Date Everything! Reviews
Date Everything! is an addictive sandbox dating simulator where you'll Love, Friend, or Hate all 100 voice-acted objects in your home. It features simple controls, is full of quirkiness, secrets, and has a fun-loving story that will keep you entertained for countless hours.
Date Everything!’s romance packs heart, with its stellar voice work and sheer wit stealing the show. Grab your Dateviators - there’s a world just waiting to be swooned.
Date Everything! is a very unique game that stands out from other visual novels. The creative idea, the vast array of memorable characters, the quirky writing, and the beautiful art really help this game shine. While the large amount of content can be overwhelming and the performance issues, along with the bugs, can put a damper on things, none of it really drags the experience down.
I think this game is beyond brilliant. It met my expectations and then some. I honestly cannot recommend it enough, it’s such a wacky, hilarious, entertaining experience, and I think almost everyone would be able to find copious enjoyment from it. Even if dating sims aren’t usually your genre, consider making this one an exception. It’s like nothing else out there, and you’d be missing out on all the deranged shenanigans.
While it may look goofy at first glance, Date Everything is a lengthy feel-good dating sim with plenty of heart, soul, and furniture puns.
It's always a delight to see how this household object or concept is brought to life.
Date Everything feels like too much of a good thing, as the game prioritises quantity over quality.
Date Everything provides an ideal dating simulator recipe: charming characters, a light-hearted tone, and an incredibly disturbing premise. Unfortunately, performance issues at launch also provided a significant obstacle, and I had a hard time getting over some of the narrative ups and downs. There's certainly a lot to sink your teeth into with Date Everything, which took me a little over 40 hours to complete, but I was left wondering if all the time spent was really worth it for the level of depth the game provides.
's sincere, hilarious, and honest, and is probably one of the most enjoyable indie games I've ever played. As a debut game, Sassy Chap Games knocked it out of the park with this sandbox dating sim. If you appreciate the talent behind voice acting, weird dating sims, and most of all supporting indie studios, then Date Everything! is the perfect game for you.
I wish the writing was a bit less shallow, which feels like a side effect of trying to cram so much in a small space and doing so with a sandbox-style structure. Visual novels benefit from guardrails preventing them from catering too much to the player, and Date Everything abstains to its own detriment. But it’s still cute and fun, and there’s no denying the dopamine hits and humor from each new character reveal. Sassy Chap’s debut game is a commendable effort, and more like this can only benefit visual novels as a whole.
Date Everything’s main draw is its crazy premise, but thanks to its storylines that are brought to life by seasoned voice actors, it is more than just a silly idea. It is a surprisingly heartfelt experience that expertly blends silly and sentiment.
Date Everything! is an exemplary example of what happens when game developers remember they have free will and can do literally anything they want. A classic dating sim style game but with a twist, Sassy Chap Games decided it would be really cool to basically hire the entirety of the professional voice acting industry and assign them all to sexy human versions of furniture, and somehow it worked spectacularly. Date Everything! is an experience dripping with charm, inclusivity and pride, and is the exact right amount of self-aware. Being able to make a hundred characters equally as unique and captivating as they are is such an impressive feat. This is a dating sim that breaks free from the mould, and even those who aren't fond of the genre will find something to love within this world.
Date Everything! is a passionate game in all ways. From the writing to the artwork, it's impossible not to love such a goofy yet touching experience. Bringing dating sims to a whole new level, this is one that you can't miss.
I have nothing but positive things to say about Date Everything!, and that’s saying something considering I’m a pessimist. It’s a love game that was meant to launch for Valentine’s Day, but it’s also a queer game launching in the middle of pride month, so the launch timing is still wonderful. It is an amazing game, and its fictional relationships hit me in my very real feels. The characters vary greatly in everything from appearance to personality, and despite there being 100 of them, it’s easy to remember each as someone special. The voice acting is exquisite, and shoutout to the devs for including the voice actors on every dateable’s profile. I expect to be recommending Date Everything! to others for years because there are so few quality games as quirky and heartfelt.
For fans of dating simulators, Date Everything! is one of the best options available this year.

Date Everything is a solid debut for Sassy Chap Games and is one of the better dating simulators I’ve played, down to some sheer creativity and some wonderful choices on the voice cast. It’s pretty hilarious to think about the amount of star power that is here, but when you have some clever writing, a great premise, and some gorgeous artwork and vast replayability, Date Everything is the perfect package to cozy up to and share some quality time with.
Date Everything becomes more than just a fun exercise in “What If?” and more an exploration of what makes us all human. It’s not what we’re made of on the outside, or what we look like. The seemingly innocuous discussions you start to have with these usually unacknowledged and taken for granted inanimate objects start to hold more weight as you realize you forget sometimes they’re just “things.” Using these objects as vessels to tell more stories than these 100 characters ever had the ability to on their own could’ve been used to be blatantly silly and sexual, with the innuendos and puns only there to make you laugh. All of the fantastic voice acting and writing comes together to bring a, yes, very silly (and sometimes maturely themed, if you opt-in to allow the content) game to life. But more importantly, Date Everything really shines when the spotlight is on the interactions between you, the characters, and the world they inhabit.
Date Everything! is certainly unique in its premise. I genuinely wonder how someone even came up with the idea. However, I’m glad they did! Whilst the idea of trying to date your furniture is not for everyone, it is certainly worth trying out the game. The quirkiness of the game really draws you in. While the premise of it seems silly, there is a lot of love poured into the game. Making it a very fun sandbox dating simulator. People should certainly give Date Date Everything! a go, it is definitely worthy of the rare Thumb Culture Platinum Award.
I appreciate the gimmick and the talent in Date Everything, but it isn’t as well executed as other dating sim visual novels.
