Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition Reviews
Alien: Rogue Incursion is an excellent VR title. Very immersive, good gameplay ideas, accessible controls and the constant fear of a xenomorph around every corner. It's a must-have title in your PS VR2 library.

Alien: Rogue Incursion sets the bar for a great Alien VR experience. Gunning down Xenos has never been so satisfying. With the eerie corners of the facility and its visuals, the exhilarating M41A Pulse Rifle, and the sound design that respects its source material, it's what every Alien fan has been waiting for -- an authentic Alien VR experience.
Alien: Rogue Incursion delivers a solid VR experience with great atmosphere, but it's held back by repetitive gameplay and some questionable design choices. A good game, but not a memorable one.

The shift away from VR doesn’t appear to hurt the game in the least bit, and while I’d imagine it’s certainly more immersive in VR, it’s a completely passable experience without it.
Despite not being particular difficult or outright scary, Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition nails its premise, being a tense, engaging and atmospheric game. It’s the perfect balance between true claustrophobic survival horror (like Isolation was) and outright action-packed shooter (like how Colonial Marines should have been). It’s pretty fun and completely playable on PC, but if you’re given the opportunity to play it in a virtual reality headset, then absolutely play it in VR.
Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition is an intense, imperfect, and tremendously atmospheric experience. It doesn't redefine the genre or seek to compete with the big names in survival horror, but what it does, it does with passion. Its setting, sound, and fidelity to the spirit of Alien make it a must-have for fans of the franchise.

Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition is a fun and very tense first person shooter. Unlike typical horror games like Resident Evil or more recently Cronos: The New Dawn where you see enemies walking towards you, Xenomorphs come from all corners of a room which adds a layer of tension. However, it is short and features a bit of backtracking. That being said, if you can overlook these quirks, Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition is absolutely worth it.
Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition is kind of like a catch-22: it makes promises and breaks them. Survios clearly cares about the source material, as shown by the game's strengths, such as its creepy atmosphere, satisfying weapon sound design, and true to the series looks. But bugs in the AI, features that do the same thing over and over, and uneven polish keep it from being truly great.
Survios' Alien: Rogue Incursion VR is coming as Alien Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition for PCs, offering the original experience to those who don't have VR devices.

As an experience into the fabled IP’s universe, Alien: Rogue Incursion does a really good job in delivering the atmosphere and visuals. However, the biggest threat to its longevity is the repetitive gameplay that gets in the way of what should be its star attractions. The Xenomorph is to be fear, not overused, but there is still something inherently enjoyable about this ill-fated romp in space. What it needs is more time gestating in its cocoon and not sprouting out like an off-putting hybrid not ready for the limelight.
As the only existing unmodified Alien VR game, Alien: Rogue Incursion leaves much to be desired.
Alien: Rogue Incursion on the Meta Quest 3 is a fine game. Although the graphical compromises compared to other platforms are significant, I still had quite a good time playing this title. Unfortunately, the ending of the game really bored me, and running around the map just to extend the gameplay time is something I always consider a big downside in any title. Despite these flaws, I can recommend this game and I suggest reserving multiple shorter play sessions instead of one long to avoid falling victim to tedious backtracking.

Alien: Rogue Incursion is an excellent addition to the Alien franchise. One that introduces us to a new character and an entirely new experience. With elements true to the franchise it is a must for any fan of Alien. Alien: Rogue Incursion gets the Thumb Culture Gold Award.
Alien: Rogue Incursion is a gripping experience that’ll leave players on edge throughout their deadly battle against the Xenomorphs, but sacrifices have been made to make it playable on the Meta Quest 3. The blend of unnerving exploration and frantic action ensures the game is captivating throughout, whilst the immersive interactions with the environment, the thrilling set pieces, and the constant sense of danger ensure that it captures the spirit of the Aliens franchise perfectly. It was just so disappointing that the visuals took such a hit to make it playable on the Meta Quest 3, and believe me, it’s noticeable. It doesn’t stop Alien: Rogue Incursion from being a ton of fun to play on the Meta Quest 3 and there’s hope that we’ll see improvements with upcoming patches, but if you’re lucky enough to own multiple virtual reality platforms, it might be worth playing on one of those in order to get the best Alien: Rogue Incursion experience.
The game is a must-own for Alien and action fans and is also a shining example of V.R. gaming and offers a very engaging and tense gaming experience.
Alien: Rogue Incursion might not be the nerve-shredding horror experience that Alien: Isolation was, but it succeeds on its own terms as an action-focused VR shooter. The combination of satisfying combat, engaging exploration, and strong character work creates an experience that's hard to put down once you start.
Alien: Rogue Incursion brings a breath of fresh air to VR gaming with its immersive and action-packed experience. Developed by Survios, this first-person shooter captures the essence of the Alien franchise while offering a different approach from Alien Isolation. The game excels in its interactive elements and smooth controls, despite some visual shortcomings on PSVR 2. While the narrative may leave fans wanting more, the engaging gameplay and rich lore make it a must-play for Alien enthusiasts.
Alien: Rogue Incursion marks the franchise's debut in VR, leveraging this technology to amplify its hallmark sense of immersion. As the first chapter of a larger adventure, the game lays a promising foundation, though we hope its sequel will deliver a more polished and flexible structure to fully realize its potential.

But in general, Alien: Rogue Incursion is a great addition to the VR library and Alien franchise. The amount of interactivity with the game's environments is superb, keeping the player engaged and giving a great sense of actually being in the Xenomorph-infested facility. On top of that, the gunplay is some of the best the VR market has seen in years (when it's working properly). Alien: Rogue Incursion is definitely worth being experienced by VR enthusiasts and Alien fans, even if it's a bumpy experience.
Alien: Rogue Incursion puts too much focus on action segments, destroying the fear factor of its main enemy.
