beating the other team. It has a solid base that, unfortunately, lacks enough sauce. The small number of maps, characters, and one single mode - despite their uniqueness and differences from each other - unfortunately doesn't make up for the fact that this game fails on lack of depth and content.

Crash Team Rumble maintains the gameplay feel of a classic Crash Bandicoot game, adding the online brawler element.

Crash Team Rumble will live and die by the content Toys For Bob delivers, and as it stands, there's a lot of fun to be had at launch, even if the content is barebones.
Bright colors and a cartoonish style give it the typical Crash atmosphere and the music also makes you very happy. But this is not enough to keep players interested for a long time. Developer Toys for Bob is currently working on the first season of the game and that will bring more content.

Crash Team Rumble is a PvP Party game with a lot of potential but little to offer. There is a lot of fun to be had, but a lot still needs to be done to become a real hit. Perhaps the game will be much more worthwhile after some updates.

Crash Team Rumble offers a lighthearted, fun idea but it's hindered by little initial content and it made achieving the available prizes a repetitive chore. Even so, it's an excellent alternative for those who always wanted to try out an arena game but never found a friendly choice.

Crash Team Rumble is a lot of fun, and you'll enjoy trying out the different character classes, even in single-player mode. Its pleasant gameplay and successful art direction won't be enough to keep the title alive for months if the developers at Toys for Bob don't add content soon. Despite its lower retail price than a traditional AAA, I'm not convinced that the game will work when users will regularly have to dig deep into their pockets to obtain the season pass. My advice, perhaps, is to wait for a discount unless you're a huge fan of the franchise.

Crash Team Rumble is fun in short bursts, and if you and your friends are looking for a new multiplayer title to check out, it’ll definitely keep you entertained for a few nights. Much of its longevity will be decided by its support, however, and while what’s here is fun at launch, it’s hard not to feel like it’s a little barebones.
Crash Team Rumble features the solid foundations for a neat gameplay loop, as well as excellent controls and decent visuals… but this is something that should have been a multiplayer mode in a mainline game, not its own thing. I actually think that this should have been the better approach with this idea, as it is fun… for a few minutes at a time. The fact it’s a paid game with an additional payment towards a season pass just adds insult to injury.
Crash Team Rumble is fun, with a strangely addicting gameplay loop that I thoroughly enjoyed.
Crash Team Rumble feels like a great idea for a game that still had work to be done before it launched. The singular game mode, limited maps and characters, and a small online community kept from growing due to a high price point of entry do not bode well for the future of the game.
Crash Team Rumble is far from perfect, but the current form is fun. Matches are quick without being too one-sided. Utilizing specific mechanics and a good understanding of the mechanics can turn a particular loss into a win. Unfortunately, I fear long-term, the community will adopt the more oppressive meta I already see, though I have hopes future characters/patches will help balance things. So if you’re looking for a fun multiplayer game for a few hours here and there, I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
Crash Team Rumble has been a very pleasant surprise, with the addictive and fun gameplay loop making for a really good time. It’s deceptively strategic despite its simplicity, whilst the different characters and their cool abilities as well as the variety of maps ensure that no two matches will feel the same. And, as a long-time Crash Bandicoot fan, I love that it’s oozing with the zany charm that the series is known for. I do wonder if it’ll offer enough to keep players hooked in for the long term, but as it stands, I’m a big fan of Crash Team Rumble. Now then… when will Ripper Roo be playable?!
