Everybody's Golf Hot Shots Reviews
Everybody's Golf is back, and though this latest entry is by a new developer, it's everything you'd expect. The three-button shot system makes a return, keeping the action accessible, but Everybody's Golf Hot Shots still requires a fair amount of skill. The main negative here is that progression is slow, so it'll take a while to unlock things like additional characters.
Everybody's Golf: Hot Shots is fine overall. The core gameplay experience remains unchanged, the performance is solid, and the modes are plentiful enough to keep you occupied for a very long time, even if that means that unlocking the roster can feel like a grind. However, the courses you play are merely fine, some of the mechanics feel dated, and the presentation lacks polish. Longtime fans may pick up this title anyway, considering how long it has been between entries. More casual fans will have a good time, but don't go in expecting the high standards of the previous titles in the franchise.
Everybody's Golf: Hot Shots is the definitive arcade golf game, with countless golfers, caddies, courses, and modes just waiting to be explored.
I had a lovely time with EVERYBODY'S GOLF HOT SHOTS and its adorably energetic game world that's filled with bubbly characters and accessible gameplay that anyone can easily enjoy. So, if you're up for a game of golf, why not give it a go? 🏌️‍♀️
Everybody's Golf Hot Shots makes a colorful return to the series, dazzling players with its vibrant graphics and lively soundtrack that perfectly sets the mood for a fun round of golf. However, despite these appealing aspects, the game struggles with some dated elements.
Everybody's Golf Hot Shots is a welcomed return to the series. The gameplay is easy, immediate, and fun, yet also difficult to master at higher levels. What left me perplexed was the graphics and technical aspects, which lacked in every way. It could and should have been better, especially since its predecessor is much more refined in this. It's still a solid title if you're looking for an arcade golf experience.

In our review of Everybody's Golf Hot Shots, the latest installment in the venerable series unfortunately only manages a bogey. On paper, it sounded promising in principle. A total of 30 golfers and several different caddies are available to play (for free). In addition to the ten beautifully designed courses, a variety of different game modes are available in both single and multiplayer modes, providing plenty of variety. Special attention is paid to Challenge and World Tour modes, with the latter even offering us genuine story campaigns for each individual golfer. In keeping with the series' bright and colorful approach, these come across as somewhat inconsequential. Unfortunately, Everybody's Golf Hot Shots already slips up at the tee... um, the start. With only two selectable players and a single course, the game initially feels more like a demo or a heavily condensed free-to-play title. A few more options would have been essential for variety and especially for the multiplayer mode. The gameplay, which is fundamentally very grind-heavy in order to unlock new content, is not very helpful in this regard. There's just no real flow when you're not really in the mood to play for hours on end to unlock the next new character or course. In addition, the audiovisual experience and a few bugs detract from the gaming experience. In addition to popping objects and textures, the rather monotonous music starts to annoy the player very early on. On top of that, there are a few game crashes that the developers really need to patch. At its core, Everybody's Golf Hot Shots is definitely a worthy representative of the series, but with a little more fine-tuning and, above all, a more appealing unlocking mechanism, the developers could have saved themselves a few extra strokes in the end result. Then they would have at least come out with a PAR. As it stands, they currently lag behind their established competitor, PGA Tour.

Everybody’s Golf Hot Shots is a great return to the series. The vibrant courses, relaxing music, and massive amounts of unlockables should bring you endless hours of replayability. Hyde, Inc. has delivered a hole-in-one arcade golf classic.
Overall, EVERYBODY’S GOLF HOT SHOTS is a fun arcade golf game and kept me entertained. As a fan of the series and golf itself, it was an easy game for me to play and enjoy...
Everybody's Golf Hot Shots brings classic arcade golf gameplay to modern platforms with smooth mechanics and plenty of modes, but stumbles with bland visuals, uninspired character design, and an overreliance on AI-generated assets that sap the series’ trademark charm.
The swing is excellent, the unlock loop hooks you, and the modes keep things fresh. Challenge events and World Tour chapters give steady rewards, and Wacky Golf adds silly, replayable mayhem.
This was my first golf video game that I truly played an extensive amount of. I honestly don’t count my minimal time playing Mario Golf on the Nintendo 64 with my cousin when I was 10. Overall, while I did enjoy my time Everybody’s Golf Hot Shots, there were definitely hiccups that impacted my experience. Were they absolutely “this is unplayable” hiccups? No. But were they enough to make me take pause or have to vent some frustration to my partner? Absolutely.
Everybody's Golf Hot Shots brings Sony's classic golf series to more platforms, but the excessive content barriers and performance hiccups on the Switch make the game less engaging than it should be. It's still fun, especially for those looking for a complex golf simulator, but it's not an easy game to recommend to anyone unfamiliar with the franchise and the sport.

Everybody's Golf Hot Shots manages to deliver a fun and, to some extent, addictive experience. Despite its dated visuals, the presentation is pleasant, with cool music and a good balance of realism. While the game could offer more support for newcomers and those less experienced, it also offers a good tutorial and well-implemented mechanics. It's a shame that the significant amount of content requires a lot of patience to access. In the long run, however, those who enjoy the games will end up enjoying everything the game has to offer, such as a leveling system that unlocks new golfers, holes, clubs, and more.

Everybody’s Golf: Hot Shots is a cheerful and accessible golf game with colorful tracks, playful Caddies and various modes, from serious tournaments to chaotic Wacky Golf. The game offers both solo and multiplayer a lot of fun and strategic depth through unique characters and smart stroke mechanics.

EVERYBODY’S GOLF HOT SHOTS is a solid, fun game with plenty of content if it caught your attention, but it really isn’t the most innovative or polished game, and unfortunately it doesn’t stand out as much as it could.

Everybody’s Golf Hot Shots is a game you can jump into casually or sink hours into refining your play. It may not surpass the PS4 edition in scope, but it delivers fun, just what we associate with the series.
Everybody’s Golf Hot Shots is a surprisingly enjoyable golf game with solid mechanics and a chill vibe, even if it doesn’t do much to win over people who aren’t already fans of the sport. It’s built for fans of the game looking for a nice digital way to enjoy the sport, but Steam Deck players may struggle with performance.
For those who have been fans for a long time, Everybody's Golf Hot Shots might feel like a watered-down version of the series they used to love. The fun is still at the heart of the game, but the spark—the personality that made Hot Shots special—is fading fast.
Everybody’s Golf Hot Shots feels like a day on the course that starts lighthearted, turns into real competition, and ends with laughter at the clubhouse. It’s a definitive entry in the franchise, a love letter to golf as a sport and as a community, and it leaves you ready to tee up again and again.
