Dragon's Dogma 2 Reviews
Dragon’s Dogma 2 feels more like a remake or reimagining that improves on the original ideas than an actual sequel. Its plot does not continue the original plot, it makes the same narrative errors and its design bears little resemblance to something actually conceived in 2024. However, the experience remains interesting and fun at all times. The epic combat, exquisite art direction that delivers a true fantasy world, improved vocation and pawn system and the feeling of freedom and exploration, with dangers lurking around every corner, make this RPG a delight for fans of the genre.

The sequel to the iconic Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen from 2012. doesn’t radically depart from its predecessor. Instead of revolutionary changes, it brings refinement across the board. It’s big, content-rich, and complex but very easy to jump into.
The impression left by Dragon's Dogma 2 is positive. It's one of the most creative and well-made action RPGs of the last decade, offering something that just doesn't exist in the market

Dragon's Dogma 2 is incredible, it’s an expansive role playing game that hits the desired fantasy level just right.
Dragon's Dogma 2 is an unparalleled adventure that emphasizes exploration and immersive combat. The many classes keep the battles fresh and the world always offers something new to discover without becoming boring. Nevertheless, the game is very peculiar, has strange design decisions, performance problems and can be very frustrating at times. But if you can cope with this or are a fan of the first part, you will get one of the best open-world experiences in a long time.

Dragon's Dogma 2 is an outstanding action RPG that has been plunged by the incompetence of the developers and the greed of those in charge of publishing at Capcom. At this point, I can in no way recommend the game unless you have top-of-the-line hardware, and even then you won't have a perfect experience. The presence of microtransactions is also a harmful decision and does not make me optimistic about the future of Capcom's games. Wait a minimum of six months for possible performance patches, which unfortunately at this point are not expected to appear anytime soon. If it weren't for the above problems, I would have my game of the year candidate here.

It is true that an immersive world and unique game mechanics create distinct enjoyment. However, these same aspects also bring several issues. While the game is excellent, certain external factors need to be addressed for improvement.

I’d wholeheartedly recommend checking out Dragon’s Dogma 2, whether it’s a game you’ve been anticipating for the past 12 years, or you’re just curious as to what all the hype is about. It’s an extremely fun RPG in a year that’s already seen a number of excellent RPG’s, which is really saying something when you look back at what’s come out since January. Definitely give it a shot, you won’t be disappointed.
Flawless is the perfect term to describe Dragon’s Dogma 2, and it portrays a beyond-sheer level of magnificence, making it one of Capcom’s greatest projects ever. This isn’t even close to being an exaggeration, but not only is this a Game of the Year contender, but it might be an all-time great. Not once did I feel the need to turn off the game and would often feel miffed whenever I had to.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 is a masterpiece that elevates every defining aspect of its predecessor, enhancing the experience in numerous ways. The outcome is an unforgettable and ever-evolving journey shaped by the player’s actions and insatiable sense of curiosity.
I feel like even in trying to explain all of the things that have me so excited about Dragon’s Dogma 2, it fails to convey the magic of actually experiencing it. These are just words on your screen, the translation of my excited babbling about some cool shit I did or saw as my best attempt at explaining to you that this game absolutely rules. I’m leaving so much out, forgetting to add so many “oh and this”es, because it’s kind of impossible to actually tell anybody what it’s like to play Dragon’s Dogma 2. Instead, consider this my unequivocal assertion that Dragon’s Dogma 2 is a game that is not just worth your time, but something that you must play so that you can understand how special it is.
Dragon's Dogma II improves upon the original in every way, offering an organic feeling story, exciting and varied combat, and a world that is just begging to be explored.
"Dragon's Dogma 2" is a triumphant return for the series, a sequel that exceeds expectations while pushing what an open-world RPG can achieve. It's a game that deserves to be experienced firsthand and savored versus rushing through it.
Dragon's Dogma 2, just like the first game, unleashes us on a big world and pats us on the back saying "your mission is clear, come on, lion", giving us an opportunity to have completely personal experiences.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is a single player, narrative driven action-RPG that challenges the players to choose their own experience – from the appearance of their Arisen, their vocation, their party, how to approach different situations and more - in a truly immersive fantasy world. PC version reviewed. Review copy provided by company for testing purposes. Dragon's Dogma 2 is a marvel, and perhaps one of the best games within Capcom's catalogue of already impressive titles.
It has taken 12 years to arrive, but the wait has been worth it. Capcom has made us enjoy like dwarfs traveling through the immense and vast world that Dragon's Dogma II offers us. A game that, it is true, can overwhelm anyone who wants to delve into all its ins and outs and things to discover thanks to everything it can offer, but which, without a doubt, will not leave anyone unmoved. Dragon's Dogma II offers us a very lively world in which I have been immersed in the most varied situations such as starting a fight against a cyclops in one area and during the heat of the battle it ends up moving to another. part where I have forced other bystander NPCs to enter the fight and lend their support, which has greatly facilitated the confrontation; or making certain decisions of dubious ethics but that, against all odds, end in a happy ending for everyone (especially for my pockets), or... And so I could continue with a multitude of anecdotal situations in a game in which it is seen that The details have been greatly cared for. On the other hand, I have to say that I was disappointed by the lack of a performance mode that has deprived me of the possibility of enjoying the experience at 60 FPS, which would have been amazing during the enormous number of hours of play that it has to do. offer. Because, let's be honest, Dragon's Dogma II invites you to get lost, making it almost impossible to stick to its main campaign: Secondary missions, errands, brothels/romances, epic confrontations, and a long etcetera are to blame and believe me when I tell you that they will not disappoint nobody.
