Stardew Valley Reviews
Far more than just a farming game, this one-man labor of love is filled with seemingly endless content and heart.
Stardew Valley has a little bit of everything for everyone and does it all well. It's well-designed, well-polished, and encompasses everything I love about this style of game and more. A modern masterpiece in every way.
Harvest Moon fans and folks who live under rocks alike will find themselves in love with this new indie farming sim.
Stardew Valley is a game that delivers so much more than it ever promised. With simple mechanics fantastically executed and a perfectly realised world that continues expanding throughout your 50+ hour playtime it’s easy to fall for this charming and endearing departure from games that are trying too hard.
Stardew Valley is a game I came to adore on the PC and I’m thrilled that it is now on the Switch so it can be played anywhere. Within my family there’s so much love for this game that my oldest daughter specifically bought her Switch for this very reason. Though she has “finished” the game at least 3 times already, and is a walking encyclopedia of Stardew factoids, she still keeps playing. That’s the power of this game, and the sense of serenity that’s so easy to have when playing it, and it is why I’m giving it the first 10 I’ve ever awarded for this site. It truly is a modern classic, blending elements multiple games have touched on before and combining them in just the right ways to make something truly special.
Stardew Valley is an extremely charming, polished, and nuanced game that is a breath of fresh air in the management game genre and the entire games industry as a whole. I don't think I've had so much stress-free fun in a game for years, and would highly recommend it to anyone.
Stardew Valley is a one-of-a-kind game. In appearance it is a pixelated Harvest Moon, but when you scratch a bit you discover an alternate reality that you don't want to leave.

Stardew Valley is a beautiful, fun game that, when all of its parts are pulled together, make for a wonderful countryside adventure.
Stardew Valley is a game that keeps on giving. There is so much I haven't even explored yet that has my giddy for the future. The core mechanics and relaxing aesthetic merge so well together that players will sink in to the experience and never want to leave.
Right in the death rattle of 2016, Stardew Valley comes along and sits itself down at the Game of the Year table. It's a remarkable game, warmly familiar, yet fresh as a daisy. In a year where indie games have stepped up to the plate and hit home runs-a-plenty, Stardew Valley is the one that knocks it out of the park and into a neighbouring city.
Stardew Valley has been the most rich and heartwarming experience I've had in a game in years.
Smooth framerates, clear, crisp sound and every feature of its original at home or on the go. Stardew Valley on the Nintendo Switch emphasizes everything that makes the Switch so much fun, the best comparison to Stardew Valley on the Switch, would be Pean
Stardew Valley is a fantastic title that every Harvest Moon fan should play. In nothing better in this genre currently you will not find, the game delights on every front. Take and play!

All in all this is an amazingly fun little game - yes, some stuff can get repetitive, however, there is enough content to always find something to do. They could further improve the game by expanding on the friendship and family system, however, for the content available in the game coupled with its relatively low price point, it can offer potentially hundreds of hours of gameplay that you can easily get lost in.
Stardew Valley is an extremely relaxing and fun game. The variety of activities to perform keeps the player glued to the screen and turns this into one of the most addictive games of the last years. It deserves to be played by anyone with access to it.

Stardew Valley is a rare experience that has a complex and effective reward system that keeps you saying to yourself “just one more day”. You can easily find yourself losing hours and hours that feel like minutes. You may develop an overwhelming urge to create spreadsheets and fill notebooks with observations, recipes, product values, and villagers’ favorite gifts. And it very well may be just what you didn’t know you needed.
The distilled quintessence of everything you love about the Harvest Moon games.
Stardew Valley is an awesome experience. What it lacks in scale and scope, it makes up for with heart and variety. I spent dozens of hours being immersed in Stardew Valley and I think you will too.
If you like Harvest Moon, this game is for you. Hundreds of hours can be poured into this game very easily. The game controls in a simple manner, and yet is so deep when it comes to its gameplay mechanics. Easily one of the best games available on Steam.
