My heart guides my review of Kingdom Hearts 3. This is a superb love letter to fans of the IP that offers much more than proved gameplay solutions alone. It offers closure.

Once again, Kingdom Hearts 3 + Re:Mind on Switch is impossible to recommend without caveats as long as Cloud gaming relies on an erratic, unreliable provision of service. When it does work, it's a joy; every bit as good as any given title in the series, a dream to explore and thrilling in its spectacle. But then it falters, the input lag kicks in, and the illusion is taken away in a matter of moments. Buy this game and you are effectively renting an imperfect version for the duration of the Cloud service's lifespan. Want to play Kingdom Hearts on handheld? Well, there's always the Steam Deck, we suppose.

Any series with a dozen games in its mainline story and over 15 years of time investment will naturally have an endless pile of expectations directed at it when it comes to wrapping things up.

All in all, the Kingdom Hearts franchise coming to PC is something that fans have been looking forward to for a long time. Kingdom Hearts 3 is a great port that will delight both new and dedicated fans of the series. Whether it’s a worthy conclusion to the “Dark Seeker” arc will be in the eyes of the beholder, but playthrough-wise, Kingdom Hearts 3 is a great addition to any PC collection.

Generally speaking, the Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind PC port is very solid. With several adjustment options, it is easy to adapt the action RPG for a good experience. In addition, the game itself brings a fluid and interesting combat that demonstrates very well the series' evolution over the time.

Kingdom Hearts III doesn't go in the direction some RPG fans will no doubt have been hoping for. It's unashamedly over the top in just about every way, from its barmy story and stunning presentation to its huge cinematic battles. There's plenty of depth here too, though you'll need to find your bearings first.

Kingdom Hearts III a beautiful game with a heart like few other games. It does have a harder entry point than most games, but catching up is worth it. Even newcomers can jump in. Just don’t expect the game to hold your hand narratively. Kingdom Hearts III is not a perfect conclusion to the saga, but it’s pretty damn close.

There is no doubt that Kingdom Hearts III will make long term fans moved or even cry. As for those new to the franchise, I believe they also can be satisfied because of tons of classic Disney elements and solid combat system, even though they could barely understand the main story.

Kingdom Hearts III is a love letter to fans and the perfect end to a saga seventeen years in the making. Backed by a strong cast of characters and a near-perfect combat system, Sora and friends' final journey is sure to please both new and old fans alike.

Ultimately, Kingdom Hearts III suffers from too many elements that backfire against its own earnest and most sincere intentions. As I slogged towards its climactic finale, I couldn't help but question if the series' magic was ever really there.

While Kingdom Hearts 3 is definitely a game that represents the apex of its many iterations and one I’d recommend to longtime fans without hesitation, to me it’s so much more than the sum of its parts. There are indeed elements about the game you could fairly criticise, but in a journey that has spanned close to the length of two decades, it’s hard to quantify something that makes you feel so strongly, an intangible essence that is immeasurable in scope and depth. At the very foundation of the series lies a message and courage that I hope never becomes lost, and is something I want to strive to hold in mind every day. It’s unapologetically optimistic and rewinds the clock back to the age of innocence, and in these times I feel like that’s something we could all use in our lives.

Kingdom Hearts 3 can be repetitive and slow in its gameplay, but it makes up for this shortcoming with astounding visuals, tons of ways to play, and a heartfelt story.

The lineup of locations are the strongest in the series and I adored the depiction of the Disney worlds as vast playgrounds where you can explore, battle and take selfies to your heart's content. Kingdom Hearts III exhibits quality from every expensive edge, with a presentation that matches Disney’s animated output and a phenomenal score by Square-Enix’s composers.

Overall, Kingdom Hearts III is a very involved game, both functionally and narratively, but on each count, these aspects of the game can be awkward and difficult to fully understand, especially for newcomers. If you are one of the many people that have waited patiently for this installment and the chance to stick it to Xehanort, then you will definitely enjoy yourself a great deal.

The 3rd Kingdom Hearts may not be the best but there are exciting and fun stuff that keep the player and make them enjoy the game, even if they're not a fan of the genre

Kingdom Hearts III is the game that fans have been craving for all these years but at the same time is a daunting endeavor for rookies to dive head first into. While veterans of the series are used to Kingdom Hearts’ confusing plots lines and odd idiosyncrasies, the great moment-to-moment gameplay and awkward storytelling has a large potential to create a lopsided experience for first-timers. At its core, it’s a truly enjoyable game with adventures to be had, but is unfortunately bogged down at times by its own story.

Sadly, the third time is not the charm. Time has passed, and we’ve all grown up. It’s difficult to say the same for Sora and his companions, with Kingdom Hearts III featuring a mixed bag of old and new elements across the areas of combat, storytelling, and design.
