Gundam Breaker 4 Reviews
I'm very happy that GUNDAM BREAKER 4 is as great as it is and hope to see many more games in the franchise make their way westward. The fact that it's accessible and fully-featured means that any mech enthusiast can easily enjoy what's here. 🤖
Gundam Breaker 4 is certainly... an interesting game. The only thing it has in its favor is the customization aspect so you can take photos and share them with others. But if you don't like the experience outside of the Diorama and perhaps the missions that will be added in future Season Pass patches, I find it very difficult to recommend to anyone.

Gundam Breaker 4 is a game of two sides, but they don’t seem to blend smoothly. While the constructive side of Bandai Namco’s title is unquestionable due to the depth of the gunpla editor, the gameplay aspect is quite weak. Despite the gameplay's potential, the game’s design feels disappointingly repetitive, whether in single-player or multiplayer modes. The campaign, in terms of writing and progression, only exacerbates this dichotomy. A lackluster title destined for die-hard fans—those who enjoy virtually assembling their mobile suits won’t be disappointed by Gundam Breaker 4, but others should avoid it if they’re waiting for a title that does justice to the legendary Sunrise robot franchise. Now, excuse me as I get back to assembling my new Master Grade model...

Gundam Breaker 4 takes you to the virtual world dedicated to Gunpla. The customisation of the model kit is very well done and allows you to choose from a huge and comprehensive catalogue of parts in High Grade and Super Deformed scale. However, the gameplay suffers from incredible technical shortcomings, while many game design choices make the title fall into repetitiveness.

There’s a lot to love about Gundam Breaker 4 as it returns to the roots of the franchise in successful fashion. This game provides lots of engaging combat encounters thanks to its tried-and-tested mechanics that it borrows from Gundam Breaker 3, albeit with new additions. Perhaps the best thing about it is the customization system which offers an addictive experience for Gundam fans and Gunpla collectors. It’s also great that the in-depth customization is great not only for combat but also for the Diorama and Photo modes which are cool additions. Plus, even more casual Gundam fans can have fun here as the story mode is quite engaging. Sure, the combat could be smoother, and the missions can feel a bit samey, but these are minor issues overall. As such, Gundam Breaker 4 is a great return to form for the series that Gunpla builders will definitely love.
Gundam Breaker 4 is an action RPG that focuses on robot customization above all else. Assembling your own robot from the endless options of parts and going into battle is a lot of fun. However, the levels are too simple, the missions are very repetitive and there are clear points where the game could improve in a future iteration.

Gundam Breaker 4 is a fantastic game for fans of Gundam as a whole, whether you are or are not acquainted with previous entries of the series or even the anime. If you’re just a fan of the mecha genre in general and customizing your own mech, I don’t think I could recommend Breaker 4 enough.
Gundam Breaker 4 is a game with a clear focus. Building lots of robots and sharing them with other players. This can be done based on specifications or the visual spectacle of a diorama. The storyline and missions quickly become repetitive and mainly serve to provide an arena to try out your creation. It is therefore a pity that the game does not visually achieve the spectacle and presentation of the anime series. This is not a game that you buy for the battles, but to share your passion for building Gunpla with others and Gundam Breaker 4 offers a nicely extensive platform for this.

In sum, Gundam Breaker 4 can be considered one of the best games in the Breaker series, as well as one of the best Gundam games, thanks to its high customization, intense combat and various possibilities.

Gundam Breaker 4 is exactly what I wanted from this franchise after Gundam Breaker 3, and I’m happy to say we can all forget the “New” moniker because we are BACK BABY. Fans of giant robots, fans of customization, and fans of games absolutely bursting at the seams with content can all find something to love here, and I can’t wait to see what this team brings us next.
Gundam Breaker 4 is an enjoyable, action-packed game with engaging gameplay, fast-paced mechanics, and fantastic customization options for Gunplas. However, the game is held back by its lackluster story mode.
Gundam Breaker 4 marks a triumphant return to the series' roots, offering fans an intricate and rewarding Gunpla-building experience. While the story may not be the game's strongest aspect, the detailed customization options, engaging combat mechanics, and creative features like Diorama and Painting modes more than make up for it.
Gundam Breaker 4 is a treasure for Gundam enthusiasts, offering hours of entertainment as you assemble unique Gunplas without the expense of physical kits. Despite its basic combat and story, the game provides ample content through multiplayer and side missions to complete your collection. If you’re seeking a more involved mech action simulator, this game might not meet your expectations due to its arcade-like combat, which can become repetitive over time, but still offers playability due to the creativity and possibilities the system brings along.
Gundam Breaker 4 has a really frustrating gameplay loop, a wide variety of bugs, and a story that often feels cliched and predictable. While the characters are interesting and the customization options are brilliant, the entire experience feels far too monotonous and clunky to be worth paying $59.99 for.
Gundam Breakers 4 is a return to action-slash-build-a-Gundam/Mobile Suit form after a long hiatus; the less said about New Gundam Breakers, the better. The combat is still fast and fun, with great controls and speedy gameplay. The plethora of GunPla base models and bits means no two Gundams online will be the same, both in aesthetics and practical use. The story mode is a great introduction to the Gundam Breakers process, though its missions could use more variety. But a few dud pieces aren't going to ruin the whole model.
