Overall ‘Fort Solis’ is an incredibly immersive cinematic experience that dares to push the boundaries in ways that some would not take kindly to, while others will see it for what it truly is trying to achieve. While it is short, clocking in at just over 5 hours, it is an experience that will leave a lasting impression on your mind.

Fort Solis presents a thrilling story with fantastic visuals, exceptional voice acting, and heart pounding suspense. What it may lack in mechanical gameplay is more than made up for by really feeling like you are playing a movie. Don't be surprised if you can't put it down and play straight through in a single four hour sitting. I will definitely be checking out Fallen Leaf Studios future projects and Fort Solis has even won me over to the Walking Simulator genre. Don't miss this one.

Fort Solis delivers an immersive cinematic experience, enriched by exceptional voice performances, stunning graphics, and elements like audio and video that amplify the narrative. The exploration, collectibles, and gradual reveal of the plot add to the suspense, while excellent visuals and animations are highlighted, though the movement can be occasionally stalled. Even though it's relatively brief, Fort Solis offers a memorable journey into its unique universe.

Fort Solis is a great game with amazing production quality, there are small optimisation issues, and the pacing can feel a bit slow at times, but the story, graphics, and sound design are all amazing. It has fair pricing without a "premium version" or DLCs.

Fort Solis presented itself very well for a debut game from a new studio. This game is something I would love to play on a cinema screen, because lately, no other game has given me such a cinematic experience.

Fort Solis is a thrilling sci-fi thriller experience that keeps you enthralled at all times, along with great voices and an immersive atmosphere. It doesn't reinvent the genre, nor will the story completely blow you away, but the execution is fabulous and graphically impressive. It is held back by a few inconsistencies, such as the final act, but is still without a doubt worthwhile for any fan of science fiction or cinematic games.

Fort Solis highlights its enigmatic narrative that immerses you in an ever-evolving mystery. Through an episodic structure similar to a thriller series, you connect emotionally with the characters as you meticulously explore the Fort Solis base for clues. Although it lacks conventional action and stealth, its authentic atmosphere and strategic sound design will keep you immersed. However, technical issues in the PS5 version and its limited duration are aspects to consider. Fort Solis offers a unique and captivating narrative experience, though it requires patience and an open mind to appreciate its episodic approach.

Fort Solis is a tremendous proposal to turn on the console or PC, sit down with our partner and/or friends, and enjoy as if we were watching a series.

Fort Solis features some of the best voice acting I've heard, and an engaging story that carries you through to the tense reveal at the end.

Fort Solis is a satisfying and simple narrative video game, with few real innovations but many themes and points of reasoning that thriller lovers might like. It's not a horror movie, so don't expect scares of any kind. It is not even approachable to works like Dead Space and The Callisto Protocol.

Though light on engaging gameplay mechanics (and gameplay in general), Fort Solis is an accomplished narrative experience. Boasting a compelling story, an atmospheric setting, and excellent acting performances, it's an accomplished first outing for indie studio Fallen Leaf.

It’s short enough to play through in one sitting, but that’s for the best: once you get started with Fort Solis, you’re going to struggle to pull yourself away. It’s a tense, haunting journey that will have you hooked from the word go, keeping you on your toes as you wonder what awaits around every corner. Perhaps its overall story could have packed a bit more punch, but we still lapped up every second of it as we explored the fascinating and eerie titular space station.

What we have here is a short, but memorable adventure. The world has been crafted with excellent attention to detail harnessing the power of Unreal Engine 5.2 and the small cast deliver believable, memorable performances. If you are a fan of games that put narrative at the forefront, then Fort Solis is an easy recommendation.

Fort Solis' incredible story is told through the brilliant performances by its star-studded cast. As is the purpose of walking sims, if you go into Fort Solis not expecting much in terms of gameplay, it makes for a brilliant one-sitting game.

The gameplay of Fort Solis is not the focus, which may seem backward to some as it is a video game, but the medium of a video game allows for the story of Fort Solis to be told in a manner that fits the narrative to perfection. It is simply just not for everyone. Those who enjoy it will absolutely get a nice treat out of the story, but those who don’t enjoy what is here will probably forget it in seconds or hate it.

Fort Solis is the first project from Fallen Leaf Studio and takes you to the Fort Solis base on the planet Mars. Something is going on and it's up to you as a player to find out what. Fort Solis knows how to give you a very oppressive feeling while not much actually happens. The story is sometimes a bit muddled and the playing time is on the short side with about four to six hours. Nevertheless, Fort Solis does give you a good feeling afterwards and it tastes like more of Fallen Leaf Studio.

I loved every single second of my time with Fort Solis, and as well as piecing together everything and exploring the site, I spent too much time nosing around through my co-workers emails and private effects under the guise of uncovering the story, but it was as much fun finding out snippets of my co-workers lives outside their work. It’s a fantastically weird amalgamation of Total Recall, Sunshine and the walking simulator Death Stranding, but all packaged in a sometimes-claustrophobic, always-atmospheric package.

Fort Solis isn't without its issues, but the sci-fi adventure game tells an interesting mystery and is unafraid to deal with ambiguity. Troy Baker puts on a marvelous performance that is likely the year's best in video games, and he has enough compelling material for it not to be wasted.
