Transport Fever 3 Reviews
The steep learning curve of Transport Fever 3 will pay of for those who want it. The result is an extremely addicting and task-intensive experience.
A transport focused tycoon game with numerous enhancements to its UI and simulation, that’s user friendly by genre standards but potentially headache inducing for more casual players.
Transport Fever 3 is a great strategy game for those of use who love logistcs, trains, planes, and helping a map full of businesses and town to thrive. In exchange for large amounts of money, of course. If you can handle a few console controller related kerfuffles (perhaps by playing on PC instead) and a lot of advanced planning, Transport Fever 3 is a great option for it.
Transport Fever 3 turned out to be a game of big ambitions. Building a functioning logistics network is quite a challenging task, and the developers tried to implement it across several time periods as well. The result is engaging, though the interface here definitely needs refinement.

While Transport Fever 3 might feel familiar to OG fans of the series, it brings much deeper mechanics and a larger vehicle roster which makes it Urban Games' most polished transport strategy game yet.
Transport Fever 3 is a wonderful new addition to the series. With more vehicles, improved graphics, more user-friendly interface, and a modding scene that’s already impressive, I’ve had an absolute blast playing TF3 – and those measly 74 hours I’ve managed to squeeze in over the weekends and late at night are just the beginning. It’s just a shame that, although the game looks lovely, it runs a touch poorly. I really wanted to give it a 9/10, but I simply couldn’t with such severe frame rate drops on high-end hardware.

Transport Fever 3 is a worthwhile sequel, and one that offers you tons of replay value, an immersive campaign and dozens or even hundreds of hours thanks to its sandbox mode.
A satisfying and surprisingly relaxing management sim that's as deep as you want to make it, Transport Fever 3 trades city-building for a more focused but equally fulfilling logistics-based experience.
Transport Fever 3 improves upon the formula seen in previous installments and focuses its new features on better usability and expanded micromanagement. It's a joy to watch the logistics networks in action, and it's a game that will provide you with hours and hours of entertainment.

Overcoming the hurdle of its apparent complexity and a few interface frictions, Transport Fever 3 finds the true beauty of logistics within the depth of its systems. Progressing through the eras captures the sheer scale of human engineering, turning the effort of untangling bottlenecks into the satisfaction of watching an entire city come alive through transportation.

Transport Fever 3 is the sort of game that can quietly consume your time without you even realising it. You sit down intending to establish a couple of bus routes, only to look at the clock several hours later and realise you have somehow built a transportation empire spanning an entire region. That is because the game understands the appeal of logistics. There is genuine satisfaction in taking a problem and finding an elegant solution, whether that means adding another bus, creating a new rail connection, establishing a cargo route or completely redesigning part of your network because your previous plan has become hopelessly inefficient. It is also a game that respects the player. You can delve as deeply into its systems as you want, or simply concentrate on the parts you enjoy most. The campaign helps newcomers learn the ropes, while the sandbox provides the freedom that will keep experienced players coming back for another attempt. The Xbox version does have some controller-related frustrations, particularly when you are managing a huge number of lines and vehicles, but these never managed to overshadow the sheer enjoyment I found in building and managing my networks. Transport Fever 3 is a fantastic addition to the Xbox simulation and strategy library. It is deep without constantly making you feel overwhelmed, complex without losing sight of what makes it fun, and surprisingly relaxing despite the number of financial disasters you can create for yourself. If you enjoy watching a plan slowly come together, there are few things more satisfying than seeing your first humble transport route evolve into a huge interconnected network. Transport Fever 3 makes that journey incredibly rewarding — just make sure you keep an eye on the bank balance before you decide that building a railway through a mountain is a brilliant idea.
Transport Fever 3 shines when you stop focusing on individual vehicles and start viewing the entire network as one connected machine. A train is not just a train when it carries materials from a factory that supplies a town, and buses are not just buses when they feed passengers into a larger rail network.
Transport Fever 3 is the best of the series, despite a formula that has remained largely unchanged and some interesting, yet not yet fully fleshed out, new features.
