Gori: Cuddly Carnage Reviews
Gori: Cuddly Carnage is one of those independent productions capable of entertaining us and printing a satisfied grin on our faces. The crazy premise of the production results in an inspired action platformer that mixes style, combat, humor and splatter. A proof of character for the Swedish developers of Angry Demon Studio that will especially win over lovers of stylish action titles and those who look back with nostalgia to past video game generations, even after a few technical embarrassments. A little gem that we nevertheless recommend to (almost) everyone ... also because we know that unicorns are obnoxious and you have always dreamed of slaughtering them with a cat on a hoverboard.

An action-adventure game with good ideas, dark humor, and an ambition that makes the experience much more rewarding than expected.

Cuddly Carnage is an adorable, bloody and fun chaos, a game that hides a more solid and polished experience than it appears and that despite its madness offers us pure fun and doubt. It is true that the Nintendo Switch version - which we have played - suffers graphically in exchange for gaining the necessary fluidity, but it still offers a very fun experience that is worth enjoying.

Everything about Gori: Cuddly Carnage is simply amazing. It delivers absurd, over-the-top action in a package that’s tailor-made for anyone who holds a soft spot for ‘00s gaming, and as far as I’m concerned it’s one of the best games of the year so far.
When I heard there was a game named “Gori Cuddly Carnage” I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was worried it would like depth, game play and story as many indie games with this sort of humor have in the past. I’m happy to say it has all those things while managing to not where out it’s welcome. The one place it falls short in just a little is the platforming. it’s not all the time but once in a while it just needs spaced out just a bit more. Other then that I loved this game.
'Gori: Cuddly Carnage' is a short game with an imperfection here and there. Nevertheless, the game plays wonderfully. It is clearly not a children's game, but for those who like dark and bad humor a great pleasure. Slaughtering unicorns in style is what your main activity is in this hack and slash with some platforming here and there. Good entertainment for the lover of all this is in abundance and that for a nice price.

Gory: Cuddly Carnage is cute and a bloody good time. It’s a fast and brutal 3rd-Person action game that excels in its fight and high speed chases. Unfortunately the camera is often fighting against the player which makes some of the later fights exhausting as well as precision platforming unnecessarily difficult. Gori is a lovable protagonist though and thanks to the fast paced levels it won’t get boring despite its technical issues.

Just like Gori and his friends join a resistance force against the evil toys of the Adorable Army, Gori: Cuddly Carnage is one of the resilient bastions of hack and slash with its traditional gameplay that values the stylish execution of combos and the carnage instead of rolling around and stamina bar limitations so usual in the modern industry limited action games. It's a true breath [of fresh air] in a genre [on the break of] being extinct in a very captivating product that knows what it wants to do.

Gori: Cuddly Carnage is a truly peculiar game that is wildly fun to play. It has some unfortunate technical issues, but the distinct world and wonderfully gruesome gameplay go a long way to craft a game unlike anything else I’ve experienced.
