Dispatch presents a stylish, cinematic narrative adventure with strong visuals, an outstanding voice cast, and a clever blend of interactive storytelling and light team-management mechanics. The episodic structure builds mood and character well, but the replayability is limited, dialog skipping would help, and a few bugs disrupt the flow. Very good overall.

Dispatch brilliantly sets the stage for AdHoc Studios to fill the void Telltale Games left and do it better. This superhero workplace comedy is full of heart, incredible character-driven storytelling and art, and is worth all of the praise it’s received and more.

Dispatch emerged out of nowhere to deliver one of the best narrative experiences you can play this year, thanks to its gripping storytelling, strong writing, and exceptional voice acting. The game steps outside the conventional to offer an innovative experience that truly deserves your time, and it is highly recommended for fans of story-driven games.

Despite some forced romance, overused profanity, and limited choice impact on a second playthrough, Dispatch remains a high-quality, eight-episode stunner with sharp writing, strong voice acting, gorgeous animation, and tasty camerawork.

Dispatch is one of the most charming, engaging, and well-written games of the year. It might be a comedy, but it doesn’t shy away from difficult subjects. You must take on the role of a mentor to a team of misfit heroes, all while navigating your own demons, not to mention the actual demon on your team. The character arcs and the team's overall arc are so satisfying and effective. I knew early on that this was a game I would play multiple times to see where different decisions would lead me. AdHoc Studio has instantly made a name for itself with this debut game.

Much like its superheroes, Dispatch dazzles with story but stumbles in gameplay. Whether that trade‑off works is up to you.

Dispatch has practically everything going for it. From the audiovisual setting, through the excellent technical condition and superb voice acting, to the phenomenally written characters and a story that completely captivates the player's attention and heart. It is undoubtedly one of the best titles of the year, and certainly the game with the most interesting story we have seen in 2025. I wholeheartedly recommend it and eagerly await the second season and future productions from AdHoc studio.

Video games that are genuinely funny don’t come around all that often; one that can also have your heart pumping with adrenaline — or silent tears streaming down your face — is almost unicorn rarity. Dispatch is that game.

Dispatch takes the foundation built by Telltale Games and runs with it, creating one of the best games in the genre and one of the best titles released this year. The incredible cast of characters, brought to life by great writing, a beautiful art style, and a fantastic team of voice actors, is so charming and lovable. Even if the gameplay is kind of lacking, the dispatching mini-games and emphasis on player and dialogue choice are so much fun to engage with. In a time when the superhero genre is more oversaturated than ever, Dispatch manages to go above and beyond, delivering an unforgettable experience.

While not revolutionary, Dispatch stands out for recapturing the charm and enjoyment of following a narrative story filled with characters who have something to offer, be it chaos or good company.

Dispatch is a refreshing piece of gaming. Bringing back the Telltale-style choose your own adventure is great, but doing so with such brilliant style, technical proficiency and excellent script and performances has won me over entirely. Engaging from start to finish, Dispatch is easily one of my favourite games of the year, and a new standard in the genre.

Dispatch isn’t a game about saving the world. It’s about trying to hold it together when everything falls apart, both personally and professionally. It’s weird, stylish, and self-aware in the best way. showing that found family is even more powerful than blood, and that not all heroes wear capes. An interactive series that makes you laugh, think, and sometimes second-guess your choices. If you’ve missed that classic Telltale style of rich storytelling energy that once defined the genre, this one deserves a spot at the top of your playlist. Definitely a recommended narrative play.

Dispatch features an incredibly engaging story and well-written characters. The hero-dispatching system adds a uniquely flavorful touch to the experience, but the player’s influence over major events in the story feels noticeably limited.

If there’s any title worth playing this year, regardless of whatever gamer you are, it’s gotta be Dispatch. Having not been all that good at video games for most of my life, I fell in love with games that focused on great stories, usually with interactions a bit more limited than in fully fledged RPGs and the like. It’s why I still adore series like Life is Strange and (most of) the Telltale games. AdHoc Studios takes the foundations of those games and brings them up to the next level. The polish is astounding, with perfect performances, brilliant art and music, and fantastic, thoughtful writing hidden underneath a heap of swear words. Dispatch is brilliant, and you should play it.
